O ye who believe ! ask not about things which, if revealed to you, would cause you trouble, though if you ask about them while the Qur'an is being sent down they will be revealed to you. ALLAH has left them out on purpose. And ALLAH is Most Forgiving and Forbearing.

O you who believe! do not put questions about things which if declared to you may trouble you, and if you question about them when the Quran is being revealed, they shall be declared to you; Allah pardons this, and Allah is Forgiving, Forbearing.

O true believers, inquire not concerning things, which, if they be declared unto you, may give you pain; but if ye ask concerning them when the Koran is sent down, they will be declared unto you God pardoneth you as to these matters; for God is ready to forgive, and gracious.

And the prohibition is still valid even though God has stopped talking to man since ages!?

There is nothing to question. The religion has been perfected for us and chosen for us by Allah SWT Himself.
53 Forbidden to you (for food) are dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah. that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
Can't be that difficult to understand the above ayat. Unless of course you want me to use Lane's Lexicon Dictionary, just like everyone else at PM and then come up with some ridiculously far fetched story as the basis for my understanding pretending to know it all but in reality not knowing my left from my right or shall I say, not knowing my face from my a@@@!
Peace

From my understanding, if the message reaches you clearly, Yes. You can't be Judged on what you don't know.

what I stated in my post is not hadith, it is a verse translated (in english) by many different translators.

Absolutely, people in this forum can't understand this situation in Islam.

So, the religion is perfected, I'm wondering why people ask questions(especially here in this forum)? phobia of answers lol.

Maybe for you, 'this day' refer to today? O0
In fact, if you have raised in Christian family/community, you might also died in Christianity since you forbid yourself from questioning...
Islam has the answers, doesn't it?

PeaceWhat nonsense, the muhaditheen don't even agree on who a sahaba is! They cant even tell you what ijma' is! They don't even know how many ayat are mansukh!

Dear thereformer1
The comment in question was addressed to all the PM heretics who tend to interperate the Quran as they want and do not follow the Prophet PBUH in line with what Allah SWT has clearly ordered. These are the people that believe the Prophet PBUH was only a postman that didn't understand the Quran because his job was only to deliver and he never judged between his people.
They also believe that the current salaat, saum, zakat and hajj are all wrong. But when asked about how it should be done, they state that there is no concept of salaat because it doesn't mean prayer so do not prayer or do it how you like, even if it means standing on one leg arms spread out left eye closed facing the t.v. while MTV is blasting at full volume, it is ok. Saum is not obligatory. You can give if you want because zakat does not mean charity and hajj should be in Jerusalem because Kaabah, Safa, Marwah and Arafat do not really exist and the current Hajj is all manmade.
Saying that all Hadith are a load of rubbish so should be rejected in full is one thing, but then stating that everything the majority of Muslims have been taught and what they practice for the last 1400 years is also wrong, so give it all up, is another.
If you want to confirm what I'm saying, just ask them the concept of Salaat, Saum, Zakat and Hajj and see what response you will get back. Better still, ask them what are the fundamentals of Islam, is there any jurispudence, are there any laws, rules and regulations, should there be consensus and see what you get back.
Peace

well, try to visit my profile and read some posts of mine and you'll find where I raised .
Islam has the answers, doesn't it?
you shouldn't question . I know Islam better than you and questions are not allowed just in "" Akida, your questions should be under things will serve you not under things will make you in a state of confusion.

PeaceI already did ask them about the concepts, and you're right, you didn't read my topics, they have denied everything I've said and I have explained them lots of things and it was like pouting water in sand.
Yes, I understand you, and I have one comment about who deny the concept of salaat or the other things, that he is just want to be like christian or jewish .

P.S your nickname is so ridiculous "abdalquran" we don't worship Quran, we worship God not his book.

But they love citing it when they are in lack of solid arguments. ;D
I think you're looking for another war muscle
your post is an insult .
ok so you have solid arguments ? show us Miss Einstein ?

questions are not allowed just in "" Akida
o
Of course questioning is allowed, in fact it is a must. If you don't question things, you become a robot who just believes whatever any authority is telling him. The Qur'an repeatedly reminds us not to do that.
I think you're looking for another war muscle
your post is an insult .
I am not looking for a war with anyone, and I reject your use of that sort of vocabulary.
My post is an insult? To whom? I was simply stating a fact. I'm an avid reader of fatawa, and I noticed that the less arguments (either from Qur'an or ahadeeth) the scholars can bring, the more they resort to expressions like "by the consensus of the scholars" / "all scholars ananimously agree on that" etc. It's a fact anyone can check for themselves.

so you know what ayat mansukh means, I doubt ???? what about Nassekh ? or what about Motashabih?
Mansukh=abrogated. Nasikh = abrogator. Motashabih = similar (but some say 'allegorical). Doesn't matter though because NONE of these things have agreement. You guys don't even know which is which. Some of your mufassiroon say ayat as-saif (9/5) abrogates over A HUNDRED other ayat. It's all a big game to you guys.
Sunnism= mass of facts designed to keep people in the right path.
and if you can't do that, KILL those who try to leave.
