Wow, I really don?t know where you get your information sir. Have a look at this
http//www.islam-qa.com/en/ref/10061/not%20praying
He who does not pray is DEFINITELY a kafir.
You're receiving your information from some false sources or something, buddy. According to the doctrines of Sunni Islaam, a person becomes a Muslim by publicly reciting the shahaada/kaliyma (i.e. "La ilaaha illa Allah wa Muhammad al rasuwl Allah". After that, nobody can declare you a "kafir", or otherwise they place themselves outside the fold of Islaam. The only Judge is Allah...
It is reported on the authority of Ibn `Umar that the Prophet (may peace and blessings be upon him) said Any person who calls his brother O Unbeliever! (then the truth of this label) would return to one of them. If it is true, (then it is) as he asserted, (but if it is not true), then it returns to him (and thus the person who made the accusation is an Unbeliever).
http//www.themodernreligion.com/ugly/kafr.htmlOh you took a poll did you? Well done! Can I see the results of your poll or shall I believe in it blindly?
Another ridiculous argument... ) I don't have to take a poll in order to see what the majority are posting concerning other groups and their beliefs. It simply takes an observant reader...
Yes, dua can be in any language. The Salat ritual prayer is done in Arabic because it was adopted from the pre-Muhammadan rituals. If its only for recitation of the Quran, then why is one of the pillars of salat the last tahiyah which MUST be said in Arabic?
The salaat is based on a reading from the Qur'aan. Certain Sunnis don't even consider the "tahiya" to be obligatory, but those who perform it do so in Arabic simply because the rest of the salaat is in Arabic. If the salaat was in English, then the "tahiya" would also be in English.
Lol, nonsense dude. One thing I would never accuse FM of is this type of sunni-ish behaviour. Maybe in a generation or two, certainly not now.
If you say so... -\

The best thing you can advise him to do is to pray. It is essential for him to understand that not praying is kufr that puts one beyond the pale of Islam, and that if he dies when he is not praying then he will have died a death of Jaahiliyyah, and will have died as an apostate

i heard that a person can't recite the shahada until they first learn how to pray and rest of pillars... because if they said the shahada and didn't know how to pray, they'd be muslims who don't pray and that's not good, so they first need to learn how to do things, then say it and officially enter this exclusive club
'sect' noun
/sekt/ n usually disapproving
a religious group which has developed from a larger religion and is considered to have extreme or unusual beliefs or customssect (skt)
n.- A group of people forming a distinct unit within a larger group by virtue of certain refinements or distinctions of belief or practice.
- A religious body, especially one that has separated from a larger denomination.
- A faction united by common interests or beliefs.
we technically can't be considered a 'sect' as sects come from something else... and we were here first... first there was the quranic mesage, then hadith and everything else... they came from us

I'm not a Quran aloner, but I'm not a sunni or shia either. What am I ???

When Hz. Abu Bakr became the first Caliph, he wrote a letter to certain apostate tribes, explaining how he became a Muslim
"I praise the true God, besides whom there is none to be worshipped. I declare that Allah is One, without partner, and Muhammad is His servant and messenger. We affirm the message of Allah which he brought us. He who denies it, is a kafir." (Tarikh Tabari, Urdu translation, vol. i, part iv, p. 3"He who says, 'There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is His messenger', with the tongue but does not confirm it in his heart, there is no doubt that in the Hereafter he shall be included among the unbelievers, and shall enter hell. But there is also no doubt that, so far as affairs of this world are concerned, the religious and secular authorities shall include him among the Muslims because it is not known what is in his heart, and we are obliged to accept what is on his tongue." (Ihya al-Ulum, p. 97)
"And the Holy Prophet said 'Three things are the basis of our faith he who says the Kalima with his tongue, do not call him kafir, for any sin, nor expel him from Islam for any misconduct'." (Hujjat-ullah al-Baligha, vol. i, ch. The second type of belief, p. 322)
"It is written that if an atheist, or an idol worshipper, or one who believes in gods besides the One God, were to merely say, There is no god but Allah, he enters Islam. Or if he were to say, I believe Muhammad to be the messenger of God, he enters Islam. This is because the deniers of Islam refrain from saying these two formulae. Hence if he were to declare even one of these two commandments, he would be taken out of the category called non-Muslim, and would be considered as a Muslim." (Lisan al-Hukam, p. 204)
"He who wishes to be from among the community of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, must say with his tongue, There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, and affirm its meaning in his heart. He is then a Muslim, even though he may not know about the duties and prohibitions." (p. 34 of the edition published by Da'irat al-Mu`arif of Egypt)
"Abu Bakr said O messenger of Allah, what is salvation? The Holy Prophet said He who accepts the Kalima which I put before my uncle , but which he rejected, that is the means of salvation." (Mishkat al-Masabih, Book of Faith, ch. 1, sec. 3)
"It is related from Abu Salama that his mother had expressed a dying wish that a Muslim slave-girl should be freed on her behalf. So he asked the Holy Prophet about it and wondered if he should set free a black slave-girl from the city of Nobiyya whom he owned. The Holy Prophet said Bring her here. When she came, he said to her Who is your Lord? She said Allah. He said Who am I? She said The messenger of Allah. He said Go and free her, she is a believer." (Tarjuman al-Sunna, vol. ii, p. 12
"Anas reported that the Holy Prophet said There is no one who testifies truly from his heart that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, but Allah prohibits for him the fire of hell." (Mishkat al-Masabih, Book of Faith, ch. 1, sec. 1)

Are brainless like 19ers and Khalafites who have rejected two verses of the Quran ?
Do not turn your face away from people in contempt, nor go about in the land exultingly. (Q. 311
The believers are brethren, so make peace between your brethren... Do not find fault with your own people, nor call one another by (bad) nick?names. (Q. 4910-12)
Call (others) to the way of your Lord with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and argue with them in the best manner. (Q. 16125)
Speak good words to all people. (Q. 283)
You are showing yourself to be worse than those whom you reject (i.e. Dr. Rashad Khalifa and the "International Submitters"... Allah is the Best of judges, and He will judge equitably...

That's incorrect. See my reply up above; there are hadiyths stating that a person is to be declared a Muslim upon reciting the kaliyma, even if they don't know how to pray, perform salaat, or know about any of the Islaamic rituals... For example

I went specifically to islam-qa because their fatawa are issued by licensed, qualified, real scholars who are supervised by Shiekh Al-Munajjid. Clearly you don?t know how sunnism works.

http//www.themodernreligion.com/ugly/kafr.htmlSunnis not take hadith ?raw? unless it suits them. They need their priests to tell them what to do. You quoting this to them won?t mean a thing unless their priest ok?s it.

Well, if YOU?RE observant (and quoted aaill.info as a SUNNI source), then I?m a monkey?s uncle.

Again, nonsense. Consult ?authentic prayer of the prophet? by Shiekh Nasiruddin Al-Albanee and you will see all the pillars of salat. This is confirmed by the 4 madhabib. One of the 13 pillars is the last tahiya. But you can continue living in your delusions if it helps.

It's no big deal. Sunnis have been doing it for centuries. Have you heard of the verse of stoning? According to hadith, there used to be a AYAH to stone but it was somehow lost (but NOT abrogated). So sunnis admit it themselves, they were CARELESS with Quran. RK at least had his code, lol .

RegardsBeing a muslim or a mumin has nothing to do with accepting the quran. Both have to do with one's internal and external states. The Quran is simply the map. You can find your way without the map. The map just makes life easier.

Huh, that?s how you read 3/84?!
Firstly, there are no BOOKS mentioned. Secondly, it commands us to say we BELIEVE and THEN to say we are muslim to God. It never says this is a prerequisite to becoming muslim.
Becoming muslim has nothing to do with iman. Have a look at 49/14, a?raabu were told say ?we are muslim? BEFORE iman enters their hearts.

Please quote Rashad Khalifa's statement on this. I want to see exactly where he said the words, "The Qur'aan is a liar..." or "I reject the Qur'aan, and it is false..." Do you have any proof of this claim, or are you speaking unverifiable nonsense?

RegardsAt this point, I would ask for evidence but I know you don't have any. Keep hiding behind your made up grammar rules, Q-student. Even though your interpretations contradict the Quran.

Well, tell us all how Sunnism works, since you're so knowledgeable... By the way, I can see that YOU don't know how Sunnism works because you keep catagorizing Sunnis as some sort of huge orthodox sect. As I already mentioned several times, Sunni Islaam has several branches within it, and the members of the separate groups don't all believe and practice the same things, nor do they always have the same interpretations of certain Qur'aanic verses and hadiyths... I guess you're not such a good reader, eh?

What does this have to do with the language of the salaat?
The prayers of Muhammad (according to the sunna) did NOT always include "tahiya", which is why most Sunnis refer to it as optional. In fact, the commonly practiced prayer among Sunnis, "Tahiyaatul Maasjid", is always considered optional, NOT OBLIGATORY... Maybe, instead of studying books and reading websites, you need to get off your computer, walk into a Sunni mosque, and ask them how they conduct themselves and what they believe. From posting what you read on these websites and in these books, you sound like you have no idea what you're talking about, and any Sunni reading this site would call you an idiot for posting most of the things you're posting about them... nope
