The same bad relation between the Quran and the Bible is also found between the NT and the OT.

Ofcourse that takes the Quran deeper into the abyss.

Lets read a very bizzare verse

2144 We see the shifting of thy face towards the sky; We will thus set for you a focal point that will be pleasing to you "You shall set yourself towards the Restricted Temple; and wherever you may be, you shall all set yourselves towards it." Those who have been given the Scripture know it is the truth from their Lord. And God is not unaware of what you do.

First, what is the Restricted Temple?

The people of the Book doesn't acknowledge any temple in Arabia!

Jerusalem had no temple at the time.

And how da heck can you set yourself to the temple continuously?

      What the hell??? brickwall

      nope

What makes you think that the authenticity of the Quran is dependant on it's similarity to the Torah and the OT?
Are you a Jew or a Muslim?

          Peace

I am no longer a Sunna-rejecter. See 4:59-65, 62:2-4, 3:31, 4:156, 7:157 Messenger teaches and is to be followed and obeyed. Examples of revelation received which is not in the Qur'an: 3:123-126, 33:37, 2:187, 66:3, 62:9.

Do you have any other Torah?? So when the Quran says Torah, what does it mean?

The Greek Septaguint is proof that the Torah we have today is the one they had even before Mohammed by 600 years.

Muslims are not bound to follow "Torah" because it was book of guidance only to "Bani Israeel".

But the Quran states people of the Book will readily believe in the Quran if they are righteous. But in reality, the opposite is true, if you believe in the Torah, you will never believe in the Quran.

Thats another nail in the coffin.

                Peace.

                  What is the Quran exactly?

The Quran is the Arabic recitation of the Book that was given to Moses to teach the people of the House the Scritpure and Wisdom. These people included some Israelites, one of them is the orphaned Mohammed.

The people of the Book, knowing both Arabic and the foreign language of the Book that was given to Moses, will recognize that the Arabic recitation bear incredible resemblance to the Book they study and so believe in it.

So you can say that the Quran is the Divine Rabba of the Mosaic teachings.

Thats why it judges between the Israelites.

The Muslim position is indefensible. The Quran has lots of outrageous claims. I mean everything in the Quran is WEIRD.

Now Jesus is the Messiah son of the Virgin Mary which is a sister of Aaron who is the brother of Moses son of Amram but most importantly he is not the son of God. Not even Ezra btw.

Dude, this guy doesnt even know what he's talking about. He hates Jesus and Mary, etc. I bet that guy cant even explain/defend his racist Tanakh and Talmud stories.

                      ???

Did you know that Tanakh and Talmud is man-made (Maybe Tanakh has a little bit of credibility, but Talmud is a total racist fabrication).

                      1. Evidence if this is true from the Quran
                      2. Evidence if it contradicts the Torah or OT or Talmud, etc.
                      3. Who cares if it does?

1928 O sister of Aaron, your father was not a bad man, and your mother was never unchaste!

Exd 1520 And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.

This means Jesus lived at the time of the Moses so Jesus is Joshua son of Nun the deliverer of Israel.

Sister and brother do not necessarily mean blood relation. They can also mean people/things of similar behaviour or belief. Examples
                                  1727

Lo! the squanderers were ever brothers of the devils, and the devil was ever an ingrate to his Lord.

                                  4910

The believers are naught else than brothers. Therefore make peace between your brethren and observe your duty to Allah that haply ye may obtain mercy.

                                  4348

And every token that We showed them was greater than its sister (token), and We grasped them with the torment, that haply they might turn again.

                                  738

He saith Enter into the Fire among nations of the jinn and humankind who passed away before you. Every time a nation entereth, it curseth its sister (nation) till, when they have all been made to follow one another thither, the last of them saith unto the first of them Our Lord! These led us astray, so give them double torment of the Fire. He saith For each one there is double (torment), but ye know not.

Moreover, the qur'aan mentioned the "aal 3imraan" extensively as well as the story of Moses, but it never mentioned the family of Moses. It mentioned his mother but not his father.

To understand the meaning of "sister of Aaron" we have to find what Aaron did that merited the approval of these people. Remember the story of the calf when Aaron did not stop them for fear of "loss of unity"? This is what they expected Mary to continue doing. She refused to marry according to the costums or traditions, but then she did, and they were blaming her and reminding her that she was expected to preserve the customs (sign of unity) just like "her brother" Aaron.

Very anemic argument. Look at the following verse

"That your sister should follow, and Say "Shall I guide you to a person who will nurse him" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that she may be pleased and not be sad. And you killed a person, but We saved you from harm and We tested you greatly. So it was that you stayed with the people of Median for many years, then you came here by fate O Moses."

When it is a one to one relation, it is literal. What do you think of this sister above, is she his sister or someone with a similar status?

Very anemic argument. Look at the following verse

"That your sister should follow, and Say "Shall I guide you to a person who will nurse him" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that she may be pleased and not be sad. And you killed a person, but We saved you from harm and We tested you greatly. So it was that you stayed with the people of Median for many years, then you came here by fate O Moses."

When it is a one to one relation, it is literal. What do you think of this sister above, is she his sister or someone with a similar status?

                                      Very anemic comprehension

Sister and brother do not necessarily mean blood relation.

And why are you so conservative about it, you don't acknowledge the biblical narrative anyway. So maybe the Quranic Mary had a brother named Aaron and the family of Amram has nothing to do with Moses.

If I didn't believe in the Quran, I wouldn't have had any trouble. elektro

1928 ?O sister of Aaron, your father was not a bad man, and your mother was never unchaste!?

Exd 1520 And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.

This means Jesus lived at the time of the Moses so Jesus is Joshua son of Nun the deliverer of Israel.

In the Quran, Mary's story begins while she is still in her mother's womb. The mother of Mary, said "O my Lord! I do dedicate into Thee what is in my womb for Thy special service So accept this of me For Thou hearest and knowest all things." (Quran 335).

337 So her Lord (All?h) accepted her with goodly acceptance. He made her grow in a good manner and put her under the care of Zakariy? (Zachariya). Every time he entered Al-Mihr?b to (visit) her , he found her supplied with sustenance. He said "O Maryam (Mary)! From where have you got this?" She said, "This is from All?h." Verily, All?h provides sustenance to whom He wills, without limit

Although his wife was barren and he was very old, God blesses Zacharias and his wife Elizabeth with John. John is known as "John the Baptist" in the Bible. Zacharias was skeptical after the angels announced John's birth. The response to his skepticism was "Doth God accomplish what He willeth" (Quran 340). John would become a noble and chaste Prophet as the angels had stated (Quran 339).

339 Then the angels called him, while he was standing in prayer in Al-Mihr?b (a praying place or a private room), (saying) "All?h gives you glad tidings of Yahya (John), confirming (believing in) the Word from All?h , noble, keeping away from sexual relations with women, a Prophet, from among the righteous

340 He said "O my Lord! How can I have a son when I am very old, and my wife is barren?" All?h said "Thus All?h does what He wills."

(Quran 1916-17). After seeing the angel, she said "I seek refuge from thee to (God) Most Gracious (come not near) if thou dost fear God." (Quran 191. The angel Gabriel responded "Nay, I am only a messenger from thy Lord, (to announce) to thee the gift of a pure son." (Quran 1919). Her next response is expected. She asked "How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?" (Quran 1920). The Angel said "So (it will be) thy Lord saith, 'That is easy for Me and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men and a Mercy from Us.' It is a matter (so) decreed." (Quran 1921). Mary then becomes pregnant.

                                          peace
