Respectfully.Here's a proof about CEREBRAL CORTEX
The Quran on the Cerebrum
Allah said in the Quran about one of the evil unbelievers who forbade the Prophet Muhammad from praying at the kaaba
"Let him beware! If he does not stop, We will take him by the Naseyah (front of the head), a lying, sinful Naseyah (front of the head)!"( Quran, 9615-16)
Why did the Quran describe the front of the head as being lying and sinful? Why didn't the Quran say that the person was lying and sinful? What is the relationship between the front of the head and lying and sinfulness?
If we look into the skull at the front of the head, we will find the prefrontal area of the cerebrum (see figure 12). What does physiology tell us about the function of this area? A book entitled Essentials o Anatomy & Physiology says about this area, "The motivation and the foresight to plan and initiate movements occur in the anterior portion of the frontal lobes, the prefrontal area.This is a region of association cortex..."' Also the book says, "In relation to its involvement in motivation, the prefrontal area is also thought to be the functional center for aggression...."

So, this area of the cerebrum is responsible for planning, motivating, and initiating good and sinful behavior, and is responsible for the telling of lies and the speaking of truth. Thus, it is proper to describe the front of the head as lying and sinful when someone lies or commits a sin, as the Quran said,"... A lying, sinful Naseyah (front of the head)!"
Scientists have only discovered these functions of the prefrontal area in the last sixty years, according to Professor Keith L. Moore.As salamu alaykum.

Hey savage-carrot, why qur'an should mention about your little electronic pocket devices? you're not taking them with your grave, are you? Qur'an is a guidance for every human being, this life and after, and not just for 21st century, also since 1400 year's ago it was revealed so i dont understand how you came up with your apple toys? And yeah qur'an does quote some scientific information which are important to us to know about, not about how your iPhone will work, but how in future things you don't know about will bring people closer, and that was explained to people over thousand years ago which means whole technology system. Now the things you've been thinking of, why allah should mention that in qur'an anyway? Allah gave us brain to built such things in modern technology, did anyone ever thought of this? If the quran is a book containing 'irrefutable' science,and is guidance for all times/today,then where are the verses on tv,test tube babies,internet,nuclear power,cloning,automobiles,genetically modified food,transistor radios,ipods,mobile phones,vcrs,electricity,carbon dating,etc,etc...?
This is very conclusive,irrefutable,provable,tangible,easily available,obvious mainstream technology,and cannot all be denied...
Is the book incomplete,did god forget,or is there some other explanation...?

There re things in the ld writings of sumerians, peoples of the Americas and other parts of the world, that make one wonder... Archeology has made its blunders also and continues to make them.There are many things we do not know and we fill the blanks with the "findings" of archeologists who finally are human and expected to respect established concepts many times grounded on unquestioned assumptions which seemed like unavoidable at a time but which may be completely baseless.
May be there should be a more daring archeology. Or may be there is but is not acknowledged by the estaablishment.
Wha to me seemsunquestionable from the Qur'an is that this is not the first Humanity.

RED In earlier post of you, you said that Mohammed has observed some things.
The verses you quoted above are not about Mohammed observing something.
And the verses you quoted are per my understanding not about time-traveling or motion of galaxies or expansion of space but I could be wrong. -

actually its all whats our understanding of observing things.everybody have a right to present their theories and understanding of learning this treasure in the shape of quran.
in the light of my knowledge i beleive these verses are talking about muhammad and the event that took place...
and about the exact event we are not cleared apart from these hints.thats also leads towards some modern theories.
as we know about the verses of time period infront of God is fifty thousand years sometimes.rest of the things let see what happen in near future.everybody can be right and wrong but as soon we realise we are wrong we should accept it.in the end i would like to say Allah is the hearer and seer of things.
