    Peace.

Are there 5" salat" per day? Shall we start

Sura 1 proves there are 5 daily contact prayers

    Chapter 1 has 7 verses
17 is the number of Rakaats/ units in the 5 daily prayers.
    2 + 4 + 4 + 3 + 4= 17

29 Arabic words in the 7 verses of chapter 1
29 is the number of initial chapters in the Quran

114 chapters overall in the Quran.
    114 - 29 = 85
85 is the number of uninitial chapters in the Quran
    85 = 17 x 5

    17 Rakaats/units in 5 daily prayers

OK, it is numerology and coincidence?
    Forget 29 or 17.

    Move to sura 2?

Chapter 2 proves there are 5 daily contact prayers

Chapter 2 is the 1st initial chapter
    Chapter 2 has 286 verses
    1286
    1+2+8+6 = 17 There are 17 units/Rakaats in a day

    1286 x 19 = 24434
    2 4 4 3 4 are units of prayers in a day
    2+4+4+3+4 = 17

    Is this 5 prayers also?

    Fine, move to surah3...etc
Come on good logic, stop this nonsense?
    GOD bless you all.
    Peace.

Quran is a guide and not a puzzle game. Allah does not shy away from the truth. If Allah wants something done, it is explicitly mentioned. No puzzle games or mental gymnastics.

        Peace Brother.

Of course you have the choice to do as you please.

Now Allow me to give another " tafseer" for salat

GOD wishes no hardship imposed on us in practicing our religion. Any suggestion in mythology as to how to perform some of the details that move us in the direction of making the religion difficult, cannot be from GOD and is not approved by Him.

It is simple, intention to do your "salat" then follow Qoran

GOD says in Qoran when you observe the "salat"

        1. Wash your face, and we have 1 face.
        2. Wash your arms to the elbow, and we have 2 arms.
        3. Wipe your head, and we have 1 head.
        4. Wipe/Wash your feet to the ankles, and we have 2 feet.

        1 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 6
Before performing our 5 daily "salat", we do the above 6 actions in our ablution.
This is why Almighty GOD has placed the instruction for ablution in 56.
People should be able to do these actions comfortably, without any hardship( and if they cannot, they use "dry ablution"-Tayammum&quot. People are men, women, left-handed, right-handed, tall, short, fat, skinny, and all sort of other things. How to do "salat" is well preserved for generations confirmed by Qoran.

In regard to our feet, some people might say that the Quran says we should wipe our feet to the ankles instead of washing them. GOD says that He loves those who are clean. The believers should use their own judgment, this is a test for all of us. We must not create division between ourselves dueling on this issue. Regardless of washing our feet or wiping them, GOD will not throw our "salat" to waist.

Our intention and timing must be resolute and our "salat" must be dedicated to GOD ALONE.

        Thank you brother.
        GOD bless you.
        Peace.

Why would our Salaat be thrown to our waists?

You Should know that God Does not.make mistakes.

"We did not leave anything out of the book" 638

                If you accept to the above verse, continue to read ;

"We have cited in this Quran every example for the people, yet the human being is most argumentative." 1854

You say if one is disabled? How do you mean? All people take showers and if someone can not do it then someone helps with these acts. I don't get you, you seem to think that it would impossible which is false.

"You shall recite what is revealed to you of the book and observe the Salat, for the Salat prohibits vice and evil and the remembrance of God is the most important. God knows what you do." 2945

"O you who believe, do not approach the Salat while intoxicated, until you know what you are saying." 443

                God is great!

Of course Allah doesn't make mistakes. Ask yourself why you're given an interpretation that gives you a step-by-step guide on performing a nameless ritual while no such detailed explanation is given for salat. Ask yourself how there's no mention of disabled people regarding this nameless cleaning ritual but exceptions are made for salat when your mind is intoxicated. And what on earth has rubbing soil got to do with this so called cleaning ritual? Why is no name given to it? Please rub some soil on your face and tell me if it makes your face shine clean.

This is Nick, he was born without limbs. According to 56 he should wash his face, arms, head and legs. Quran give no details on how disabled people are to perform this cleaning ritual. How is Nick going to follow the interpretation of verse 56 since it tells you to perform it before rising for salat?
You only need to be sane. No limbs are required to perform salat. This voids the interpretation of verse 56.

Does it say wash your face with your own hands?

This man has a assistans and knows how to take a shower.

mashallah, may god bless him and his family.

Does it say wash your face with your own hands?

"O you who have believed, when you rise to prayer, wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and wash your feet to the ankles. And if you are in a state of janabah, then purify yourselves. But if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and do not find water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and hands with it. Allah does not intend to make difficulty for you, but He intends to purify you and complete His favor upon you that you may be grateful" 56

Nick does not have forearms, elbows or feet. Nick is therefore deprived from performing salat since you MUST have forearms, elbows and feet to perform this nameless cleaning ritual before rising for salat. There is no mention of physically disabled people when it comes to salat in the Quran. Quran only talks of having a functioning mind so you know what you're saying.

"O you who believe, do not approach the Salat while intoxicated, until you know what you are saying." 443

?no person shall have a burden laid on him greater than he can bear? (2286).

Verse 495 has nothing to do with salat or the nameless cleaning rituals. Provide a verse telling disable people on how to perform "wudu" or a physical salat for people like Nick. Every human with a sound mind can perform salat. Verse 56 contradicts this. Nick needs limbs to perform "wudu" and a physical salat.

If verse 56 is true, then it directly contradicts 2286. Nick is told by 56 to wash is arms, elbows and feet. Nick also needs limbs to perform a physical ritual called salat and not just a sound and functioning mind. Quran provides NO EXPLANATION on how disabled people perform the nameless cleaning ritual and physical salat.
This can only mean two things. Either the interpretation of 56 is false or disabled people are deprived from performing "wudu" and a physical salat. There isn't even a detailed explanation on how to perform a physical salat for healthy individuals in the Quran.

Allah is fair and just. Allah gives every human, disabled or not, the ability to do salat. Salat is not a physical ritual. Everyone can do it, anytime and anywhere.

Tayammum is a DRY ablution brother. Your analogy of this guy with mud over his face isn't accurate. Even animals can clean themselves effectively using dry sand.

Tayammum is a DRY ablution brother. Your analogy of this guy with mud over his face isn't accurate. Even animals can clean themselves effectively using dry sand.

Where can I find dry sand here in London? New York? Alaska? Quran is a guide for every human. Not just someone living in the Middle East or in a beach.

Britain is over two thirds Inceptisols. This is what it looks like.

And this is what beach sand looks like in Britain.

Unless you live near a beach, there's no way you can clean yourself with dry earth. The soil here does NOT clean you. It makes you dirtier, not cleaner. Unless of course, you want to look like a tramp.
