Can shaytan take on a human form acording to Qur'an?

Salam.The following sura seems to me that it says thathe devils can take on a human form
6112 And as such, We have permitted the enemies of every prophet mankind and Jinn devils to inspire each other with fancy words in order to deceive. Had your Lord willed, they would not have done it. You shall disregard them and their fabrications.
If I am right then how could you have a friends od be a part of community that they can't be a part of?
Or maybe I am wrong. Maybe Satan can only wisper sugestions into our hearts and minds.
Either way, I would like to take this oportunity to say a prayer to Alah to protect us from his influences and make us so that we can resist his temptations. Shaytan is our enemy nmbr 1.

There is nothing in the Quran that says anything about Jinns being able to take the form of human beings. Only angels are capable of this.
1917 She took to a barrier which separated her from them, so We sent Our Spirit to her, and he took on the shape of a human in all similarity.
1918 She said, "I seek refuge with the Gracious from you if you are a person of acknowledgment." ( Mary wasn't aware that person she was talking to was an angel)
1919 He said, "I am the messenger of your Lord, that He may grant you the gift of a pure son."1169 Our messengers came to Abraham with good news, they said, "Peace" He said, "Peace," and it was not long before he came back with a roasted calf.
1170 But when he saw that their hands did not go towards it, he mistrusted them, and felt a fear of them. They said, "Have no fear, we have been sent to the people of Lot." (Abraham wasn't aware that the messengers were angels)

To correct, 1917 uses the word ruh not malaika. The spirit can take any form it pleases, angels are just angels. I have had many fights with satan and it seems he acts on the plane of speech/thought more so than forms, like a ghost in the machine. However as they say the greatest trick the devil pulled is fooling people into thinking he wasn't around so make of that what you will.

You had many fights with satan? Allah is one, that should be sufficient. Or say "I worship Allah alone". And if he`s still around, "Allah is one, and to him we submit.". Which probably will result in a lot of Quran reading, if you are not already familiar with that.
Shayan is a mad-creep. While satan is a jinn, in the subconscious (whisper), when someone listens to him, they tend to creep you out. So that is how he "manifests" on a human being. A satan is often tormented too, so he may have a smile that resembles his mad agony.

I agree with WhereIsTheTruth. There is not a single verse in the Quran that says that a shaytan lives within us.lol. The shaytan doesn't reside in us but rather he is a COMPANION to those who are not servants of God.
4121 They will say to their skins "Why did you bear witness against us?" They will reply "God made us speak; He is the One who causes everything to speak. He is the One who created you the first time, and to Him you return."

Basically the Quran teaches us that the only people who have devils as companions are those who are NOT LOYAL to God alone . Thus, true sincere believers don't have devils as companions whereas everyone else WILLINGLY takes them as companions.

While I am sure about their influence, I am not sure of the medium. Could it be that they are inside of us as either dominant or recessive genes ? If that is the case, then shaytaan lives on in all of us . Its our duty to not let it reside in the form of the dominant gene.

Iblis was the Jinn that tempted Adam during the beginning of humanity....
234 We said to the angels, "Submit to Adam," so they submitted except for Iblis, he refused and became arrogant, and became of the ingrates.

Rajm (meaning expulsion) is used to describe Shaytan .
The Quran describes Satan with the word RaJyM (336; 1517; 1534; 1698; 3877; 8125).
Note Sura 3877 He said, "Therefore exit from it, you are outcast." (Iblees)
Shaytan and Ibles are used differently in the Quran. It is my view that Shaytan is a general term , it's more like a title or nickname given to Iblees. Iblees on the other hand is the REAL name of the Shaytan that existed during Adam's time.
Notice the simlarities between Satan and Iblees....
5819 The devil has overtaken them, and has caused them to forget the remembrance of God. These are the party of the devil (iz'bu l-shayni) . Absolutely, the party of the devil are the losers.

You haven't disproved my point. The ayaats you referred can actually be used to interpret what I said. Since our heart does not have an ear, that ayaat is to be taken metaphorically. I can use the same ayaat and my theory still holds.
Think about it this way, I am capable of thinking to do both good and bad. When I chose to do the bad, that is what is being described in 26221 onwards. Characteristics. When we chose to lie or follow abstract lies, that is when the devil descends on us. I do not see exactly why it is absolutely necessary, in the light of the ayaats you quoted, that the devil has to be externally-physical.

According to what I said earlier, my theory still holds. Since your companion is made up of same things as you are. Both can carry that gene set. So while you are working towards promoting good behaviours and suppressing the bad traits, your companion doing the opposite will influence you.
By the way, I am not certain about the theory that I am talking about. I do consider the probability that the devil can be externally-physical/spiritual. The ayaats I spoke about in the above reply to IAMOP doesn't prove anything conclusively. Both theories hold.

I agree. The Jinns do not live within us. They are physical entities that live OUTSIDE OF US. They have all types of power.
They have power to create things more efficiently than humans.

Also the Quran says point blank that Jinns are created from a smokeless fire.

You have the ability to use your good genes and suppress bad ones ( in action). When you willfully decide to use the bad ones, you are making it your friend. I hope that clears it up.
The way the jinns reside in us, I derive from a process which requires two very similar species interbreeding. So, the Jinns may originate from smokeless fire. Still, there is nothing to say that it cant evolve and interbreed with mankind. I am not talking about a theory which requires them to be concious beings residing in us like parasites. It only requires them to breed with our ancestors inorder to pass their bad genes into us.
Who cares, its all in a hypothetical phase. I do not have solid grasp on it. My understanding lies in the border of what you are saying and what I am saying.

I have not seen the ears of human heart. If heart here means your mind, then still my theory holds. Since I am talking about characteristic behaviors. They being hidden does no damage to my theory. I see smokeless fire as energy, matter is made from that.

The nervous system is one system. We have the illusion of splitting it into "brain, spinal cord, nervous system, heart" but that's not the way it goes! There is a bundle of nerves in the heart that dominates our entire waking and sleeping life, this is known as the "little brain in the heart".
The brain is merely a bundle of nerves that is (a crucial) part of the nervous system, not the boss of the nervous system. The boss of the nervous system is the heart which itself is dominated by the breath cycle. So ultimately the rate of breath/heart rate is responsible for all our actions!
The nervous system IS the "mind". There is no such thing as "mind/body/spirit", energy is spirit is mind is body is light is matter. It just IS.
