I'm aginest Female carying Messangers Mission, espacially The Kabba Mission. But the other Bilal ) yes!
Salam Belalhammad,
Why would you be against a female prophet?
God did not forbid it nor said that he would not send a female as a prophet, so one should be open to the possibility.I see no reason to believe that only men are allowed to be prophets. In fact there have been many male and female prophets through out history.
There are several women that are specifically called prophetess in previous scripture
Miriam(Exodus 1520)
Deborah(Judges 44)
Huldah(II Kings 2214)(II Chronicles 3422)
Noadiah(Nehemiah 614)
Anna(Luke 236)The following are women who communicated with God in some way and some regard them as prophetesses as well (although they are not specifically called "prophetess" in the texts)
Sarah, Hannah (mother of the prophet Samuel), Abigail (a wife of King David), Huldah, Esther, Mary (mother of Isa), Mary Magdalen
and many others. peaceFurthermore, not only have women been prophets but also
young children and the old,
the poor, and the rich,
those who are orphans, and those with large families,
the weak, and the strong,
the oppressed, and Great Rulers,
and women, and menDo you see a pattern here? People from all walks of life with different abilities and limitations have been chosen for prophet hood. Women are not excluded.
Salam,
Arnab -
Any proof??
I cannot find that verse in Quran that says that the jews used to kill their messengers...

Salam Belalhammad,
Why would you be against a female prophet?
Peace all;
sorry, for not replying quick.Arnab, you know me very well, I never have a choice to have my own opinion in Quran.
Communicating with God is something and being a Messanger of God is completly different. Being a Messanger was never been easy, eccept for King Daivd and Salmon. Messangers, as quran tell us, are people whom God ordered to deliever certain Message to very very Mad people. Such Mad people, as we know from Quran, did not accept the Message nor wolcomed the Messangers; they killed some of them and tortuered the others.
Therefore, I believe that verse 6-9 is telling us that Messangers are Rajuls--Males.Salaam Belalhammad,
You would be surprised if I was to tell you that I am one of those women who have stood up against wrong and have suffered injustice at the hands of the very people who advocate women's rights, human rights and the rights of minorities and, so far I have not come across men who dared to risk their wordly dellights for the truth.
So no I am not really proteced behind my computer but ALlah has been my protector. If something happens to me, as a result of my being outspoken against wrong, then do not think that I was not protected, but it was wrtten for me.peace
Peace Farida,
If a Female chosses to confront Angry and Mad Sunies (Like Talaban or Wahabi) or Shias, then God be with her. But Messangers are people who had no choice but to deliever the Message, because God ordered them to do so; please read the story of Moses, for example, and how he was so affraied to confront the Egyptian King.
And as far as the computer comment, I was jocking with youPeace,
But wasn't many of the messengers killed?
Maria
Yes; 3-112 & 5-70 & 2-61 & 3-21
Peace Belalhammad,
The prophets and messengers of old did these things because God was supporting them, as He does with all of His messengers. So, a female prophet or messenger WOULD absolutely be able to do this. God is the controller of all events, and He has predetermined all things. God is surely capable to protecting His servants from angry crowds and blasphemers, whether male or female, just like He has done throughout history.
Peace Ahmad,
I agree with you that God can do any thing he wishes; but 6-9 is a very well-established guide for believers. It says if God would to send a Messangers, He would be a Man (Rajul). Now if you want to debate the meaning of Rajul, then let us focus on doing so, without bringing other issues.
What is your proof?
Peace -

What is your proof? The proof is the language of the Quran, as well as basic translation. In Arabic, when it comes to God and His messengers, "HE" (or "HIM" does not always refer to a male because God is neither male or female. Likewise, humanity itself is called "MANkind", but this doesn't mean all humans are MALE. Also, the context of the scripture emphasizes what it was relaying. According to the Quran, in the preceding passage
And they said, "If only an angel was descended to him." And if We descended an angel, the matter would have been ended, then they would not be respited. (6
The scripture was speaking about an angel coming down TO Mohammed as proof of the message's divinity. That's why the following passage says
And if We made him an angel, We would have made him a man, We would have dressed on him in what they dress. (69)
This covering (or "dress" is often interpreted to refer to a state of confusion, but the angel was not talking about the messenger. It was speaking about an angel being sent in the form of a man to SHOW PROOF of the prophet's divine scripture. It doesn't say anything about the messengers themselves having to be males. It only speaks of the angel being descended in the form of a RAJUL (man). So, even if the scripture is only referring exclusively to males (hypothetically), it's still not saying that the messengers themselves must be males. God is able to send whoever He chooses to deliver His message...
Peace,
Ahmad

The following is a very well-established that Messangers were all Males
(
Nor did We send before thee (as Messengers) any but men, whom We did inspire living in human habitations. Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those before them? But the home of the Hereafter is best, for those who do right. Will ye not then understand? (12-109)
I hope that verse is enough for us to agree.

Hmmm... That is a very interesting verse that you pointed out (12109). I've read that passage many times, but I've never seen it as an identifier of males and females... It definately appears that you are correct - all the previous messengers were MEN (males). And since, in this verse, the message is directed towards Mohammed himself, this means that women before Mohammed's time who were blessed by God (i.e. Maryam, Anna, Deborah, Huldah, etc.) were NOT considered messengers. So, even though God can choose whomever He chooses to carry His message, I'd have to agree that it is VERY UNLIKELY that He would send a female messenger today. I appreciate the correction, and God is knowledgeable of all things... handshake

PeaceSalam,
With all due respect I still disagree that rajul can be translated exclusively as men.
Salam,
Arnab -
Peace Ahmad, everyone,
Rajul is one who goes out on foot i.e. the breadwinner, and can be both male or female. It could also refer to an independent female who supports herself by going out on foot to earn the money for herself through an independent job or business.
From PRL http//www.studyquran.co.uk/PRLonline.htm
Ra-Jiim-Lam = to go on foot, urge with foot, walk, tie by the feet, let (a female) suckle her young, be curly (hair), set free with his mother. rajjala - to comfort anyone, comb the hair, grant a respite. tarajjala - to go down without rope. rijlatun - vigour in walking. rijlun - foot, soldiers, good walker, tramp. arajil - hunters, pedestrian. rajulun - male human being, man, a person with heir. rajilun - foot, footmen (slow walkers). rijlain - two feet. arjul (pl.) - feet.
Please go through the following thread where this is being discussed

ArnabSalam Arnab and Truthseeker
The following is a very well established verse that shows the established meaning of Rajul
(
"For ye practise your lusts on men in preference to women ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds." (7-81)Please, let me know if I missunderstand the above verse.
Peace -
Peace Belal,
When did I say that "rajul" cannot mean man? All I am saying is it can also include those women who go out on foot to earn their livelihood and independently support themselves.
Now, if in a particular society at a particular time all breadwinners happen to be men, then rajul will still mean breadwinner but will refer to men only. Maybe the community of Lot was such a community where all breadwinners (or overwhelming majority of them) happened to be men.

Did you read in Quran or Bible or Torah about a Female who was ordered to deliever a Messange to her community or who recieved a Book from God? if not, then you need to accept 12-109 as a clear guidence that Messangers were Males

- The majority of those who believe in GOD
do not do so without committing idol worship.
1400 years ago not many were able to read Quran , majority of God encompasses whole world not local place that book revealed. Majority that many can witness it on this screen 107. Have they guaranteed that an overwhelming retribution
from GOD will not strike them,
or the Hour will not come to them
suddenly, when they least expect it?
There has not been such new media facilities in human history that in seconds majority can be aware of incident happens around the world. Which may take a lesson. - Say, "This is my path
I invite to GOD, on the basis
of a clear proof, and so do those
who follow me. GOD be glorified.
I am not an idol worshiper."
Here I see that messenger saying my Path
God Alone ,Quran Alone.
This messenger invitation is based on clear proof right away on this screen for whole world not only those could read Arabic.
And i agree that this screen would be the presentaion of such guidance. - We did not send before you
except men whom we inspired,
chosen from the people of various
communities. Did they not roam the
earth and see the consequences
for those before them? The abode
of the Hereafter is far better
for those who lead a righteous life.
Would you then understand?
Here clearly God talks to women when he reminds that all messengers before her was Men.
- Just when the messengers despair,
and think that they had been
rejected, our victory comes to them.
We then save whomever we choose,
while our retribution for the guilty people is unavoidable. - In their history, there is a lesson
for those who possess intelligence.
This is not fabricated Hadith;
this (Quran) confirms all previous scriptures,
provides the details of everything, and is
a beacon and mercy for those who believe.
This verse is in process and explains present time when clearly rejects Fabricated Hadith
Hadith was fabricated many years after prophet .
And then Quran could not confirm pervious scripture without having proof for itself. Now we have it and that is clear proof.
GW we should expect a female messenger with clear proof for first time when women are well educated and have access to this screen
GW this messenger would have great impact on today world women and guide them to the path which their children will be REAL MUSLIM 319 understanding messages by themselves not following their parents.
Praise be to God .
I do not see name of prophet in those messages .
Peace
Bahman
Peace.
