Much of the New Testament was written in Greek many years after Jesus had died. Both testaments have been translated into ancient Greek, Latin then old English then more modern English, played around with by the Vatican and various Bishops, Popes and Kings etc.

Many books and Gospels (Gospels according to Thomas and Paul are just two) were left out of our modern New Testament because they did not fit in with the teachings of the old Catholic church.

To be fair on the Catholic Church, the reason the Infancy Gospel of Thomas was left out might not have anything to do with misogyny (aka the 'Da Vinci Code&#039, and more to do with that gospel portraying the infant Jesus as smiting his fellow children. It's not the kind of thing you'd want in a civilised religious text.

rotfl Yes I agree. But if they are going to go around and say that the NT is the truth, then why not add all of it?

It's the annoying habit of some people to not bother translating some Arabic words from the Quran which have plainly obvious English equivalents. Injil is the arabised version of the Greek word evangelion. Gospel is from old English, and has exactly the same meaning.

That is actually the demise of the Quran.

                            what?

How can you judge by the Good News???

You can only judge by the Torah.

The Recitation(Quran) is calling the People of the Good News(Injil) to judge by it.

Does this make sense to you??????

The Gospels are writings preaching pagan astrology and the advent of God's kingdom.

                            Peace,

Even if the Quran is false, I will still believe in it.

It is very noble, it is an honor to be called delusional for it.

The righteous deeds will not go to waste.

The criminals will pay for their crimes.

Let's look at some of the miracles

                                          "day" is mentioned 365 times
                                          "month" is mentioned 12 times
                                          "days" 30 times

                                          "land" 15 times
                                          "sea" 32 times

                                          15+32=45

                                          15/45= 28.89
                                          32/45= 71.11

THE EXACT RATION OF LAND TO SEA!
