I have a search engine in arabic bro, however I have to remember one word at least to bring the related verses, and truely the words of the Quran always rimes in my ears due to the fact I read it in arabc for the last 25 years

A feeble age to me sounds like childhood or when we are infants. -

If death is painful, Why is this pain necessary ?
I am assuming that you have asked two questions here.
I suppose the first one is difficult as how close is close? but the nearest analogy I can think of, which I have heard from a sufi, is the daily sleep. In a way that is a kind of temporary death and it is both pleasent and unpleasent depending on what your dreams are like.
There are many who have claimed to die i.e left their bodies and returned but none have reported pain. Although this phenomena has been given scientific explanation (I read it long ago I cannot give you precise details).As for your second question In this day and age physically speaking death does not have to be painful regardless of cause. Although often the pain, emotional, is felt more by those left behind.

Man, i've known arabic for about 6 years, just enough to understand what im reading, and already it moves me. Al-quraan is the ultimate conceptual adventure for me, alhamdulillah.

All the Quran verses are very lovely and touching even the ones that have violence in it
regarding reincarnation as thought to be talked about in the following verse
?It is Allah who creates you and takes your souls at death; and of you there are some who are sent back to a feeble age, so that they know nothing after having known (much) for Allah is All-Knowing, All-Powerful.?

I honestely don't believe it is talking about reincarnation at all, rather Allah is explaining to us the followings
- Allah is the one who created all of us.
- Allah is the one who cause all of us to die.
- Allah is the one who cause some humans to live longer than others.
- Those who were allowed to live to an old age will loose their memory because Allah caused this to happen as well.
- Allah is All-Knowing, All-Powerful.
so I could not see anything that incline to be talking about reincarnation
you know this reincarnation is an old doctrine invented by the Hindu religion, it has no merit, no evidence and sure no logic or common sense to support it
and that is what Satan always try to do to flaw the belief by introducing flawed ideas that are already exhusted by humnas, like the trinity concept for example, which was an old concept years before Christianity
Looking at the context of the whole Quran together and tracking all the verses that talks about our creation, our death and the account we have to give, we will never find any clue that will make me incline to believe in reincarnation as a valid concept

Sure mate, I encourage you to learn more about the language and I'm sure we will learn a lot together when I get the Nahaw refrence book inshaallah
your 6 years knowledge should be enough to make you understand over 80% of the Quran

I have another question for you brother.
I have been told(being a sunni) that when either of the spouse dies they become strangers for one another and in islam you are not allowed to love that man or woman after they have died.
I can remember when my dad died, my mum wasn't allowed to visit his grave or talk about how much she loved him. She would say if i think about him or see him in a dream i will be commiting sin. -

what you heard does not make sense to me Tahira, from what I read it is not encouraged to cry on the loved one who died, this makes sense to me beacause our cry my be motivated as that's it while the fact of the matter is the real life just started by death, we are only transitting in this short life, so to cry on someone who died is like objecting the general law of Allah
however if someone know the above advice but was so emotional that he/she cried on a loved one, I see no sin committed because it can be motivated by love and loyalty and both are encouraged in the Quran
from what I read that women are discouraged to visit the graves of loved ones, I would say because women are more emotional and kinder than men and most likely they will cry
but if a woman wants to visit a loved one grave and can handle herself from crying then why not, it sounds very meritic to me
your mum can remember your dad and think about him everyday, there is nothing wrong in that but just advice her not to cry, that's all
but if she cried because she got emotional then I see nothing wrong at all, we are humans and God created us weak as stated in the Quran

How can it not hurt just a bit? I mean there you are as the energy that is you, must seperate from the physical. A connection that has been for that long a period of time is not going to let go easily. Then there is the added mental state. Honestly, no matter how they may protest, i doubt very many poeple are completely comfortable with death when it happens.
Who knows? Seriously though, I don't think it is really worth worrying about. What are you gonna do? Spend the rest of your time trying to figure it out to the point where you fight "literally" to the death? Or realize that regardless of what you THINK you know now, it means nothing when the time comes and whatever will happen will.

The process of dying can be painful. You can be hit by a truck, or stabbed, or burned, or develop serious cancer or other diseases that can cause pain. But it can also be a peaceful normal death.
Inshallah, I hope that when I die it may be a peaceful transition and that I'd be worthy of God's love and approval.

LIke I said, I doubt there are many people who will go peacefully into that good night, when it comes down to it. Sure death is natural, but from the experience and knowledge of humans, LIFE is a hell of a lot more natural and at least, by the time most of us die, we are pretty sure of life. Get back to me at your moment of death and let me know how calm and natural it is then

Pain is an odd thing.
Amputees can sometimes feel pain in the missing limb - called phantom pain it shows how dependent pain is on things other than actual physical stimulation.
It is quite obviously mediated by the brain and reactions occurring there.
Can you feel pain in a dream?

When I say peaceful death it's opposed to that of death by killings or nasty diseases. I'm sure it's never a walk in the park.
I saw my old grandfather die in bed and it sure wasn't peaceful.

I have felt emotional pain in a dream, fear-sorrow-remorse-ect., but usually any physical pain is a result of the cat walking across my chest or face or something like that. I once burned my arm on the radiator while sleeping and that became part of my dream.
