If that is in order to preserve life then it would be logical to fend off. Your scenario was not exactly my point but instinctively staged wars for some deluded goal much like Jafar points out.
And you do not understand what I meant with fighting fire to douse the another fire because you can consume the other fire by the force of your fire, it will still equal fire and you would need water to extinguish the fire. Fighting would perhaps be a necessary evil but in order to settle things then water will be needed, symbolized by Blue while the fire is Red, or cold versus heat.

Considering tensions between the U.S and Russia, China, and Iran , there would be no doubt that ww3 would come true. So just wondering if it would happened would you serve and of you asked me I am conflicted with this issue since it is not a war for the sake pf God so I dont think I can.
anyways I would love to add here that since I am guessing most of us here live in a non muslim country do we still have to serve in their military? Like what do you guys think of the rulings in such...

But, make no mistake, if God wanted to test all of us speaking here on a forum with WAR, then God shall bring it to our own neighborhood. You will either scream like a baby or collect yourself and do what you have to do.
We are currently living in peace and typing all sort of stuff about war in a forum with ease yet there are people out there living war. You might be the next! To be tested with your own life is a great test and (might be the final one as well).

Yeah absolutely. when you see someone forcing into your house with a machete, run to your kitchen, grab a knife and stab yourself.

However a problem is that you need to make sure to be spiritually ready before you leave the flesh. If you die in a body without being ready you will recycle into another.
One of the ancient commandments say "do not defeat", which means that you should not use the instinct to win. It does not directly tell not to kill but has been interpreted like that due to corruption of languages.
Obviously this does not justify killing because you should treat your neighbor like yourself and you should also care for your enemy. When understanding the commandment to be "do not defeat" it is easier to add it up. When the only remaining logical thing to do, when diplomacy fails, is to kill someone then so be it and they left no other choice in their delusion.
And eye for an eye... no more.
If I was sure I was ready, perhaps I would allow myself to be killed without defense if no other life depended on me.
Actually it is better to rush oneself to be prepared and then if the situation arises they can kill you. Homo sapiens is turned on by violence so perhaps it is better to abstain, so you do not trigger an instinct unnecessarily. Anything that causes a sensation of a game, contest, reward stimulus will thrill the primitive little Homo sapiens.
Actually, in many ways it is a difficult world in which we live.

Some people are higher in rank in Gods eyes. They are put in more advantageous situations.
However even if YOUR way had all of these things you named. Doesn't really mean that one must go trough the same.
And if you are worrying about me. My way is too not without any bumps here and there. We know this world is not paradise. God knows what Ive been trough and what Im going through this exact moment.

(In similar fashion as a laptop given a new and fresh hard drive and RAM) AND you were born into different context and tradition.. let's say today's Jewish or Hindus family, will you then belief in the same thing as you are now?
It can be extended with... and you were born into a family of Marduk worshipper 3000 years ago in the city of Mesopotamia.. will you then belief in the same thing as you are now?

infact, if i ll have the same brain what i have now, then i will think about it, whatever tradition i born in i will verify it , if my verification and my mind contradict with something i will revise my thinking and i will approach God with truth...
even in my current life, by the grace of God i changed my self from something to something .. which is quite risky for me...
look i born in system which i dnt really beleive in now...its mean even i get birth 3000 years ago with same mind , in whatever tradition i m confident on myself i eventually find a solution of the puzzle specially how abraham find it by reason logic and verifications... its not hard to find your creator specially when you are sincear in your findings, and God is also there to show light to the people who want it ...
