      peace SHM,

      Salaam SHM,

So, since all mentioned are prophets, that means each one had their own scripture, correct? Are all these scriptures available/accessible to us?

      yes

where are the scriptures of Abraham, Isaac, Ishmael, Noah, Jacob, Joseph, Job (unless you wanted to say the Book of Job was his cause the author is unknown), Idris (theres actually an apocryphilia book or however you spell it thats titled the Book of Enoch, that could possibly be it), Jonah (another unknown writer wrote the Book of Jonah), Lot, Zachariah, Elias, Elisha, where are these books? the problem I think is with the one tracked definition of kitab which I think means decrees as well or idolfree could be right about kitab being the ever unfolding book of life and we were given bits and pieces of the lives of each in the quran as examples to follow by, what do you think?

        nabi
        sorry

I would like to know how Muhammad got it from the quran. Can you show me how he, not being knowledgeable of the 19 miracle as people are today, got the standard of salat from the quran?

You gonna give me that reply?

the true problem that you are ignoring is that the Koran was and IS making refernce to books already in possees of the christains and jews of muhammed time and today. (393)

you agreed that they are still in possession today and available to us, where are they? where are the scriptures of Abraham, Isaac, Ishmael, Noah, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Idris, Jonah, Lot, Zachariah, Elias, Elisha? 393 speaks about the Torah and doesn't mention any of there scriptures being in the possession of the Children of Isreal

            Peace,

This looks like an attack out of sheer desperation. Kyle was taking about "miracles" and not GOD. You are trying in vain to include GOD in your statement "everything is symbolic"!

            Anwar Azim

These "miracles" are symbolic, as are all the stories of the prophets.

like i said, nothing is tanigble with you. everything is symbolic. even GOD i guess.

Kyle do indeed view many things in the Koran "symbolic". I am not lying about him. even he can tesstify to it.

What your ego fail for you to realize is that Kyle said "as are all the stories of the prophets." Kyle baliantly believes that the verse i quoted is simply a fable. (2832 ). If you accept that, Anwar, surely you are worshiping Kyle opinion as a god beside GOD, as a authority beside GOD. Why? 18 13.

I thought it was just the first 5 books and the overall Hewbrew Bible was called the Tanaka or something like that, I guess it makes sense for the overall Hewbrew Bible to be the torah considering the reading never mentions the torah being given to Moses directly, anyways I was right

                    To?rah also to?rah ( P ) Pronunciation Key (t?r, tr, toir, t?-r?)
                    n. Judaism
The first five books of the Hebrew Scriptures. See table at Bible.
A scroll of parchment containing the first five books of the Hebrew Scriptures, used in a synagogue during services.
The entire body of religious law and learning including both sacred literature and oral tradition.

anyways where are the books of Abraham, Isaac, Ishmael, Noah, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Idris, Jonah, Lot, Zachariah, Elias, Elisha?

anyways where are the books of Abraham, Isaac, Ishmael, Noah, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Idris, Jonah, Lot, Zachariah, Elias, Elisha?

Idris, the real issue is not "where are the books", but "should we ignore the books". Lets say we cannot find the book of Job, should we ignore the torah, gospel, book of david etc. Should we ignore the previous scripture in our posession today.

Many here dont believe in GOD when He say "we should believe in ALL scriptures". Many in here dont believe the Submission is older than the Koran. When one realize this, all GOD wisdom will be open to you, and not the opinions of others who deny GOD scriptures, present and past.

                      Peace

                            Peace be upon you SHM,

Not sure if you left this forum or not yet, but in eaither case I leave you in Peace. I am sure that if you continue your studying you will begin to see a clearer picture and not be so adverse to the different understandings you see here. I just urge you to to accept everything you read at submission.org as truth without using your reason.

I can no longer debate with you while you are only trying to defend "19er" philosophies. It is a waste of both our time.

Again, please forgive me for anytime I may have been sarcastic, my only intention now is to promote peace. I will leave you in peace with your understandings.
