Why I left so called "islam"....

salam alykum wr wb
peace be upon you
hi this is amanda it has been a while since ive posted on here. Well, I am coming to give my update. My daughter Sara has just turned 2 years old and thank God I finally have the copy of the MESSAGE. rreading the preface has been so helpful. I been spending my time studying the word of God as well as observing the "muslims" I have been back to the mosque twice. and honestly the first time i didnt notice anything odd. the second time i went it was like when i tried to convert back to christianity when i went back it just didnt feel right. I heard the imam saying things and i felt compelled to remark right then and there to the other sister near me to the imams flaws and the looks she gave me made me realize io might be the only one there who doesnt think like this. When they started talking about the cartoons of muhammad and the things he said really bothered me. I thank God that I have been guided..doesnt mean ive been feel of any errors. I really after going to the mosque feel like it is my mission to help these people..but know that God is the only guide. Sometimes i wonder..knowing all my faults..why would God give me the truth while all those people could they really be wrong. I have finally understood...God sees things in people that they dont see in themselves. The major thing I asked for truth in total sincerity. I really don't know how I will teach my daughter about islam. I mean how I will go about it. Does anyone have any ideas? Do i tell her all about all the religions even sunnism shiasm etc and then allow her to read all and choose the best way as pertaining to the quran. or do i say this is the way... what is the best approach? I dont wqnt to come down too strong, yet I dont want her to go the wrong way. I really want to get more involved I feel in the last few years God has shown me ways and helped me to change myself in ways i never knew possible. I want to keep learning and discovering myslef so that I may teach my daughter. I am concerned about his family even though they might not be religious. and what is better she is supposed to go to school next year do i put her in a secualr school where she can bbe influenced by xtians or do i put her in a muslim school where she could be influenced by sunnis and shias? i guess this is gonna be harder than i anticipated. any advice?
love your sister in islam

Salam, )
I think public/secular school is the best choice. Why? Because if your daughter goes to a religious school and she tells her non-traditional belief to her friends, she might get shunned or even harassed.
As for influence from her Xtian friends if she goes to public school, I think there is nothing to worry about. The most important thing is your guidance. If you can explain the logic of her faith (Not forcing her to adopt blind faith) and make her sure she is on the right path then hopefully she will be fine.
I wish you and your family the best

I am sorry to tell you that you are reading the wrong book. God is not in the Kur'an, Islam the wicked witch is. God loves you Amanda and I am telling you today that God is calling you back into his fold. You got confused, you wandered away form Jesus, but He loves you and wants you back with his father.
Satan is a deceiver. You yourself said that you don't understand why anybody can follow Muhammad. But the Qur'an is Muhammad. Now Satan saw that you put up a good fight and deceived you the more by leading you to believe that the Qur'an has an answer for you. Everybody who joins Islam in one way or another is under condemnation. Reading the Qur'an might sooth you, but it is a trap for souls for Islam.
The Qur'an contains the thought of men, while the Bible contains the thought of God. Your soul fought and lost. But God never gives up on his children and He knows that you love him and that is why today he leads me to your story. I never care to read people's stories but it is your choice now to find the way home to our Lord Jesus. God gave one book to his people and it is the Bible where the Books of Moses are and where Jesus and his action of salvation is.
The Muslims say that Jesus didn't die on the cross. No matter how beautiful and flowery the Qur'an is, it is a book of condemnation not salvation.
I hope that you are happy with your husband, but your soul has to make a choice Stay with the works of Muhammad or the works of God.
May God make you choose the path of Y'shua which is the only path for those called by the God of Israel!
Great hug from me
Hey B***h!
Where is your word of God? Having 1000000 versions of Bible?
e.g. King James version,
New king james version,
21st Century king James version,
New life version
International Readers version
Old testament,
new testament.
Bla Bla,,

..
..Is this still a word of God? which has been edited by 100000000 times by humans.
Go first find your original book then come back to invite anyone to christianity.

ve, this is not the right method to refute the argument of another fellow human being. didn't you read the quran about 'spiritual diseases' and god increases their disease while they think they increase their faith... same application to the hypocrites.
one more thing, this thread is in danger of being removed to "trash section" for the usage of the word "b****". ask layth, the nabi, wakas or zenje...
i am sorry bro,/sis, you might get banned for a short period of time.
you really have to find ways to mock at people without using profanity... and that is what freedom of speech is all about...

Its not freedom of Yelling allowed. That lady is trying to deviate a new muslim to the rubbish.
Freedom of speech is ok as far as she yells to invite to her religion only....what she does not have the right to tell a lie. Did she has the proof that Quran is sayings of Muhammad?
And what wrong I asked that which version is she inviting to????

Use arguments in good way VE, Moses had to do that with the Pharoah, God says in the Quran, that we always must utter peace if we come across the ignorant. It is their responsibility.

That lady is not ignorant.
There is a difference between the two situations1- I invite that lady to Islam and then she refuses saying that I dont believe this to be true religion.
2- A lady intrudes in Islamic discussion and says to muslims that I dont believe in Islam and its not true.
3- A lady intrudes in Islamic discussion and says to muslims that Islam is not true religion and quran is work of Muhammad (Naoozubillah).
4- A lady intrudes in Islamic disucssion and targets that person who has just entered Islam and has little knowledge of Islam. And at the same time abuses quran and Islam as well as Muhammd (PBUH) --> Implying that Prophet was lier (Naoozubillah)Now first scenario or the second are tolerable....But you know the third and fourth are not even permissible in Islamic laws.....No christian can preach the muslims of weak belief or less knowledge. No missionary can make people dupe/fool who have little knowledge about Islam or are just new to Islam.
Got my point?
Sincerely,

Peace,
Yes, of course we have better arguments and is she wrong. But still no reason to curse.
2855 And if they come across vain talk, they disregard it and Say "To us are our deeds, and to you is your deeds. Peace be upon you. We do not seek the ignorant."
4389 So disregard them and Say "Peace." For they will come to know.
4735 Therefore, do not be weak and ask for peace, for you are on a higher moral ground, and God is with you. And He will not waste your efforts.
2563 And the servants of the Almighty who walk on the Earth in humility and if the ignorant speak to them, they Say "Peace."
It is better, and the right way. But do what you want. Your deeds and behaviour show your faith and maturity.

I ask refuge from Allah if I am wrong. I dont like follow my Ego and dont want to lose control anyway.

It is hard, but that is part of being a muslim. Keeping your cool, is the hardest thing in life when you come across ignorant people. I have the same problem too sometimes. It is normal, we're human. Our duty is to acknowledge our weakness, and indeed ask God to help us to do better. That is why God says, say peace and walk away.......
-
Peace arnoldyasin. Very, very good post...A humble and sobering lesson for us all....
We will always come across others who we disagree with,or are even ignorant,or even abusive...We can try to keep cool and walk away....We can try to think if the 'dialogue' is actually contributing to 'peace' or anything beneficial...,if the 'dialogue' is not contributing to peace,or even making the situation worse, then rather than lose our 'cool' or saying something 'destructive',we can walk away,or stop debating...We can try to be just even to those who we disagree with,or with those who are,or can be 'antagonistic/argumentative/abusive'
Peace all. Ps; i have learnt this through real life-experience and through my recent 'experiences' on this forum!!!...Sometimes its not worth continuing in a fruitless, potentially 'abusive dialogue, ego is a very dangerous thing, and these 'dialogues' can sometimes create ill-feelings and negativity.).Take it easy... -
Peace,
Where there is a fight, two have fault. We say in Holland. If somebody gets mad, it is because, they feel attacked personaly, and that they are pushed to a border they don't wanna go. I always ask myself why i defend things. Because it is the truth? Or because i need it to be defended, as i don't have good claims? And of course, sometimes you just get mad, because the person behaves dumb, but you've to always keep your cool, because everyone is on a different level of understanding. People get mad, because they need you to believe in it, deep down they do. Sometimes i showed you, you gave the wrong examples for contradictions as they weren't contradictions. So not because you don't have the right to ask them, like some people behave, but your asking the wrong ones. If they really believed in their answers, they wouldn't get mad, they just would have sad; ok, you don't wanna see it, then were done. That's it, easy as that. If they start cursing you for not agreeing or seeing it, it is because, they need you to see it, no matter truth or not. I don't say, you were right in your arguments, but they weren't right in talking in such a harsh manner. Which is worse.
2563 And the servants of the Almighty who walk on the Earth in humility and if the ignorant speak to them, they Say "Peace."

Peace arnoldyasin. I appreciate your post. I feel there is a lot of truth in your assessment of why we get 'upset' with other peoples views when discussing...Is it because we are frustrated that the other person wont see the truth,or because they dont agree with what we believe?...(even though we could be wrong or mistaken in our beliefs...) Also if the other person is generally a peaceful person and trying to practically conduct his life morally, then is there any point discussing in a way that can create ill-feelings or dogmatism between two normally peaceful people?
I think we should generally try to be just and peaceful with people regardless of their labels or beliefs...and try not to let our ego (or the satan.) interfere in our quest for peace, tolerance and understanding...I think behaviour and intentions are the 'truest' reflections of 'good',rational beliefs....
Peace all. -

Its not my EGO.
If somebody criticizes me then its tolerable.
If somebody criticizes our Book or Prophet or our Lord, then I will be certainly Angry on that. No matter I show my anger or not.VE

God doesn't say, that you don't have the right to get mad or not, because it is your right. He only gives advise about showing it or not........That's all..........

Peace virtualeye. How do you think the prophet would deal with people who;
a) asked 'tough',but worthy 'questions' to him...
b) people who criticised his religion and him...
Peace all. Thank you in advance. -

Peace all. Thank you in advance.I like tough and worthy question which has some base and some homework.
I catch fire upon baseless lie or abuse. (no matter I am doing right or wrong).
I am not as Merciful and as Wise and as Great as He is.
So I might not be as tolerant.

Peace virtualeye. Im sure there is a hadith stating that; 'the strong man is not the one who wrestles or overcomes people...,but the strong one is the one who controls his temper.'..
Im sure some hadith also state if one is angry they should first sit down to calm themselves, then lie down,or even do 'wudhu'...
Also i read that the greater 'jihad' is to control ones own 'nafs'...
Remember the story of ali not hurting the man who spat in his face, because he felt he would hurt that man for his own 'nafs' and not for the sake of allah...
Remeber the city of 'taif' when the people pelted the prophet with stones in response to his message.......when allah sent an angel to ask if he wanted these people punished,he stated no..
Did the prophet ever 'approve' of 'harsh' speech?
Correct me if i am wrong...
Peace all. Ps; i am not just criticising you personally,im trying to find out,and understand your views on these points.
