The prophets will be witnesses on the day of Resurrection. They will support the witnessing of that messenger mentioned in 381.
They have taken the covenant to witness that this messenger (To come after Muhammed because he has also taken the covenant with the other prophets) is a true messenger.
Peace.I could read that verse a million times and not reach your conclusion about Rashad. But i think you made up your mind. I don't think your interpretation is convincing, at least to me.

Perhaps if late Mr Rashad Khalifa, PhD, lived longer, i.e. if he had not been assassinated by some Muslim fundamentalists, perhaps he would have had the chance to change and upgrade his views and his opinions, and maybe he would have discovered more real facts and miracles.
Be it as it is, I think he can still be credited for creating the whole modern Quran-alone Hadith-free movement! (which is not to say that similar movements and trends did not exist in the past, even almost at dawn of Islam)

I just derived another reason for my fear of what Rashad did,...is that I just don't know when is it wrong to claim divinity of such magnitude.
I think it got worse when I asked my father if he ever heard about him, as Rashad died near when I was born...he didn't recognize at first, but explained to me...that oh...that is what they call schizophrenia (my dad is like that he is very...logical any weird emotions are a misplacement). And started to go on about how this phenomena is quiet common, and that he personally dealt with someone who enclosed him self all of a sudden and then suddenly stated he is a prophet and that he had the ability of making a dead roach come back to life...but he was in the KSA so my father and a bunch of other friends, told him you better be careful they will kill you, they won't think of you as insane. My dad never tried to validate his abilities...its like he really hopes he doesn't turn out right, he doesn't want to even open that possibility. That guy was egyptian as well, and he had a sister who believed she was devil possesed, and they even tried taking her to someone 'extracts' demons, just to try...it didn't work for long supposedly...my dad supposedly didn't believe in that, but its a passive disbelief...
he also went on about how that some researcher published that tears heal cataracts (eye disorder), based on the story of Prophet Yusuf's dad who was able to see again after he wiped his eyes with his sons shirt. That was how he built his hypothesis he thought what could've possibly healed his blindness, and even made it factual...he never provided decent evidence according to my dad (he is an Eye doctor).

Infact one of the most important things to asses in a psychiatry is your religious upbringing, feeling that it is a main ingredient to...'unhappiness and irrational thoughts'. I know because I have been to many LOL!!!....I sometimes think that yes I can identify when this sounds like what God would say...but...is that wrong...insane...blasphemous...? how else then am I supposed to know God...
When dad started going on about religion, and how some people just try so hard to make a science of faith...and that this is not...achievable...as you are most probably extremely biased, because if you are not you are basically 'going to hell' for thinking otherwise.
Can any of us be a messenger in the making then???....
I can't help feeling when Rashad found the 19 thing and believed in it, and felt he got 'life in the bag'....it got to him, and started feeling maybe that anything he thinks is divine....Bah!!! I hate this!!! I used to read the Qur'an and feel truth in it...now I can only feel it is a book full of good...'opinions'...and I keep feeling worse and worse for those who find it difficult to believe because I understand their problem...and I don't have the answer...I guess...I am now agnostic...which is crap...I thought my faith is going to be getting stronger...not weaker....this is horrible....its like I don't want to be like this...but I can't stop it....
But on the other hand...I do remember I always felt that maybe what God wants is installed in us but if we listen...we don't need the Qur'an or anything...except as a reminder...I sometimes think that when God says the Qur'an was sent because he is mercifull...it means..we shouldn't really need a written reminder...if we follow what we think God is it should be fine....
Verses that say, when the Prophet got the Qur'an to them that believers already felt that is what the truth would sound like anyways....they already knew....so...maybe the problem I am having is being dogmatic about a certain sect that talks about God...
I just have a lot of difficulty accepting that the Qur'an is universal, and that if someone didn't read it then he didn't get to talk to God...there is no other way, and that other than the Qur'an there is nothing to see about God anymore....and I don't think the Qur'an ever states that...but its just what I was raised to believe..and maybe I am just having trouble shipping the bad parts of faith...without breaking all of it.
Its like studying a good text book about something and thinking ok I am done, there is nothing else I ever need to know about this subject...nothing new matters...nothing will be proven to have been thought of in a wrong way....I understand now why people have this religion holds us back evolution wise...
AND again this whole how do I pray thing is driving me insane!!, I don't like being a robot!!!!!! I don't like doing things just cause...
Is it possible prayer is not a 1 2 3 step.... S....I mean...Dr. Rashad wanted to add this ritual voodo kind of element to it...like its a open sesame, and the door responds to that....the secret code...the five candles will do it....the blood as a star....maybe I need to check if sorcery is true or not it would make me believe that this is what works a certain set of random actions/rituals...

Well I accept that....what does this have to do with Rashad him self!! I am talking about the idea of human claiming divinity....and that he can speak for God...when do you say no this person is not speaking for God...what is the threshold...why are you not listening to everyone who claims divinity out there???

lol this is starting to sound like a real islamic forum, where you say something you get replied with random statements then top it with you are a kafir, or say snide things like thanks for my diary???...only this is a bit fancier, we say it in english...whatever!! I guess...hadith is not the problem then after all...
I guess hadith was just a threshold you surpassed because...it didn't fit your daily life is that it??... whatever monster worked for me to forgo hadith, is getting me to not trust rashad either...

I apologies I read a lot of the posts in this website, and I can't get a clear answer about him, so I was wondering if someone knew a post I could refer to, or a website I could refer to, that is reliable and not full of claiming that he is a pig, and deserves to go to hell without actually saying why he is wrong.
I realize people here do like the hadith free Islam, but I am wondering, why do you guys not like him? what was he wrong about?
I will be very honest, I am very gullible sometimes, but I do move with instincts, and I came across his videos by complete accident, and I think I was looking for how to pray in Islam, although I knew how it is done, but I just never felt right praying the way I was taught to pray, I wanted to make sure I am not just doing whatever. Anyways at the first glance he seemed very refreshing to me, I almost said wow he seems like a messenger or something, and it was so WEIRD!!!, because I was like here I am being silly...but then I find out he actually said that he is, that kinda hooked me on, but I want to make sure I am not being superstitious...or that I just like him because of what he seems/talks about.
I am horrible with math, and numbers really frighten me, I will try to get my calculator and see what he meant, but his story sounded exactly like a story of the Qur'an. So without much further babbling by me. Why do most people who even believe in Qur'an 'only'...even say things like they hate him. I want to learn!!! PLEASE HELP.

if you check all messengers in the quran, they all HAD HOUKM , AND ILM , meaning, they were rulers, and endowed with knowledgerashad khalifa was a religious man, while, RASSOUL of the quran, came to nullify all forms of religions
that is why, rashad khalifa newer interested me, because he was juste another priest, and priesthood is against the tenets of the quran
NABI or RASSOUL , has to confront leaders of the world, because they , themselves were leaders of states
if anyone proclaim himself rassoul, he has to a a president, or a general or something endowed with wordly power to argue or fight his enemiesrashad khalifa was a mosque man, just like a church man , he was more in spiritual quest , but the truth has to be apparent to all , clear and simple, and not some kind of philosophical digits and numbers
