Why is Rashad Khalifa wrong?
-
I apologies I read a lot of the posts in this website, and I can't get a clear answer about him, so I was wondering if someone knew a post I could refer to, or a website I could refer to, that is reliable and not full of claiming that he is a pig, and deserves to go to hell without actually saying why he is wrong.
I realize people here do like the hadith free Islam, but I am wondering, why do you guys not like him? what was he wrong about?
I will be very honest, I am very gullible sometimes, but I do move with instincts, and I came across his videos by complete accident, and I think I was looking for how to pray in Islam, although I knew how it is done, but I just never felt right praying the way I was taught to pray, I wanted to make sure I am not just doing whatever. Anyways at the first glance he seemed very refreshing to me, I almost said wow he seems like a messenger or something, and it was so WEIRD!!!, because I was like here I am being silly...but then I find out he actually said that he is, that kinda hooked me on, but I want to make sure I am not being superstitious...or that I just like him because of what he seems/talks about.
I am horrible with math, and numbers really frighten me, I will try to get my calculator and see what he meant, but his story sounded exactly like a story of the Qur'an. So without much further babbling by me. Why do most people who even believe in Qur'an 'only'...even say things like they hate him. I want to learn!!! PLEASE HELP.

Salaam,
I hope you are well, insh'Allah.
Before you start asking why everyone hates him, wouldn't it be logical to first figure out what the complete gist of what he is actually claiming. To get a balanced view pehaps, you ought to ask Edip and/ other followers too. Or perhaps you are not interested in that.
Anyway, it is nice to see that you are asking questions, and you seem much more reassured in your recent posts compared to the comments on your initial thread which you posted.

Did you do that painting on your avatar yourself? It's good, almost as good as the painting I did of myself which was up on my avatar up until a few days ago.
LOL, ya I did, thanks for noticing ;D, I would love to see your painting/s!!! do you have an online account with your art stuff in it?
haha! I like how you said almost as good ....
Edit I would LOVE to talk to one of his followers, but I just don't want to be encroaching on someone's time who doesn't feel like it...as I can be quiet stupid, I get the gist of what he is saying I watched almost all his youtube videos and been on submission website,
but there is something about his overconfidence that I am wary of, sunnis, shias, christians, everyone can be so confident and so discrediting so I don't know how I will ever resolve the gist of any of them when ultimately this is faith, why do they all feel so strong that God is on their side but they say different things!,
I feel him on some matters, but on others I question him, for one he claims the prayer is 5 times, and the steps are exactly as the sunnis, but the Qur'an is SO VAGUE about praying I am sorry it just is to me and it frustrates me, because it really is a good question how do you pray if there is no hadith, I realize he said it is how Abraham did it, but why did the Qur'an not explain that again if it is 'fully detailed'. It explained a lot of things again supposedly, why not how to pray.

No, I don't have an online account, but if I show you my self-portrait you will be shacked at my super artistic prowess.
Are you ready for it, nevasheva?
Rofl I hope I don't get real jealous, hate that feeling
Edit LOL , I saw that portrait a lot actually!! I always assumed it is the website's blank profile picture or something LOL, but actually you have a very paintable portrait there, the real life picture I mean
-
lol...I keep having an account and deleting it like over 30 times now, I don't know...art is GAY, I wish I could backflip or punch people
so...no I deleted my accounts cause painters seem to go to hell ...I just couldn't tolerate having my profile picture be nothingness (, but I will pay for it dearly...they should add a hellfire emoticon to this site.
-
You would rather punch someone than create a beautiful work of art that creates joy or happiness in the person viewing it? You say gay in a derogatory manner, but what is wrong with that or negative about your artistic expression? It is only joyless souls who have not the ability to love that will tell you there is something wrong with your artwork or your sexual orientation (in my humble opinion, anyway). Be yourself, as long as you're not harming anyone. God created multitudes of humanity, each and everyone of us is different. Is it not wise to accept individual difference, with different hues of the spectrum, to nourish our own uniqueness in the essence which God created it. To do otherwise is wrong, surely.
Anyway, I don't know if what I have written makes any sense, I have not slept and I must get ready for my meeting now. hypno
There's no hellfire emoticon, but here, take this instead sun
Take care.
Peace and harmony to you.

Well as far as I am concerned I never really knew him or listened to him except maybe on electure. Like u I am not imyo numbers and math and do not really pay attention the the code 19 stuff. As far as this forum is concerned from my observation there is a huge diversity here. I think most here would look for evidence from the Quran for anything so probably most would not pay attention to Rashad. I am not really sure about Rashad myself. I have met some submitters groups in facebook. Their beliefe are alright except they believe in Rashad as a messenger. I don't know what they mean by messenger.
Personally I think Rashad was charismatic and was smart. But he was before the internet revolution that changed everything. Most Quranist don't even know who is Rashad.

Salaam,
I will tell you my stand about Rashad.
1- I never hate him but I don't believe him being a messenger because he removed two aayaats out of AlQuraan. Messenger should confirm the scripture what is in hands.
2- There might be many messengers beside him, so no wonder.
3- Messenger's duty is to bring people near to their TheCreator, invite people to Allah . So, even if he was a messenger we don't have to do anything with him.
May Allah guide us all to His true path pr

Peace Nevasheva.
I have two parts for my answer.PART 1-- I do believe Rashad was a messenger because of the following
He called to GOD Alone and to only follow Qoran ( As far as what he was allowed to understand ; I will explain this in part 2)
He stayed loyal to GOD insisting all hadith and sunna were innovations and made up laws ,even risking his life.
He never asked for money or favours from anyone. He was devoted to serving the cause of GOD.
So many verses in the Qoran point to his messengership.
PART 2-- I believe GOD tests the believers ,especially when HE sends new prophet/ messenger for the following reasons
To see if they support the messenger when he is among them.
To see if they follow" GOD Alone" after his death.
Coming back to my point " What Rashad was allowed to understand"
I believe the Qoran is for all generation and only GOD is able to explain it. Different generations have understood different things according to what GOD allows. The main message is " Submission and total loyalty to GOD Alone"this rule is consistent and never changes other rules, rites are not important, hence GOD tests the loyalty of the believers .
So as a human being , Rashad made mistakes, but he was sincere in trying his best.
I believe GOD allowed him to find the proof of the Qoran as well as the understanding of many science verses.Peace.

Which verses are that?

If you use that argument, they will simply reply that it is was a purification of the book. Rather, bring forth the fact that he claimed to know the exact date of the end of times, and even wrote an essay on it, while the Quran clearly states that no one but Allah knows it.
Furthermore, good logic says that R.K rejected all hadiths, which is nothing but a lie. As R.K saw "salat" as a structured form of prayer, he based it upon hadiths that were thought to be preserved from the time of the messenger Abraham.
None of these terms is explained in the Quran, not because the Quran is NOT complete, but because God already taught us that all these rituals are to be inherited and learned from previous generations and are well known to them. All rituals should be devoted to GOD ALONE. Most of these practices are universally accepted.

Peace Bigmo.
OK. Here we go. Let me start by saying I believe 381 refers to a messenger after Muhammed. Then you have
64-- 1587-- 2366--2367--2369--2782--3714--3737--542...and so many more( if you want more) like
" Well educated but crazy" verse and " We have given you the seven pairs and the great Qoran..."
Peace. -
Peace lordfox.
If Rashad based salat on hadith, why did he correct how to pray?
Do you mean there is no salat in the Qoran?
The Qoran may not give the number of salat as 5 , but where does it say you cannot pray 5 times?
It clearly says devote your prayer to GOD Alone and he did that.
I do not lie deliberately. I fear my Lord. We are all accountable.
Peace.
