The ultimate translation of the prayer.
-
I have been wondering about the ultimate translation of the muslim prayer. With my meditation-experience, I know that certain monotheistic concepts, defeats spirits. With that knowledge in mind, I have analysed the muslim prayer, which is the "meditation" of the normal muslim. That which he remembers God by, or is Godaware by.
My current translation, is as follows
In the name of the one God, The Benevolent, The Most Merciful.
All praise is to the one God, The creator the universe. The Benevolent, The Most Merciful.
Ruler on the day of Judgement.
You only we worship, and you only we ask for help.
Guide us in the path that is correct, the path of those who earned your preference.
Not the path of those who provoked your anger, those who went astray.'This is just a quick current translation I pieced together, though. I would like to know if anyone with arabic skills, (or other with knowledge) can improve it? You see that I include the concept of one God, here, which is excellent against spirits. It is interesting to see how excellent one can make this translation, and how pure a mind one can get, knowing the meaning the arabic tries to convey.
Notice that the prayer does not only include one god, but emphasising creation of the universe, meaning that God>universe (which is good against spirits, and really against pantheism and panentheism). Also that God ofcourse is benevolent (are these the most correct words?) Ruler I consider optimal (comments?). You only "we" worship, makes all jinn present worship God, which is optimal. I also use the phrase "correct", because that is the technical and dry truth. (however amazing )).Peace.

Ofcourse it doesn`t help to purify ones mind, if one worships a shaytan beside God, such as Mohammed in hadith, who is often portrayed to be cruel, mad, deviant, and repulsive. How can a cruel man be informed by an angel, who do the command of the most merciful? Indeed Mohammed must have been in a symbiosis with the most merciful, and such things would have been rebuked. (In other words hadith are false, and should be avoided. And ofcourse all other associations).
Peace.
-
"You only "we" worship, makes all jinn present worship God, which is optimal."
Peace, that's a great insight. We have dominion over jinn in this way!
Just as a shaytan, man or spirit, can possess a human and wheel them around in various directions, a human can easily exercise ALLH's will through prayer to possess them for good.

Not the path of those who provoked your anger, those who went astray.'I would change the
"You only we worship, and you only we ask for help."
"You alone we serve and you only we ask for help."Abd is more towards serve / serving...
The use of 'worship' has meanings which lenient toward 'adoration/admiration' while serve/serving has more tendency towards 'action/deeds' which is more important. -
IAMOP Thank you.
Jafar Serve is already part of the bismillah. "In the name of God", also means, in the service of God. So that is covered already.
But praising God is worship, and loving and admiring God is also Islam. So yes I do believe "worship" is the best term there.
But thank you for your suggestions.Peace.

11 Beginning is with Allah's personal name Ar'Reh'maan Who is The Fountain of Infinite Mercy.
12 The Infinite Glory and Praise stands specified eternally, entirely and exclusively for Allah, the Exalted, the Sustainer Lord of the Known-Multiple universes-All that exists.
13-4 The Sustainer Lord of the Worlds is Ar'Reh'maan Who is The Fountain of Infinite Mercy. Ar'Reh'maan is the Master/the Sovereign/the Authority/Holder of "The Day of Resurrection/Judgment and Requital".
15 You, the Exalted are the One and Only Whom we presently, and in future will, solely and exclusively owe and demonstrate allegiance and servitude. Moreover, You, the Exalted are exclusively the One we keep looking for cooperative and helping facilitation to exalt ourselves.
16-7 Our Sustainer Lord Ar'Reh'maan! You, the Exalted guide us upon the Path that keeps heading safely and straight to the destination of peace and tranquility; the Path journeyed by those upon whom You showered blessings. This Path/Course is other than of those who made themselves liable to criminal cognizance/arrest, and nor is of those who are the neglectful wanderers.

Peace Paradox Uncreated peace
Here is my version
With the name of the one God, The Almighty*, the Merciful.
Praise belongs to the God; Lord of the Worlds.universe. The Benevolent, The Most Merciful.
Sovereign on the day of Judgement (alt.
It is You we worship, and it is you we ask for help
Guide us to the stright path, the path of those whom you bestowed your blessings
Not the path of those are condemned, nor those who went astray.'*I like FM translation of ALmighty, also because in the Bible, it states that God was known to Abraham as "Elshaddai" (God Almighty), and notice how abraham uses the word (Al-ra7man ن in 1944) http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?action=post;quote=289414;topic=9603242.0

After close examination, I change the word, universe, to "worlds". I believe this better fits the islamic mindset.
-
Omniverse would be better imo
-
Peace peace
After close examination, the "universes" could be translated as the "samawat" (i.e the heavens).
God tells us that he favoured the children of israel above all the "3alameen", this would be better to be translated as the "worlds" and not the "universes".
A counter argument is that God Almighty "Honored" Adam above the angels and the jinns, because the Devil stated as in revenge, that you see that, that you have honored over me, if you respit me until the Day of Resurrection, I will possess all his descendants, except a few (1762)
Thus the children of Israel are really, favoured, from within a community of "honored" Human Creations.
This could mean that the "3alameen" can mean the "universes" -
In the name of God the mercy-giving (alrahman) merciful (alrahym)
...
My current translation, is as follows
In the name of the one God, The Benevolent, The Most Merciful.
All praise is to the one God, The creator the universe. The Benevolent, The Most Merciful.
Ruler on the day of Judgement.

Not the path of those who provoked your anger, those who went astray.'
...Peace.
Peace,
Do you really associate God with the universe, or did you mean that he created the universe?
Here are some points I like to make. I personally think that Alrahman means one who created the mercy. Also alrahym is an attribute of alrahman. There is also chapter 55 which describes what Alrahman does. It also constantly says In/with what favour of your lord are you denying?
Peace

Typo-shaitan snuck in. "of".
Favor seems to be consistent with being benevolent.

Ok, I thought you could have mistyped. But I disagree with your translation of Alrahman Alrahym, because
- You give extra attributes to the word you are translating
- Everyone can be merciful
- Only because of being benevolent (having good intentions) doesn't make God unique, since everyone can have good intentions
Yes God is benevolent and merciful, but he is also the one who is able to give, take or even create mercy without being dependent of anything or anyone and that makes him unique!
This would be my version without adding extra words.
In the name of God, The mercy-giving Merciful (11)
Praise belongs to God, lord of the worlds (12)
The mercy-giving Merciful (13)
Possesor of day of the religion (14)
Thee we obey and Thee we beseech (15)
Guide us to the straight path (16)
The path of those you bestowed upon not those wrath is upon neither the strayers (17)11 Beginning is with Allah's personal name Ar'Reh'maan Who is The Fountain of Infinite Mercy.
...fountain ?

I am happy to discuss the meaning of these words, as long as it has basis in quranic analysis.
I don`t see the problem of everone being merciful, that is one of the aspects that worship should provide.
And God is omnibenevolent. (Yes, that is how good God is). Infinite being of incomprehensible mercy.Peace!
-
As God is the SOURCE of all things
Nobody can be merciful except that God was merciful enough to bring them into existence
Nobody can be benovelent except in spending what God has given themIs God the universe? Yes, no. Depends what you mean by universe. God is that which begets nor is begotten, the first and the last, that which has no beginning and no end. The universe does match that description if and only if by universe you mean "totality of all energy/existence". And that is ALLH in any case Energy/Infinite singularity. The observable universe is a creation of THE universe/THE reality/THE truth/ALLH/Infinity. To delve further into this goes into paradox because there is no likeness to ALLH and we use duality to try and explain things. ALLH is beyond duality.

Is God the universe. No. I do not believe so. It is an unpeaceful mindset. Islam leads to peace (of mind, and therefore ones world). And typical thinking on God, (that God is not creation) is peaceful.
And well, if you think you are the universe, you are shaitan aswell. Old repulsive gay prositutes, supposedly is God (and yourself) to you. THAT is clear association.
Instead of believing you are the lowest, you should try believeing in perfect divinity.
-
Look beyond the forms and to the nature of TRUTH itself.
2435, as always. Nobody has a response to itGod is one
Space & time is many
Universe is one
Heavens and earth is manyAn individual aspect is not God. God is totality. The light of the heavens and earth Source, self-sufficient reality
God is light, the heavens and earth are MADE of light. God is the truth, the heavens and earth are MADE with truth.
The specific insight I wish to convey here is not transmittable except by direct experience of total ego dissolution/samadhi.
-
God is al-haqq yes. Aka God is the allknowing transcendent truth, and CREATE everything.
Creator of the worlds.. And satan is a creation, and all jinn are.
Do not associate created with creator, this is what idolaters do, or any associator. God is uncreated.
-
There is no idolatry involved this is a limitation of your mind. You are not processing what I am saying
Truth is ONE.
All creation is names. A computer is God saying the word "computer" in God's language of "Be". God is the originator of names.
Another way to look at it is to give a name to every creation. So you would have Computer-190303492592592 which would have exactly one particle different from Computer-190303492592593. God is the speaker of Truth/Existence aka Creator whose word is Truth/Information The passing of time is as the command "Let there Be moment #29394884203 => Let there Be moment #29394884204 => Let there Be moment #29394884205", each moment is a longer and longer information structure (ref chapter 21).
As I said, this realisation is not transmittable. You have to come to a point in meditation where all associations and delusions disappear. The only thing remaining then is the truth, which you directly experience. It is beyond words, names, forms, formlessness, bliss, experience, concepts. It is tao. There are varying levels of it it can be experienced like a fractal. This which you are experiencing right now is an aspect of the fractal. But there are parts of this fractal which have less thought interference and there you can see clearly for yourself that you are infinity. That is consciousness conscious of consciousess.
After returning to this experience which is very much like birth itself, there is a different knowing of reality. Truth stands plain and clear and self-evident and distinct from falsehood but knowing yourself you can see straight through others and their intentions. In this experience there is room for compassion/understanding for ALL things. It is plain to see both why disbelievers exist and must exist, why they are going to hell, and still why they deserve to live just as much as us as long as they do not oppress us. When you can accept both satan and "old repulsive gay prostitutes" as creatures of ALLH which ALLH created in supreme justice, come back to me and tell me about idolatry
Peace

Just a thought experiement OP, can I not say something that is not true? So there can come into existence something that is not true. Would you still call it the truth? AKA God?
To put it as extreme as I can Is this the truth? There are 5000 gods?
Is this the truth Is god a filthy gay whore? Is the truth beyond understanding itself?
Is injustice justice and repulsiveness divine, and so forth?
