Something thought provoking

I made a mistake it was the same quranist that i had a conversation with, he was just speaking with someone else. Anyway he said this to the other person (which i will not mention his name) The name/title "G-d" belongs to a Germanic/Teutonic deity. To refer to Allah as "G-d" is shirk. No where does Allah call Himself "G-d". Before you say its just the english translation, tell me the english translation for "Muhammad" (s). There isn't one, and there is no translation for Allah.
Then he said To refer to Allah as "G-d" is a metaphor likening Allah to a false deity, the transliteration of is "Allah". There's no way to get G-o-d out of
People also ask
What is the meaning of the word transliteration?
verb. 1. (transitive) to transcribe (a word, etc, in one alphabet) into corresponding letters of another alphabet. does not correspond with "G-0-D".In Qur'an He calls Himself , no where does he refer to Himself as "G-0-D". Many Muslims have fallen in the trap of using this false name, in order to gain acceptance from Judaeo-Christians.
Next he said "G-d" is the name/title of a false deity. Then he showed the picture that i shown in the first page
https//scontent-arn2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/19424284_10209442930254605_5371361913832599540_n.jpg?oh=a449942d890e95c0b166a54766d355d8&oe=59C85468
Then i spoke to him If Allah (SWT) is not God then what is he? Allah called himself Lord of the worlds? Forgive me but your promoting athiesm are you? This is getting confusing i hope im not being decieved. By the way i dont see God bound by any religion nor Judeo-Christian nor worshipped but to serve God through good deeds such helping the poor, needy and opressed. And i cant speak nor read arabic by the way.
Then he responed I am NOT SAYING that is not Creator of Heavens, Earth, and Mankind, and I am NOT promoting atheism. My point is the name/title "G-d" is the name of a heathen Germanic deity. and g-d are not the same Entity/Force/Being.
Then i said Dont worry brother im not accusing you im just confused thats all. So from what i see what your saying is that Allah is the Creator of the Heavens, Earth, and Mankind but you are saying the word God is heathen. Okay interesting, sorry misunderstanding. Obviously im a monotheist but i dont worship through rituals but do service to our Beloved Unbegotten Creator. (Which he liked the comment, this on facebook by the way.)
And last i said BUT! Im not sure if you are 100% correct about word God has heathen origins. From my point of view Our Lord (SWT) is highest of the highest and there is nothing like our beloved Almighty Creator. Only Allah (SWT) can answer that question 4060 Your Lord has said, "Call upon Me and I shall respond to you. Surely, those who are too arrogant to serve Me, will enter Hell, disgraced."
And he did not responded since then.

Just letting you know im not agreeing with him, it just made me thinking.
-
i think i have a slight idea who you are talking about..
ask him is arabic is his native language? , and the reply will make you understand the worth of his claim..
if he said to you "yes" its my native language then dnt forget to ask the evidence.. some people are lazy in giving evidences..perhaps they dnt have it..
and by calling myself quranist will not make me quranist.
same goes with muslim ,christian, jew and sunni shia..you are what you believe in from core.
using a term "quranist" is dangerous the only system is islam(peacemaking) infront of God..
-
But what if he shows arabic words, i cant read arabic. By the way i asked him that question now i may let you know when he responds because im not good with debating.
-
Peace The Sardar.
The simple answer is do not debate him. Say he has his understanding and you have yours.
GOD s words are debating everyone for you. GOD showed Abraham how to debate with folks.
The best debate is in Qoran ,if anyone fails to see it,then your debate is going to make zero impact.
Allah is an Arabic word,Dieu is a French word, GOD is an English word...etc If you look the bible up you find the Arabic word for GOD is Allah even before Qoran. I do not see any issue.
If anyone says to you in any language "Allah" is the name of GOD and you cannot change it,say do you treat Allah like humans/animals and give him a special name? GOD forbid Allah/GOD/Dieu.... is unlike any of His creatures to be given a special name? All the good names are befitting Allah.
Hence if you speak to him about GOD in Arabic use Allah,in French use....etc.
My view brother.
GOD bless you.
Peace. -
Now there is another guy commented on the post i was speaking to the man though he was not speaking to me.
He said When we consider something separate from us it becomes an object or a deity. Worshiping any object even if it is "God" is not acceptable and is tantamount to shirk and Allah is not a deity. La ilaha ilallah.
That left me so confused.

Um hello?

RED ask the evidence?
specially if there is something you can compare to true God (ch 112)BLUE , there is no diety but Allah.
God is not an object , using this word object for God is not suitable ..worship people take it as "ritual" to any diety or thing..
the word "ibada" mean to serve ..
serving Allah is not shirk.. serving true God is not shirk..
willingly or unwillingly everything in heavens and earth is serving God..GREEN no need to get confuse.. in fact the nature of God is beyond the perception of human mind.. so i guess your brother is also a human being like us.. he dnt have a built in super human mind to understand the nature of God.. peace
simple serving is to obey his commands that generate a peacemaking atmosphere around us..

You know something i noticed when he said La ilaha ilallah, he missed one last word la ilaha illa HUWA, which means there is no god but He. That means Allah (SWT) is denies false gods but saying he is The One True God. (If i get that right because thats what im seeing.)
-
there are lot of other examples like this.
Allahu la ilaha illahuwa alhayyu alqayyoomu
Allah, there is no god except He, the Living/the Sustainer/EVERLASTING

Man ever since this conversation i had with this man i cant tug of war in my mind about Allah (SWT) being a god or not a god, its been bothering me for a few days i honestly dont know what to think its true. Me personally i do believe Allah (SWT) is the One True God. But ever since that photo when quranist showed me, its tugging my mind that if i believe Allah is a god that would be shirk according to one quranist (which i find it weird and off) but at the if i dont acknowlagde Allah being a god i could be very mistaken and the outcome would be embarassing to me. Wow this thinking is rushing me. &
Here is the photo im talking about https//scontent-arn2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/19424284_10209442930254605_5371361913832599540_n.jpg?oh=a449942d890e95c0b166a54766d355d8&oe=59C85468

I also found this 6413 Allahu la ilaha illahuwa waAAala Allahi falyatawakkali almu/minoona God! There is no deity but Him. On God, then, let the believers put their trust. Shabbir Ahmed (Quran As It Explains Itself)

God = male diety
Goddess = female diety..thats something interesting to ponder about.

Im not quite sure what this means. Our Lord is above all so Allah (SWT) does not a gender, The Gracious created the genders.

exactly thats what i wanted to tell you..
Allah is far above the laws and rules made by humans to categorized things, nature, gender etc..
dnt need to get confuse on the theories that based on theoretical understandings.. (Allah is far above whatever we associate with him)

On that we agree human brother Imran. Still cant get over this picture i showed yesterday. Something tells me this is not everything what it seems. If someone could research this picture i shown i would be thankful for this. By they way is it true that being a diety is highest of the highest right?

i read it , i did not find anything that i cant get over?
it appears to me the evolution of word "God" and the concepts related with that word..
same word khuda in persian , bhagwan in hindi, eshwar in sanskrit, in urdu/punjabi same word usage is rabba/mola/khudaya
while in arabic Allah is used
and quranic lisan used Allah as the proper addresse of the message..in english the word God is the interpretation of Allah as well as translation of a diety who is supreme being
now keeping in this mind then read this again
there is no (diety)god
except Allah/God/eshwar/rabb/khuda(note if somebody claim himself Allah and his name is Allah too it does not make him real Allah who deserve the serving)
same like raheem, rauf , rahman are names for general public but does they really raheem rauf and rehman.. even some of them are criminals lol..
let me know if thats what you are looking , the picture will not help if you will not share what you are looking for?
interesting thing about this word KHUDA it was also a name of a person or diety who believed as the fire God of persian people .. and some of muslim scholars are against using this word khuda for God..
God bless you

Hmm.. this makes me think about, as i said about in first page i do not agree with this quranist because our minds cannot comprehend the true nature of Allah/God (SWT). Thank you human brother Imran this has cleared some things. I hope you & i are not wrong on this matter. May the Divine Infinite Creator (SWT) bless you & your family.
