Therefore, a woman who thinks she has found it, -because at the beginning the vampiristic man usually is charming till he conquers (right conquers, you don't know it yet but that is what it is) you- will find it vry difficult to realize and accept that it wwas a mirage, that she was stupid and cheated. When you are already married and settled in your conviction that you have found hapinnes, the vampire plot starts to unfold. It is very subtle, very gradual, no change from one day to the next, but slowly he starts sapping your self steem, critical words start cropping up here and there, gradually the screw tightens, to the point that any word is a critique, when the blows come, you are already conviced that you are a nullity, that you are not sufficiently grateful for the great and good man you have landed. Years of manipulation day after day can work wonders for the destruction of a person, male or female.
Women actually get out of that, but easy it is not, and they need help and not criticism like calling them idiots y telling them that it is their fault. Of course, when it comes to that, what happens is that the men threaten them with life and even the life of their children. So that terror (there you have real terrorism) takes the relay of manipulation. Then those women must be helped. They can resist but they need help, somebody who really stands by them to face the "valiant" and somebody who reassures them that he won't do shit, because he is a plain and household coward, who won't dare do anything in front of witnesses or if he risks not getting unscathed.
Also why wouldn't those men get away with it. Today's world teaches us that shows of stength bring sucess. Why should it work in Palestine and Iraq and not in the household?
Also being a battered wife is socially repellent. Today's society worships success. Flashing and successful women and men are popular, failures are not. A battered woman is a complete failure, in love, in society (doesn't have a man to show), in friends circles she would bring feelings down.

This country is still very young and, when a girl is born to such an environment, she goes out to work too.

As Savage Carrot already pointed out, it was made quite clear that I don't agree with such crap, and I think the excerpt I posted is one of many that show just how paranoid, deluded and sick this guy is. I?ve gone off in the past about Makow, as well as Rense. I can?t take much of it though so I try to stop myself from taking it too seriously. Otherwise I?d go mad.

I chose an article at random from his website The Effect of Sexual Deprivation on Women.? Well, sure, sexual deprivation for anyone can?t be fun. However, it's clear that only good, pure, real sex can happen within a marriage between a man and a woman.
He makes wild over the top statements like ?feminists deny women need men for anything.? Dude, get your ass out of your 1950s asshole and wake the fuck up. (I despise the use of the word ?dude? but in this case I?m making an exception.) This is such a stale, luggish comment it really isn?t worth discussing, except to let others know that there are still, in 2007, clown shoes like Makow running around loose.
In this piece Makow is selective in his arguments in order to show how evil feminism is. He quotes his wife, who says ?"Women are made to feel guilty for needing men," my wife said. "We're told we're weak, co-dependent or lacking in self-esteem." See, his wife, a woman, sees the truth, why can?t the rest of us? He gets his son in the act too, who says, after watching television "Women don't need sex," he said. "They're just doing men a favor." Speak for yourself, sonny boy.
Makow goes on to discuss those who have way too much sex as some sort of pastime, kind of like scrap booking. It?s a hobby. A lonely empty existence. No doubt for some, if all one does is a series of one night stands ad infinitum and ends up old and lonely, sure. In Makow?s world however, there are only two choices the bar hopping sexual antics of lonely individuals, or the happily married monogamous couple.
Henry uses movies and tv to prove his points about single women and feminism women have sold out to the corporate structure of America, forsaking men and the natural role of women. (And it?s all the Jews fault. Feminist jews. make that feminist lesbo jews.) Using movies and tv shows that are made for entertainment, and to make money, as some kind of proof that women are . . .well, whatever the hell Makow thinks they are, is taking things way too seriously. But Makow does this because he?s too lazy to think authentically.
Then he quotes Freud ?What do women want?? Mind you, he wrote this article in 2003! Are we still even in that place? I?m not a Freud basher, but really. Makow?s whole mind set is so mired in bourgasie stilted crap; really, it?s an intriguing thing to watch. In one of those dizzying moments of nonsensical mental machinations, Makow cites Chaucer?s Wife of Bath and then writes ?She'll do anything for love, even if it means becoming a feminist.?

Very true, I have often pondered about this since it's so glaringly obvious that the sort of system and rules they are suggesting are far removed from justice and do lead to a great deal of suffering when actually being implemented.
Also ? it is so transparent. When they start explaining / justifying why those different rules should be in place, it becomes ugly and illogical pretty fast, and the misogyny behind it shows. Women are oh-so-emotional and not capable of making important decisions, that's why the man has to be the master of the house. Our brains are less capable, that's why we need to be lead and guided, and that's why our testimony in court only counts half. We shouldn't venture into the working world since men are so much better at that; instead we should stick to what God has created us for ? serving our husbands and families. And if ? Our friend Fahad obviously lacks the capability to see women as human beings with a brain and emotions. In his selfish, narrow-minded view of the world their purpose is to produce children and serve him.
