Lets take a look at these verse from suret el Shora

    1)Ha-Mim

    2)'Ain. Sin. Qaf.

3)Like this you are being inspired and to to those before you Allah Exalted in Power Full of Wisdom

4)To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth and He is Most High, Most Great.

5)The heavens are almost rent asunder from above them (by Him Glory) and the angels celebrate the Praises of their Lord, and pray for forgiveness for (all) beings on earth Behold! Verily Allah is He, the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

6)And those who take as protectors others besides Him,- Allah doth watch over them; and thou art not the disposer of their affairs.

7)Thus have We sent by inspiration to thee an Arabic Qur'an that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and all around her,- and warn (them) of the Day of Assembly, of which there is no doubt (when) some will be in the Garden, and some in the Blazing Fire.

If Allah had so willed, He could have made them a single people; but He admits whom He will to His Mercy; and the Wrong-doers will have no protector nor helper.

9)What! Have they taken (for worship) protectors besides Him? But it is Allah,- He is the Protector, and it is He Who gives life to the dead It is He Who has power over all things,

10)Whatever it be wherein ye differ, the decision thereof is with Allah such is Allah my Lord In Him I trust, and to Him I turn.

Who is speaking? Isn't it supposed to be God? how come God tells you that Allah is his God??I reached an answer, no it isn't Mohamed speaking, in the Arabic Qur'an there is not the word or no, it is not there...this is not Mohamed, if so prove to me from the Qur'an...

Then there is someone else writing Ay at in the Qur'an other than god??????

Let's take a look at the fatiha now

1)In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
    2)Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds;
    3)Most Gracious, Most Merciful;
4)Master of the Day of Judgment.
5)Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.
    6)Show us the straight way,
7)The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.

Isn't it clear that the same one/thing/unknown who had the right to write the ayat above in suret el shora is the same unknown thing/one/creature who is telling surret el fateha???he is praising God, and asking him to show us (him and us) the right way????

Is God praising himself?? not God is teaching us how to ask him?? he said in another verse that he is close to us...then why would he do so twice???

Understanding The Qur'an Themes and Style
        By Muhammad Abdel Haleem

        Read the last chapter of this book (chapter 13 - Dynamic Style), where it talks about iltifaat;
        the answer to your question.

You didn't get my point yet.

Read suret el safat from 145 to the end...you will notice...

            Peace.

To be honest, I simply didn't read your original post carefully.

But now that I did, I don't really see the problem. A transition to another speaker in the great reading is not always marked by the word or whatever. It's simply understood, by context or wording. If you have trouble seeing that, I'll help you insert brackets. To me personally, this is one of the features that make this book special, like no other.

In the name of the god, the almighty, the merciful.
There's neither strenght nor power except with the god.

I'll do it not only for you, but for anyone who is too stupid to see/hear it themselves.
In case you didn't know, every translation out there already puts numerous things "over the god's words". Chapter titles, chapter numbers, verse numbers, punctuation marks, etc etc.

                  Peace all,

"who is speaking in the Quran.." is a good and realistic question. All believers can read it in a positive manner, but if you consider the meaning of all verses that resemble like a conversation, you generally get surprise "who is speaking?"

                  God, Gabriel, Prophet or ...?
I'd prefer a rationalistic answer than reactioned one...

                  Salam.

297 Say, "Who is an enemy to Gabriel - so indeed he descended it on your mind by permission Allah confirming what between His hands and guidance and glad tiding to the believers."

                    31
                    32
33 He descended to you the book with the truth confirming to what between His hands, and He descended the Taurat and the Injeel.

Say is to the prophet by Gabriel (transmitting) confirming what ?between His hands? figurative from Allah.

Too obvious there is something hidden here.....no not brackets, I may understand it other way round...who told you to bracket that or these...if you believe in the Qur'an alone where in the Qur'an it was said that you must bracket this or that....please UNDERSTAND THE QUR'AN FROM INSIDE NOT FROM OUTSIDE...Sebaweh made the Arabic language rules after 300 years of the revelation of the Qur'an...don't put brackets like NO THESE ARE NOT IN THE QUR'AN....

Is there the words Mohamed here? any sign of Mohamed???Is there anything here in the Qur'an referring to who is speaking???other than what we thought of who is God, but he isn't....

Why Allah in the Qur'an is always mentioned by the absent subject why??

Ofcourse. But the question was an accusation; insinuating that the god's scripture was tampered with and written by different authors. At least that's how I understood it.

My bad. I didn't intend to mean brackets but quotation marks. Sorry for the confusion.

In case you didn't know already, the honorable reading was not descended at once as a book (written document). It was inspired to the prophet and then written down without quotation marks or whatever. Pre-modern Arabic did not use punctuation.

But whether you like it or not, even you, when reading the text will inevitably "insert" punctuation marks everytime you pause (comma), everytime you stop/long pause (full stop/period), when using intonation (quotation marks, question mark, exclamation mark etc) etc etc etc.

If you know the right answer, there's no need to blame the question. There's absolutely need the peaceful and rational answers. I think all of us are individual belivers. God's Truth is given to everyone in a different style and amount.

I myself get annoyed sometimes when I see people let their emotions and pride take over, knowing that the discussion would be much more fruitful if they would keep their calm. How many otherminded people leave this forum because they are chased away. OK, maybe some of them already made their minds up, but we should at least treat them in a courteous way and give them a chance to hear what we have to say.

If you know the right answer, there's no need to blame the question.

I don't know. Read the first post again. Because of all the multiple question marks after every sentence, it seems as if the whole post was meant in a demeaning way. And I responded to that.

All in all, I get what you mean and I totally agree with you. So let's just leave it at that .

Thanks for the reminder and may the god guide us all to what is best.

I think it is the ruh, or who/whatever delivered the message to the prophet.

037.164 - And there is none of us but has an assigned place,
037.165 - And most surely we are they who draw themselves out in ranks,
037.166 - And we are most surely they who declare the glory (of Allah).

                                  Who is talking here?

Like it or not, if God wrote this Qur'an and spoke then he will have a character, and there is nothing like God, and a character is one created thing. so it makes sense. It is a higher level creature whose job is to deliver the revelation and to send the revelation to prophets and choose them according to God's revelation to this creature.

1)No, brackets are not intended in the Qur'an, every time you say so, put in mind that this is the revelation of God, he could have ordered commas to be put but he didn't, then there is a sign for that.

2)Don't put history on the only right book that we are sure (At least me) that it is God's revelation.

3)Read Suret Al shora disregarding history and the commas....

4)I am not accusing...I am pointing out that God didn't speak to anyone but he only gives his words hidden...because there is nothing like him...and you can have a conversation with things, see things and only things show up like what happened with Moses....

                                    5)Am I wrong?

So there you have your answer!

As for "if God spoke then he will have a character", look around you. Your face, does it not have a specific shape? The Earth is round, the sky is blue, space is dark. Just because God is free of likeness does not mean He does not have a modus operandi.

4111 - Then He directed Himself to the heaven and it is a vapor, so He said to it and to the earth Come both, willingly or unwillingly. They both said We come willingly.

The "speech" of ALLAH is not like human speech! Just because God has no likeness does not mean he cannot have attributes. It means that anything about God's "self" is free of likeness. NOBODY and NOTHING else is "ar-rahman" or "ar-raheem"!

You can't 'Define' God and we do not know and it was not said if he has a feature or not...

God has MANY attributes in al-quran, these are definitions. They are definitions because nothing else possesses these attributes or even can, hence they define "God".

You can't define "God"? The very act of using the word "God" means you can. I understand where you ae coming from however. He also has a "face" (chapter 55) and a "hand" (chapter 39) but as I said, there is no likeness to either of these.
