LoL! Like I said before, don't shoot the messenger. I am simply posting and going to post SOL's theologies and (mis)translations, from their site so if you don't like what is said, then take it up with them or maybe you should have actually studied them for yourself before zealously defending and promoting things not in the Quran.

You're simply a retard, fool without reasoning and a blatant liar just like I said. Nothing else.
Whatever you're gonna come up, it's gonna be wrong, since you're going to use traditionalist translations and will use arguments that could easily be explained if you read just a few SOL articles to their fullest.

The issue with K and the SOL theologies are not simply semantics. They are antithetical to what the Quran actually teaches and says. The adherants to those theologies are teaching NOT to serve God, NOT to worship, NOT to honor Him, NOT to pray to Him, NOT to give thanks or ask for help from Him and that doing these things angers God and He will punish you for it and that this backward ideology, that cannot be found in Quran is somehow the true Islam.

I will show more in my other thread regarding SOL theologies, but as if the question is about the semantic nature of who or what we call God it is not.

Look he is not going to get convinced by your arguments and you are not going to get convinced by his. So what is the point in all this. I am noticing that this is getting kind of personal. We are all here to learn.

One can sit there and semantically defend 'SOL's pov's and call them misunderstood but at the end of the day, it's quite simple. It is a deliberate refusal to acknowledge what is interchangeable (e.g. terms) and it's not even all that offensive if they are somehow daringly exchanged. To some it's like a personal affront (glove across face + pistols at dawn) if God was used in place of Allah. Come on now.

Additionally, 'getting kind of personal'? The dude called someone a retard, fool and a liar...twice? I appreciate diplomacy and also the preference for addressing one's post to the more reasonable of the people involved in the skirmish (least likely to get called a retard in return) but please...I don't see what in Mr.Q's post above was 'personal' towards the other. Yes, we are all here to learn and discussing/debating/arguing even passionately about ideas and concepts is really okay, it's alright to do that on this forum here. What is not alright is calling someone a retard, a fool and a liar and consistently berating people for not getting it. That stops here.

        Peace.

I am not trying to convince him of anything, nor anyone else for that matter. Nobody has to agree with me on anything. I am simply putting forth my arguments based on the Quran and exposing what I see as serious errors and flaws in SOL's theologies and reasonings.

There are others who read these threads, who never post anything, yet will get to hear or see a different viewpoint and then they can decide what they believe or don't and what they follow or don't. I believe a major part of the learning process is counter arguments, different viewpoints and being able to articulate your positions, with Quranic support, when questioned about them. When everything is laid bare, then people can freely figure out where they stand on any particular issue, without personal harassment or insult.

Peace be upon you guys as well,

well, There is only One God, because God himself kind of spells it out for us. If there were multple gods, they would dispute and fight for supremacy (2391)

            Moreover,
"He presents to you an example from yourselves. Do you ever elevate your servants or subordinates to the level where they rival you, and to the point that you pay them as much allegiance as is being paid to you? We thus explain the revelations for people who understand. (302

would God give his kingship to others, and fear them as he fears himself?

Bravo to all the young members active or inactive who are searching for God or who is not god. My daughter was 12 when she signed up here. No hurrahs for those who can't follow the house rules even after repeated warnings however. If you aren't old enough to understand, respect and follow the Forum Rules, you shouldn't be posting.

We've been unusually lenient throughout based on the age despite repeated complaints over the posting span...but there is a limit, and kids (or adults) need to learn, and know what is acceptable and what isn't. What I expect from a young kid is precisely that to learn the limits and behaviour (the basics) required to operate civilly in a social arena before wrestling with 'higher' concepts. We say this because we care.

Well, we could always pray for one another.

"...Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts any resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful." (5910)

how wonderful a prayer that is!

Going back to the subject of Why the importance of one God?

3962 GOD is the creator of all things, and HE is in full control of all things.?

( Does GOD break HIS promise? Is HE allowing you a life to make your decision? Can you stop yourself from dying and returning to HIM? Is HE eternal, living? Has HE taken a break from being in charge of all HIS creations?)

3964 Say? Is it other than GOD (Alone) you exhort me to worship, ( and follow as head of my religion!) O you ignorant ones?? ?

3965 It has been revealed to you and to those before you ( All the religions that claim are from GOD!) that if you ever commit idol worship, all your works will be nullified and you will be with the losers.?

( If you ever take other than GOD as head of your religion!, follow ?others?- idols- undermine GOD?)

3966 Therefore you shall worship ( and follow!) GOD ALONE, and be appreciative.?

( for creating you, giving you a chance to redeem yourself back to HIS kingdom?)

407 Those who serve the throne and all around it ( Angels?) glorify and praise their Lord and believe in HIM. (Totally submit!) And they ask forgiveness for those who believe. ( Among the humans) The Angels say? Our Lord, your mercy and your knowledge encompass all things, forgive those who repent and follow your path, and spare them the retribution.??? ( They know the best deal!, They want you and I to redeem ourselves back to our creator!)
Total loyalty to GOD ALONE is the most important priority.
                      Peace and forgiveness.

                        Peace Good logic

One thing is that God Almighty gave us some freedoms, yes they're limited however, we do have freedoms. we are not really puppets. we have a choice. This would be why God commands us to do this that, that would mean we have a choice.

Yes we don't really have a choice of living forever etc, (i.e our choices/freedoms are limited), however, we do have some )

                          Peace to you too.

I was highlighting the best choice for us

33 47 Deliver good news to the believers, ( Those who choose GOD s system) that they have deserved from GOD a great blessing.?

( Other leaders also promise you rewards? You are free to choose, GOD or others?)

3362 This is GOD s eternal system ( Submission and total loyalty to HIM. The ONE and ONLY leader.) And you will find that GOD s system is unchangeable.? ( Who would you want as a leader? )

333 And put your trust in GOD. GOD suffices as an advocate.?

( Of course, you have the choice, this is a democracy?)

3372 We have offered Responsibility ( Freedom of choice) to ( other creations in) the heavens and earth and mountains, but they refused to bear it ( They wanted GOD s system) and were afraid of it. ( In case they mess up- like we are doing!) But the human being accepted it. (We wanted the freedom of choice!) He was transgressing, ignorant. ( We want our own system!)

                          Peace again

We should have special rules for yunguns now ? Should we get into everybody's business and ask them how old they are and treat them accordingly ? Sorry, that's impractical and far from sage advice . He's been warned about this repeatedly, yet he continues to engage in really flagrant behavior (read doesn't care). And you are encouraging this kind of behavior? Arrogance at this age is very scary, quite honestly.

and what is 'Allah'? A new sort of God?

There is nothing in english called 'Allah' but it sounds funny in english rotfl

In English , there is a cloned word, that the frensh and english use for the word Allah

allah = The Law = La loi , as simple as that, Allah that created you means the Law that created you

What is better, cutting the branch of the weed, or extracting its roots?

Similarly, "disciplinary measures" whatever the degree, do not work. The death penalty never prevented murderers, in fact, the murder rate in non-death penalty states has remained consistently lower than the rate in states with the death penalty. Rather than sanctioning (which brings great joy and power to the moderators, no doubt) shouldn't one continually educate and enlighten again and again, the wrongdoer (in general) ? And if he persists, shouldn't one simply ignore him ?

All the members of free-minds have attained emotional maturity, and so all of this fuss should not be anyway.
