I wouldn't condone it. Especially if the purpose is to make oneself more "beautiful". Having said that, I dont think there's a prohibition as such. On the other hand, it's not a bad thing to do if it is corrective surgery for someone who's had an accident or disease.

These days you can change anything. From your skin colour to extending the length of your...erm...hum.."legs", even women can enhance not only boobs but also other "things" -) ?
I would like a beautiful body myself. May be in the future they can grow a perfect body from my own DNA strands yeah?

If you grow a body from your own DNA it will grow up to look just like you (with a few alterations due to different growth histories, obviously.
It won't be you. The new body is technically your twin brother.

If you grow a body from your own DNA it will grow up to look just like you (with a few alterations due to different growth histories, obviously.
It won't be you. The new body is technically your twin brother.
I meant with my own DNA but "altered" and so that it becomes a beautiful body with a face with chisled features with added biceps, triceps and 6 pacs that women like a lot -) (may be my brain could be transferred to that body or may be my consciouness can be downloaded to the new body in the future, yeah? -)

Well the technology for those isn't available yet and I doubt that you can store your consciousness in a physical sense.

I was watching the movie "Frida" the other day. She married Diego Rivera who happened to lack all the features you mentioned above. Her parents thought the couple was like an elephant marrying a dove!!!

Brother Wakas, can you please explain how do you interpret this sign other than not to make any anatomical or genetic change in one's body, which is akin to plastic surgery or genetic recombination?

Men and Women in my office are obssessed with body beautiful! They spend their lunch and evening going to the gym. Men call it "Beefcaking" !
and women call it, "bum trimming" or something like that. I tried the gym once. Almost passed out on the exercise machine!! -)

Millions of people are not happy with the way they look!
It seems it is such a human thing not to be satisfied in how you look.What is wrong with straigtening a bent nose for instance which gives that individual a sense of confidence in themselves?
For me no amount of plastic surgery can help! But if I had only a crooked nose perhaps, yes I might consider it or perhaps not -)

Assuming the translation is correct, I feel its referring to the balance within the creation. From what I've studied from 'the reading' of those who corrupt (i.e. disorder) the earth/order/justice etc. they go against the balance / transgress the boundaries/limits. It simply cannot be a blanket statement meaning no change to any part of The God's creation.
Once we understand what attributes The God has instilled within the creation, then we can see what it means to change such a creation.

IMO we should not make any change to The God's creation if it is only for cosmetic reasons, i.e. to improve some external feature to make it look "better" or "more beautiful" without the presence of any gross deformity, because then we will be following our ego and/or the devil. One should be content with one's body and external appearances as the definition of external beauty or good looks is very subjective and different for different cultures and can vary from time to time even in the same culture.

644 He created the heavens and the Earth with truth, and He designed you and perfected your design, and to Him is the final destiny.
674 He created seven skies in layers. You do not see any imperfection in the creation by the Almighty. What about women with unimaginably large breasts, hey they are not gross deformity, but they can be very heavy to walk about with, hould they not have breast reduction then?

I gave only few examples and not every conceivable situation. IMO in all above cases it would be ok for plastic surgery. All the above examples would be classified as a dis-ease/imbalance and plastic surgery would correct that dis-ease/imbalance thereby bringing it to wasat.

Is being born with six digits God Perfection or human deformity?Bent nose or six fingers is not imperfection but OUR PERCEIVED IMPERFECTION because of our cultural and social norms or perceptions.
Having said that, congenital abnormalities and birth defects are our fault and not The God's. It depends on if the mother used some drug while she was pregnant, or exposed to radiation or environmental pollutants or carcinogens or viral infections etc. All those things are OUR FAULT that we subjected our children to some kind of environmental insult, damaging the child ourselves. The God has perfected the creation and is not responsible for our faults.

Changing how we look is the department of Al Shai6an. Iblees despised Adam (humans) from day one. He considered him (them) of a lower/lesser substance (clay). So he took it upon himself to prove to God that humans too feel the same way about themselves and so started convicing humans to change themsleves whenever and however possible. Iblees's mission is to tell us that we don't look right and that something has to be done to correct this mistake (in Iblees' mind this mistake was done by God, and that is why he refused to submit to God to prostrate to Adam Iblees' logic!).
