Peace all,
Has there ever been a message without an agenda? Isn't an 'agenda' a defining part of a message?
I agree with this. Not only that, but our friend M_Mehdi seems to not realize that no matter what position or views people may have, others who disagree or oppose their views will always come up with a label to stick on them. Usually, it's not a very friendly label, but a label none-the-less.
One,
Damon. -
Salaamun alaikum Damon,
One last thing, for future reference, if you are going to quote me I ask that you either quote everything I said and not chop it up in bits and pieces (so people can get the full picture of my position) or provide a link to the thread in which the quote appears so others can go and see ALL that was said by the person quoted and be able to place it in proper context.
That's only fair, is it not?
Very fair. The sad truth is, decontextualisation is the tool of those who refuse to address questions directly. Those people are here for egotistical reasons. Loudness, brashness and obnoxiousness are their traits.

I've seen sometimes its lack of comprehension, whether deliberate/feigned or incapacity I do not know...but I have to agree, those three traits are very revealing.

Salaamun alaikum KGB,
I disagree with you and Joe on that Messanger is required prerequisite to implement the simple laws of Allah Taala, respecfully. More detailed reply soon inshaAllah.
Ok. I have the theory that indeed we are talking about the same thing, but we're talking PAST one another.
Would u agree that we need to practise from the book in order to get God's help, for example?

I'm happy to see that my lil mustard seed has grown into so much mustard that all the weenies of the board felt like dipping themselves into it.
i kid... i kid... please don't put your undies in a bunch on my account.. as some of you know i started work again this week.. insha-Allah i Will come and address every question posted to me in a deliberate and percise manner... this weekend..
As predicted very correctly by Damon
Damon Mehdi my friend, you seem to be in a state of limbo and have some confusions and doubt about what you should be believing and doing. And instead of discussing and asking questions, you throw around accusations and initiate senseless threads. I know this will come off as an attack, but I think you have some growing up to doIf we think about it, future students of al-quraan will be coming here and instead of finding proper , well-ordered discussion, they will find this fecal matter being posted. That's very sad indeed.

Salaamun alaikum KGB,
Yes I do believe that Allah will provide help if we start following Qur'an.
Correct. Allah says it's incumbent (kataba Allah, 30/47) to help the believers. One of the characteristics of a believer is that he hears, and he obeys (2/285). What does he hear ? The sayings of the messenger , (69/40).
My point is, the program of al-quraan demands someone there to practise it and fertilise its information among the believers. That person, whatever you want to call him, acts the role of what al-quraan calls 'ar-rasool'.
thanks and peace.

Salaam KGB,
Doesn't matter if you disagree either. We're here to share information. It's only people who are here to vent frustrations, impress others and simply verbal masturbation we need to look out for. Please we don't want none of that! Now wash your mouth out with soap!!!

Salaam Alleikum MQuran
I started to look for the Prophethood and Messangership in Qur'an and did find interesting verses. I will take time to gather compile and put my understanding into words which I am not very good at.
MQuran, I will not say anything on the forum to please you or anybody else, so whatever I write in blunt undeplomatic way is what I firmly believe.

It's all about the process, all about the process. If you're sincere, God
will guide.MQuran, I will not say anything on the forum to please you or anybody else, so whatever I write in blunt undeplomatic way is what I firmly believe
.Very good. There are people on the forum who post to impress and are brash and loud, but you're not one of them. It's a pleasure speaking to you.

I am really enjoying contructive discussion with you. We may never agree on issues but sure I am in the company of learned person who is helping me to increase my knowledge about the message and every day learning meaning of new Arabic words. Thank you MQuran.
Regarding the Prophethood we are discussing here I started reading Sura Aal Imran 3164 but Allah Taala guided me to read the whole Sura and I find very interesting verses. I am not finish with the message only read Sura Aal Imran and An Nissah. I will go through the rest of Qur'an inshaAllah soon.

You give me too much credit there. I'm here to learn as much as anyone. The key thing is to keep stimulating each other with information while continuing to be a good person. If only I had as much humility as Kyle, Wakas or Joe.

Notice how Ali-imran builds up to the conflict which is led by the messenger. This is what strenghtens my belief in the need for such a personality. One who keeps inculcating in the believers the message. I honestly don't mind if this guy doesn't call himself a messenger, as long as he acts in the manner al-quraan commands him.
