about the ending of the salaah " why assalaam"
Is it not true that when we pray( salaah)
we are in cofersation only with ALLAAH so
how can we end the prayer by saying
" may ALLAAH s peace and blessings
be opon you " it does not sound right
to end a prayer like that

PLEASE help me clear out this confusen.Well, why you are praying there could be people in the room and when you are done with the prayer you greet them by saying Salamun Alaykum. Especially, if you are praying together with others, then after you are done you start communicating with each other by greeting each other. Knowing how hearsay reports distorts, exaggerates, overgeneralizes facts, I can envision the scenario.
PS Personally, I do not find much problem with finishing my prayers by greeting both sides. Occasionally, I talk to bugs and flowers. So, this could be counted as my declaration of peace to the world around me
As for the traditional explanation by angels, I do not think I have angels sitting on my shoulders.
Peace,

EdipDear brother Edip,
Your are rather too superficial, vague and evasive, my question is can you end the salat without making a salama? The god made it incumbent on us to reply to greetings if find the necessity to greet the bugs and flowers do they reply to you or are they disobeying the god? if they can not reply to your salama then who is a fool? -
Dear Kaamil,
I never criticized you or any other person for not greeting in the end of their prayer. But, as I said before, I do not find any violation of Quranic principle or rule by greeting people or things around in the end of the prayer.
You appear to be itching for a fight because I found no problem in greeting the world around me! I prefer talking to walls than debating issues with people who are eager to fight over formalistic details.
Your prayer is for you and mine is for me ;DPeace,
Edip -
Now now boys, lets keep the peace, I am sure you are both right. Whats in the heart is what really matters. ;D
Don't worry friend. If I wanted to fight over something, this issue would not even appear in the end of my list of, say, 2147 issues. group
As it appears that I have missed answering my friend's question claiming bug's or flower's inability to respond to my greetings ) Well, they do respond, my friend. If I approach to a flower with peace and add a bit water to it, the flower flourishes and provides me with beautiful colors and scents. Some bugs too would not bug me if I greet them nicely. I am never struck by a bee, perhaps because I greet them and treat them with peace. They usually hit those who wave their hands in hostile manner.
Besides, I never hit a wall by accident when I greeted it and acknowledged its presence. ;D
So, everything responds to my greetings of peace, mostly in the same way or better.
Peace,
Edip -

Forgive and pardon me if I appear rather too serious in my post. There is no need to fight and fighting has to do with something very physical and you do not fight with somebody you cannot see or touch. Rather than itching for a fight I am rather itching for the truth.
The question is one that seeks clarity for future action of the questioner. That is why I believe a direct and straight forward answer from you would have been appropriate.
Greetings are part of our every day life. We necessarily greet but not to walls, flowers and bugs.
Very seriously I still need your answer to this question; can we by any circumstances end our salat without a salama? Please yes or no?
Thanks, Kaamil. -

Thanks, Kaamil. In my opinion I'd say yes. But there is no harm in saying salam.

Selam Edip
Its funny you should say that. My mum regularly talks to her plants and says plants like that. This is probably why she has green fingers as to speak, many plants blossom with her care. She also talks to animals and loves nature. Well she was a village born person, who is now living in the city which she hates. Always talks about the village, her animals, her plants etc...
Peace
Hope

Quran about this issue ???I did not miss the point, since greeting is the ENDING of the prayer. If such a greeting was in the middle of prayer, your question would be justified. I think it is very appropriate since you end your communication with your Creator and come back communicating with the the creation.

According the Quran the last messenger is/was rashad khalifa
GOD took a covenant from the prophets, saying, "I will give you the scripture and wisdom. Afterwards, a messenger will come to confirm all existing scriptures. You shall believe in him and support him." He said, "Do you agree with this, and pledge to fulfill this covenant?" They said, "We agree." He said, "You have thus borne witness, and I bear witness along with you."
381 clearly say that rashad came afterwards...
Recall that we took from the prophets their covenant, including you (O Muhammad), Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary. We took from them a solemn pledge.337 proofs that muhammad was not the last messenger .....
Those hoe don't believe the messengers of GOD might be in trouble on the day of reconing...
