LOL! Man, have I ever struck fear deep into your dark heart...

Not just me, but every other person you've crushed on any forum you've ever been on cough. Can't you see that we're all absolutely crapping ourselves?

As far as Albion is concerned, well, this individual believes that Jesus is God and is fully human and fully God and God's own son etc. etc. etc...and he refers to me as a clown and you support him?!

I don't know if I'd say support, but your clownish behaviour amuses a little, if that's what you wanted to know.

    Get a life.

I think that if I'd been banned multiple times from multiple forums, alternately criticising them and then whoring my integrity to them to be let back on to write the same garbage over and over, then I might need one like you absolutely do.

Good deal. There will be no more discussion between you and I.

      The truth hurts.

Especially the truth that people are not prepared to put up with your garbage. Get used to it if you haven't already.

Just wondering is useless arguments/disputes and other things of this type, forbidden anywhere in the quran?

          Salaams.

God does says to hold discussions, but in a way that is best.

Invite to the path of your Lord with wisdom and good advice, and argue with them with that which is better. Your Lord is fully aware of who is misguided from His path, and He is fully aware of the guided ones.

                  Salaams Jaxal,

i was just pointing at futile arguments/disputes for the benefit of some people who looked as though they where into a strong argument-of a type.

                  Gods Blessings on All.

Well I am GOD Alone and Quran Alone but I dont fall into what is described on the original post as being Quran Alone, the Question should have been Who Here Are Progressive Muslims(those described with the beliefs that was listed)? Because I do salaat,I believe in pilgrimage, and in other things some claim to be just allegory etc..so the question is tainted to PM's only view..which I dont claim to be,but neither am I a 19er or Mainstream Muslim either.Im simply a Muslim that follows the religion of Abraham(Islaam) by using and following to the best of my knowledge the Message that GOD sent by Muhammad-the Quran..

Peace all. 'Quran only' is not necessarily the same as 'god alone',unless god only speaks through the quran and nowhere else...?

                            Peace

The reading is God inspired. Following it is following God alone.

It is not an implication that God speaks nowhere else.

Please take a look at the error of your conclusion.

peace nabi and all. Nabi;I put a questionmark at the end of my point,so it was not a conclusion. I also stated 'quran only' is not necessarily the same as 'god only',this is not excluding all 'quran only' from being 'god only'.Please read what i wrote. I have no doubt that God speaks outside the quran as well.(the implication by some is that the quran is the only reliable wahy or revelation.) And i will ask,can you be 'god alone' without being quran alone?(or do we have 'quran only' sectarianism?)
                              Peace all.

                                Peace

I put a questionmark at the end of my point,so it was not a conclusion.

It was a concluding remark. People do it all the time. For example x is not y unless <whatever> right?

You're assuming because of a and b that c <God speaks through the Quran and nowhere else> is definitive.

I also stated 'quran only' is not necessarily the same as 'god only',this is not excluding all 'quran only' from being 'god only'

No matter what, it is God only. It is God inspired.

the implication by some is that the quran is the only reliable wahy or revelation

And by others that it is not really a revelation and that God is not one but many.

And i will ask,can you be 'god alone' without being quran alone?

                                That's a different question buddy.

                                Quran alone is God alone.

One can believe in God alone without adhering to the quran alone.

Still, adhering to the quran alone puts one in the position of being God alone.

And surely you know the answer to your question so why ask it? Have you not been propogating such a thing throughout the forum? Ex Oh I believe we do not need the quran for this and that and the quran is not necessary. People can find God without scripture, etc.

                                Joe

Peace nabi. Ok,is the interpretation of the quran only people god inspired?
If i ask you a question, while having an opinion of my own on that question, what is the problem? If you show me im incorrect or have made a wrong conclusion(which happens,we are all human. )then i will see if you have a clearer insight on this topic. Is this not the purpose of discussion and questions? Why are you making an assumption that you think i already have a unshiftable preconceived notion to my questions? I have a previous opinion but it is not necessarily set in stone. Or can you read my mind/heart? I feel your defensiveness is possibly beacause you feel uncomfortable with some questions. I could be wrong.
                                  Peace.

                                    Salaam Enquirer,

I have no doubt that God speaks outside the quran as well.

Neither do I. As a matter of fact, the entire Quran speaks outside of it, which is what is written down and condensed in a book form by men. Much of the Quran itself is a rehash, repetition and reinstatement of what has previously been already known along with added events of its own time.

And i will ask,can you be 'god alone' without being quran alone?

Certainly, I am for one, not related to parochial dogmatic school of thoughts. (or do we have 'quran only' sectarianism)

                                        Salaams all,

                                        yes i do think ,

                                        Quran alone = God alone,

But God alone doesn't equal quran alone.

But the first is the safest bet as everything is compiled into one book to make us God Alone easier - i think.

                                        Salaams.

Peace simple. I understand your reasoning and it may be fine for you at this time. The common factor however is god,not just the quran.I dont think you can always limit guidance to one book only.God is the all,not the quran.(which is a part.)You can learn from the all.
                                          Peace all.
