    Peace,

Obsession with the name "Allah" for many Muslims. They think God's proper name is 'Allah', while God only has a name so that we can refer to The Master in some way. I think some even called God "I am that I am". God is nameless or possessing any beautiful name we wish to refer with if we must (which is handy when using our verbal capability).

I did verily not mean that obsession with 'Allah' as an entity is negative.

    God bless you

          Nice MoF, very nice indeed!

By the way, the sectarians always have answers to everything. In my own sunni experience, the story was always that 'dua' is a prayer you utter wherever and whenever, without special format, but the 'salat' was an obligatory prayer with a set format.

What I always found odd and crazy was that 'salat' was called prayer, because there was never any praying done in the salat. It was just the running through the prescribed sentences and motions, and then when the 'salat' was over, you did you 'dua' before getting up. That was very odd to me. The actual calling on God (as per your current needs and thoughts) was just a minor thing attached at the end of the 'salat' before you finished the whole exercise. So it is indeed weird that 'salat' is called prayer... because it includes no prayer! It only includes a scripted parroting of sentences.

And the other very odd thing was that 'salat' was always considered the important thing... the thing not to miss, the thing which gave you credits and point, the obligatory thing that gave your spiritual nourishment.... while the 'dua' (normal common requesting and thanking prayer to God) was considered less. Indeed it is odd... Much more value is placed on something mechanistic, mindless, uniform and non-productive act (salat) while the personal, intimate, tailor made, situation specific, progress seeking act (dua) is not regarded very highly at all. Ironic. But I guess it really reflects the so called "muslim" societies... where conformity is obligatory and personal growth is repressed.

          Peace

            Peace brother Zulf,

It was already obvious to me the first time I figured out that means more of link, bond and/or connection that something is not right with how it is perceived and it cannot mean prayer because it merely indicates a (tight) connection between two (or more) entities.

on the other hand means calling/requesting and it suits the purpose of why you perform the activity at all.

Then people invented physical moves on top of that and we already know from the past that Pagans are fans of ritualistic behavior and they feel proud over their umany (same) words. Is it 4 times pair of prostrations or is it 3? Sounds like the story of Moses' sacrificed heifer or the past narratives of restrictions that people invented.

Not wishing to ridicule prostration because it is an ancient way of greeting someone extra humbly, but I do not like when people abuse a discourse to extract a meaning not there. If you are overwhelmed by the grace of God some people fall down on their knees in reverence without a text enforcing the behavior. And there is no compulsion.

Now with some distance to the behavior I find it a bit weird to first bow down and then raise up and then go down on knees and forehead on the ground. It is two greetings in the same. A prostration is a further bow down hence the expression bow down the head to the ground.

            God bless you

              True,
I always pondered on the 'mechanized ritual' with fetish of 'paying attention to every details' within Sunniism.
A slight differences even to the details of 'what finger to use during the attahiyat' can cause a stir within the community.
And they often mentioned on how the 'shiite' are 'infidel' due to the 'technicality of their salat' which is somewhat difference to the Sunni.
In Sunniism everyone is obsessed with 'similarity' and 'conformity'...

I then decided to 'look outside' and see who else has similar fetish as 'us'..
Christians doesn't have the same fetishes to at least equal degree..
Buddhist.. they're liberal.. you're free to meditate in any way you see fit.

And then aha!!.. Rabbanical Orthodox Judaism...
Not only they share the same 'fetish' of 'the detailed technicalities of praying ritual' (what to say, where to face, the body movement etc..) they go even further to govern on what dress and motive of the shawl one should be wearing during such ritual.

Besides Rabbanical Orthodox Judaism I haven't found others with at least the same degree of fetish towards 'similarity' and 'conformity' on the technicality of ritual as Islam.
Which then shaped my opinion that Islam is actually Judaism 2.0

But I guess it really reflects the so called "muslim" societies... where conformity is obligatory and personal growth is repressed.

Conformity and repression of 'thinking' is something that Judaism and their proto-Judaism Tradition commonly share..

Yes, the repression of free thinking is often part and parcel of organized religion, but it is basically found everywhere. FEAR is the thing which makes people hate free thinking. Fear goes opposite of peace and unity and love. Fear rules this world, and most of religion. Sometimes it's not fear of some enemy, but instead fear of being deviant and diverge from conformity, or fear of truly exploring and searching for enhanced understanding and what that may bring about.

                Peace

                    Peace GODSubmitter,

Yes indeed. But you need to hang on to the rope of God first for nearness and continue to purify yourself to receive guidance and once becoming better on those parameters and turning closer to God then there will also be immense knowledge and wisdom and together it means peace and prosperity.

Those who have faith and do good without giving God partners and who follow the decree and judgment will fall under the category "God guides as He wills". It is an encouragement for those who refuse to divide themselves into sects to feel that God will guide them and for sectarians not to be so full of pride.

                    God bless you

God's command - The true one
We have noticed that there are no compulsory prayers in Islam, but the so-called praying is a spontaneous reliance upon God which comes with faith in the way of requesting and glorifying God. The servant of God is responsible him/herself for glorying God day and night.

And Hajj and Umrah is something utterly different than what is traditionally implied. I have an early draft of my specific translation of involved verses and there is something else that emerges with some research into the mistreated verses.

"Hajj" and "Umrah" - What does it truly involve?

Let me show that the words "Hajj" and "Umrah" are no more than standard Arabic words and no words with magical properties part of a ritualistic behavior. It is initial confirmation of faith at the local assembly of God and not a travel of thousands of miles to get to a black cube of ancient Arabia. The translation is by far any accurate and full of errors, but something else emerges behind the guise of century long falsehood.

2196 And fulfill the joining and the accept of God, but if you have problems with following the guidance and have no clear minds until the guidance permit then whoever of you is one of preoccupied or is being false to his mind then he may redeem by fasting or honesty or a deed, then when you are faithful then whoever makes the accept and decides to join then he shall follow the guidance, but for he who cannot do this then he must fast for three days during the joining and seven when he returns; this will make a complete ten. This is for those whose family is not already of the ones who respect the restrictions and be aware of God, and know that God is severe in retribution.

Obviously the traditional interpretation did not make any sense while this one at least begin to show some sense even if I have not been able to accurately represent the Arabic discourse in all instances due to failure in understanding of what the Arabic words should be. I know the traditional interpretation, but it is to no avail because I doubt it is right whatsoever. There is no ailment to the head or illness; that is just weird and I highly doubt that it refers to illness but rather something with having a polluted soul unable to accept the guidance of God. The procedures to perform when you cannot see clearly about the guidance of God is to do things that would make God open the seal on you that you may see clearly, and doing something good or fasting or "honesty" (which I did not get a viable interpretation of, but perhaps implore God in honesty to help make a decision).

                        Ramadhan - What is it?

I have a partial research result so far yet important to people so I reveal it in the middle of traditional Ramadhan month
I have an experimental translation of 2183-190 as well, but I save that for a future time, however with current insight I see that it has to do with redeeming sins and shaping up from a previous lifestyle that was not so righteous. The traditional interpretations/translations are in utter chaos and it is difficult to unwind what they truly wish to say beneath all that falsehood. I know what they want to say, but I need something to present to you that you may see the light. But there are few words at all that are interpreted as they should. But I can say that verse numbering plays a big role in misrepresenting the passages and sentences are cut in half pretty often. See

2183-184 O you who have faith, fasting has been decreed for you as it was decreed for those before you, perhaps you may be righteous a few number of days.

The order of the words in a translation obviously play a big role in how the passage is understood and it likely means that fasting is used to redeem for sins that you may become righteous after some days of fasting.

And here comes the mighty falsehood which I only have an experimental translation of so far

2183-184 ...perhaps you may be righteous a few number of days whoever of you is polluted or drifting, then the same number from different days then a comparable number of days...

Green I suspect that the phrase is supposed to continue after . Faman is supposed to be part of the previous phrase and not to form a new clause. is just a relative pronoun for third person, probably referred to as one/ones or he/she/it.
Red The word does seem to mean a comparison which may be a reason why the word is just with ayum akhar. It is like matching the sins to how long to perform the fasting.
Blue Merely experimental interpretation, but I did not take them so far from the traditional meaning however made them more sensible.

2184 ...and on those who can afford it ransoming by feeding poor ones and who volunteers for good then it is better for him...

2184-185 ...and to abstain is better for you if you understand month of Ramadhan the recitation was revealed wherein is a guidance for the people and signs of the guidance and the distinction for whoever of you is polluted or drifting among you is observant of that information this month should abstain a comparable number of days...

Red Obviously I have a problem with this phrase, but the message is still coming forth.

2185-187 ...and God intends ease and not difficulty that you may complete the number and magnify God that you were guided and that may become grateful and when my servants ask about me I am indeed near responding to the request of the caller who calls me so let them respond to me and with faith in me that they be observant of what is permitted for you...

Green Notice that I think that the subsequent phrase in 2187 belongs to the previous passage and not to form a new clause.

2187 during the night of fasting to approach your women sexually. They are a garment for you and you are a garment for them.

I leave these phrases untranslated at this moment, but they just represent a misogynist men "religion" as if men during a fasting would even think of having sex while exhausted of the day in fasting. I think they refer to the purification achieved by the fasting however and it seems to be highly related to 2188 (!)

2188 And do not consume your money between you unjustly by bribing the decision makers so that you may consume a part of the money of other people sinfully while you know!

2187 ...and seek what God decreed for you...

Refers to the reformation after cleansing yourself and repenting to God.

Not yet finished translation but I paste it out anyway

2187-188 ...and while you are ones who respect the limitations of God do not commit them hence God makes signs clear that they may do right and do not err yourselves by consuming each other's properties and present it to the judge so that you may consume a part of the properties of the people while knowing.

I strongly think that the 188 is related to the previous phrase of having repented by fasting and not to repeat your mistakes and follow the decree and judgment of God.

Blue I consider this translation faulty, but I could not yet translate it.

I end this by just pasting another last experimental translation of 2189 which speaks of joining the assembly of God.

2189 They ask you about "the new moons", say "They show the periods for the people and for the joining and it is not right to enter the assembly backwards but the righteous who are aware of God and come to the assembly through the front and are aware of God that you may become successful and fight those who fight you to the way of God and do not transgress because God does not like ones who transgress.
Blue I have doubts that these refer to what they traditionally are thought to meant, but I have no alternative at this time so I leave them untouched.

Important is that is speaks about closing in on God and joining the assembly of God, seeking God's Nearness and Guidance.

                        Remember or regard God?

Let me show you that God does not regard you as a fool who forget God the next minute

Dhekr (&#1615 is traditionally thought to mean remember, but when used the same in all instances of the recitation it feels as if God thinks you are a fool who cannot remember God for even a few minutes.

240 O Children of Israel, remember regard My blessings that I had blessed you with, and fulfill your pledge to Me that I may fulfill My pledge to you, and reverence Me alone.

263 And We took your covenant, and raised the mount above you ?Take what We have given you with strength, and remember regard what is in it that you may be righteous.?

2152 So remember regard Me that I may remember regard you, and be thankful to Me and do not oppose.

Red Do you really think that God would forget about you no matter which path you choose? No it talks about regarding God that God will regard/care for you.

2198 There is no sin upon you to seek goodness from your Master. So when you disperse from the elevated place, then regard God at the symbol which is restricted, and regard Him as He has guided you; for you were straying before that.

HEY! I saw a cutting of a passage again. Look at this

2197 ...O you who possess intelligence,
2198 ...there is no sin upon you to seek goodness from your Lord. So when you disperse from the elevated place, then remember regard God at the symbol which is restricted (?), and remember regard Him as He has guided you; for you were straying before that.

2200 When you have completed your rites deeds, then remember regard God as you remember regard your fathers or even greater. From among the people is he who says ?Our Master, give us from this world!? But in the Hereafter he has no part.

2203 And remember regard God during a number of days. Whoever hurries to two days, there is no sin upon him; and whoever delays, there is no sin upon him if he is being righteous. And be aware of God, and know that it is to Him that you will be gathered.

Obviously it talks about doing deeds which is a way of showing regard for God.

2221 And do not marry the female associators until they have faith. For a faithful female servant is better than an associator even if she attracts you. And do not marry the male associators until they have faith. For a faithful male servant is better than an associator even if he attracts you. Those call to the Fire, while God is calling to the Paradise and forgiveness by His consent. He clarifies His revelations for the people that they may remember regard (them).

2231 And if you have divorced the women, and they have reached their required interim period, then either you remain together equitably, or part ways equitably. And do not reconcile with them so you can harm them out of animosity; whoever does so is doing wrong to his soul; and do not take the revelations of God as mockery. And remember regard the blessings of God upon you, and what was sent down to you of the decree and the judgment, He warns you with it. And be aware of God and know that God is knowledgeable of all things.

Regard means that you are heedful and aware of the things that God does for you. In a previous passage I pasted about your fathers it means the same about being appreciative for all the hardship your parents went through in taking care of you whilst you were growing up.

2238 Maintain the unities and the best unity and assist God dutifully.
2239 But if you are thinking, then you may do so while walking or riding (?). If you become faithful, then remember regard God as He has taught you what you did not know.

2269-270 He grants judgment to whom He chooses, and whoever is granted judgment has been given much good. Only those who possess intelligence will remember care and whatever you spend out of your monies, or whatever you pledge as a promise, then God knows it. The wicked have no supporters.

Green In English regard/heed did not suit the context while care follows the base word's same meaning. And the subsequent clause is part of the same paragraph, further hint that the verse numbering is an invention causing further difficulty in interpreting the scripture and can thus not be written by the person who composed the narrative and recitation.

                        And same here (care)

37 He is the One who sent down to you the decree, from which there are lawgiving revelations; they are the essence of the decree; and others which are of a similitude. As for those who have a disease in their hearts, they will follow that which is of a similitude, seeking to confuse, and seeking to derive an interpretation. But none know its interpretation except God and those who are well founded in knowledge; they say ?We have faith in it, all is from our Master.? And none will remember care except those who possess intelligence.

341 He said ?My Master, make for me a sign.? He said ?Your sign is not to speak to the people for three days except by symbol, and remember regard your Lord greatly, and glorify at dusk and dawn.?

Skipping certain verses which do not say anything more than I already said.

3134-135 The ones who spend in prosperity and hardship, and who repress anger, and who pardon the people; God loves the good doers and those who if they commit lewdness, or wrong themselves, they remember regard God and seek forgiveness for their sins. And who can forgive the sins except God? And they do not persist in what they have done while they know.

4142 The hypocrites seek to deceive God, while He is deceiving them; and if they stand to make the contact prayer, they do so lazily, only to show the people; they do not remember care about/regard God except very little.

57 And remember regard the blessings of God over you and His covenant that He has bound you with, for which you have said ?We hear and obey,? and be aware of God; for God knows what is in the chests.

591 The devil only wants to cause strife between you through alcohol and gambling, and to repel you away from remembering regarding God and from the unity. Will you be deterred?

680 And his people debated with him. He said ?Do you debate with me regarding God, when He has guided me? I do not fear that which you have set up except if my Master wills; my Lord encompasses all things in knowledge; will you not remember care??

6126 And this is the straight path of your Master. We have fully detailed the revelations to a people who remember care.

6152 ?And do not come near the money of the orphan, except for what is best, until he reaches his independence; and give honestly full measure and weight equitably. We do not burden a soul except with what it can bear, and if you speak then be just even if against a relative; and regarding the pledges made to God, you shall observe them. This He has enjoined you that you may remember heed (it).?

73 Follow what was sent down to you from your Lord, and do not follow besides Him any supporters. Little do you remember care!

726 O Children of Adam, We have sent down for you garments to alleviate your bodies, and feathers; and the garment of righteousness is the best. That is from the signs of God, perhaps they will remember care.

7205 And remember regard your Lord within yourself, in humility and in reverence; and without loudness in words, during the morning and the evening. And do not be of the careless ones.

9126 Do they not see they are tested every year once or twice? But then they do not repent, nor do they remember pay attention.

103 Your Lord is God who has created the heavens and the earth in six days, then He settled upon the Throne; He manages all affairs. There is no intercessor except after His permission. Such is God your Lord, so serve Him. Would you not remember pay attention?

11111-112 And to each your Lord will recompense their works. He is expert in what they do so stand straight as you were commanded, and those who have repented with you, and do not transgress. He is Seer over what you do.
11113 And do not lean towards those who have wronged else you will incur the Fire; and you will not have besides God any allies, and you will not be victorious.
11114 And hold the communion/union/unity at a part of the day, and the near part of the night. The good deeds take away the bad. This is a reminder regard to those who remember pay attention.
11115 And be patient, for God does not waste the reward of the good doers.

You need to see that the red highlighted text is part of keeping the union/unity as dividing into sects is opposite to keeping the unity of the assembly of God. Salat is a kind of practice at the same time as being the union between ones with faith.

1245 And the one of them who had been saved and remembered after all this time said ?I will tell you of its interpretation, so let me be sent.?

Important to notice is that the word dhekr is not in that passage.

1285 They said ?By God, you will never cease to remember care about Joseph until you become senile or become dead!?

1319 Is he who knows that the truth has been sent down to you from your Lord like he who is blind? Only those who possess intelligence will remember pay attention.

1328 The ones who had faith, and their hearts are relieved by the remembrance regard of God; for in the remembrance regard of God the hearts are relieved.

1612 And He has commissioned for you the night and the day, and the sun and the moon, and the stars are commissioned by His command. In that are signs for a people who comprehend.
1613 And what He has placed for you on the earth in various colors. In that are signs for a people who remember pay attention.

1617 Is He who creates the same he who does not create? Will you not pay attention?

1741 And We have dispatched in this recitation (Qur'an) that they may remember pay attention, but it only increases their aversion!

1828 And have patience upon yourself regarding those who call on their Lord at dawn and dusk seeking His face, and let not your eyes overlook them that you seek the beauty of this worldly life. And do not obey he whom We have made his heart heedless of Our remembrance regard and he followed his desire, and his fate was lost.

1967 Does man not remember pay attention to that We created him before, when he was not a thing?

2014 ?I am God, there is no god except Me, so serve Me and hold the union for My remembrance sake.?

2034 ?And remember regard You plentifully.?

2042 ?Go, you and your brother with Our signs, and do not linger from My remembrance regard.?

2044 ?So say to him soft words, perhaps he will remember pay attention or be concerned.?

2099 And it is such that We tell to you the news of what has passed. And We have given you from Us a remembrance regard.

20113 And it was such that We sent it down an Arabic revelation, and We dispatched in it the warnings, perhaps they will become aware or will cause them to remember regard it.

20124 ?And whoever turns away from My remembrance sake, then he will have a miserable life, and We will raise him blind on the Day of Resurrection.?

2110 We have sent down to you a decree in which is your remembrance regard. Do you not comprehend?

Pay careful attention to the fact that the passage becomes nonsensical by adhering to remember/reminder/remembrance here.

2136 And when those who oppose see you, they take you for mockery ?Is this the one who speaks about your gods!? While in the remembrance regard of the Almighty they are opponents!

Here you have the absolute killer for the delusion of dhekr as reminder. The Arabic language in the passage cannot be misunderstood in this case (bi-dhekri alrahmani).

2142 Say ?Who can protect you during the night and the day from the Almighty?? No, they are turning away from the remembrance regard of their Lord.

21105 And We have written in the Psalms ?After the sake, that the earth will be inherited by My servants who do good.?

I am too tired to really find the optimal translation here.

2383 ?We, as well as our fathers, have been promised this from before. This is nothing except fictional tales of old!?
2384 Say ?To whom is the earth and whoever is in it if you know??
2385 They will say ?To God.? Say ?Will you then not remember pay attention!?
2386 Say ?Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the great Throne??
2387 They will say ?To God.? Say ?Will you then not be aware??

Well, it seems as if their ancestors did not have the right faith either and then reminder in 2385 seems like a bit contradiction.

23110 But you mocked them, so much so that they made you forget My remembrance regard, and you used to laugh at them.

241 A chapter which We have sent down and imposed, and We have sent down in it clear revelations that you may remember pay attention.

2427 O you who have faith, do not enter any assemblies except your own unless you perceive a welcome and you greet the people in them. This is best for you, perhaps you will remember pay attention.
2428 But, if you do not find anyone in them then do not enter until you are given permission. And if you are told ?Go back,? then go back for it is better for you. And God is aware of what you do.
2429 There is no sin upon you that you enter assemblies which are abandoned if in them there are belongings of yours. And God knows what you reveal and what you hold back.

2437 By men not distracted by trade or sale from the remembrance regard of God and holding the union, and contributing towards purification. They fear a Day when the hearts and sight will be overturned.

2547 And He is the One who made for you the night as a cover, and sleep for resting, and He made the day to move about in.
2548 And He is the One who sent the winds to spread between the hands of His mercy. And We sent down from the sky water which is pure.
2549 So that We revive a dead land with it and give drink to many of Our creation of livestock and people.
2550 And We have distributed it among them so that they may remember pay attention, but most of the people refuse to be anything but opponents.
2551 And if We wish, We could send to every town a warner.

26227 Except for those who have faith, and do good works, and remember regard God greatly, and were victorious after they were wronged. As for those who did wrong, they will know which fate they will meet.

3341-42 O you who have faith, you shall remember heed/regard God frequently and glorify Him morning and evening.
3343 He is the One who makes contact unity with you, along with His angels, to bring you out of darkness and into the light. And He is ever Merciful towards the ones with faith.

3832 He said ?I have enjoyed materialism more than I enjoyed the remembrance regard for my Lord; until it had set beyond the horizon!?

399 Is one better who is dutiful during the night, respectfully and with dedication, fearing thinking of the Hereafter, and seeking the might of his Master? Say ?Are those who know equal to those who do not know?? Only those who possess intelligence will remember pay attention.

3922 If God comforts the chest of a person to harmony, then he will be on a light from his Master. So woe to those whose hearts are hardened against remembering regarding God. They have gone far astray.

4044 ?You will come to remember notice what I am telling you, and I leave my affair in this matter to God; for God is the Seer of the servants.?

Please see the truth and that I am just trying to help you. I cut it here for now.

                        God bless you

Looks like I agree that dhikr is suitable to be understood as "regard" or "pay attention" or "care".

InshaAllah, I choose "regard" over "remember",

unless my Lord shows me for something better later on.

My reason is because I think regard have much deeper meaning than just merely remember.

I think "regard" is wonderful combination from remember + pay attention/heed + appreciate/respect.

If someone regard God, then 'automatically' he/she surely also remember Him.

But if someone remember God, then it isn't necessarily mean that he/she also appreciates/respects Him.

                          Salm.

                            Peace JavaLatte,

I did not merely choose regard, pay attention etc just because I like it better but because it is the literal quality and how the original Arabic is supposed to be understood.

It is the same with all the works in this thread. I attempt to pinpoint the exact literal meaning without any external bias.

A problem is that often you cannot rely on any available dictionaries or any other than finding a reasonable and logical combination. I would not trust a traditional interpretation for one second without carefully investigating it first especially if it sounds weird.

                            God bless you

                              Peace Jafar,

Which then shaped my opinion that Islam is actually Judaism 2.0

It is that indeed. The question is which of them is the worst, e.g. which one has invented most rules. It is like a hidden competition between the two who can indulge in most conjecture.

In the recitation (Qur'an) the reader is warned about the phenomenon of inventing strange rules and it gives criticism to Judaism about the same thing that Judaism 2.0 falls victim to and yet "Muslims" criticize all around them those who are not them and they act like "the chosen ones 2.0" and they seem like in this passage (with modification for comparison purposes)

2113 And the Jews say ?The Christians and Muslims have no basis,? and the Christians say ?The Jews and Muslims have no basis,? and the Muslims say ?The Jews and Christians have no basis,? while they are all reciting the decree! Similarly, those who do not know have said the same thing. God will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection in what they dispute.

Is it three or is it four sets of prostrations on this prayer? Which chapter am I to recite and how many times do I have to repeat (parrot) them? It looks like this sarcasm (which feels as if God has humor)

6143 Eight in pairs from the lambs two, and from the goats two. Say ?Is it the two males that He forbade or the two females, or what the wombs of the two females bore? Inform me if you are truthful!?

6144 And from the camels two, and from the cattle two. Say ?Is it the two males that He forbade or the two females, or what the wombs of the two females bore? Or were you witnesses when God ordered you with this?? Who is more wicked than he who invents lies about God to misguide the people without knowledge. God does not guide the wicked people.

Absolutely nothing indicates that there is a stereotypical kind of ancient prayer ritual to be performed in conjunction with learning about God with the recitation (Qur'an). And furthermore it is weird to parrot the same kind of prayer several times like as if God hears them because of their many words. And it seems like in some adventure computer games where you have to perform a set of movements to trigger an event. It seems pretty much like Paganism to please their idols (stone statues etc without any intelligence) with equally primitive rituals.

I was slightly confused when I first began to learn about the recitation because I was foolish to listen to people when I read it and I thought that you should pray in a certain way even though such and such is not implied by that recorded copy of the recited words of alleged Muhammad. Absolutely no messenger that is narrated about in the recitation is recorded to have performed a ritual such as the one in Judaism 2.0 but they have prayed to God in requesting things and they have been commanded to glorify God with unspecified methods morning and evening. It could be even such easy thing as read a table prayer at breakfast or similar or go into the bedchamber and recite the so-called "Lord's prayer" and nothing says how many times to re-read it.

Those who pray like Pagans and with slave-like strict timings in Judaism 2.0 can do so, but I wonder how much closer to God that will bring them. Like I said; do they think that God will respond to them as a result of their many words?

Prostration in all honor; I am not against the ancient practice of bowing down the head to the ground because that is a legitimate old way of showing admiration and respect. And I may accept that Mr. Muhammad could possibly have called upon God by reading a prayer and then fallen down on his head in homage to God (however I doubt that he repeated the same thing several times unless he would have committed an error or was exceedingly thankful and then still likely not rising up to parrot the same thing twice) and I doubt that he did not implore God about his issues in conjunction with doing that physical move. It is the mindset that I am criticizing as in the ritualistic compulsory behavior and at least I am warned by Jesus in the Gospels where Jesus allegedly talks about "Pagans with their many words".

And prostration is a very showing kind of prayer too as if you brag about your devotion to God, particularly if you are seen by men (although I suppose no one is impressed today?)

If God would have commanded the ones with faith towards praying in a ritual with bowing down then up again and then down in prostration then rinse and repeat up to four times then God would naturally have announced that in the recitation or there would have been hints about in in previous fragments of scriptural history as well. It would not have been loosely explained by postures here and there in the recitation but it would have been all in one place. However, now is the fact that the implied words allegedly said to be postures are talking about something different such as s-j-d means respect and ruku means humble.

So it is the substance and intention of the prayer that is important and not how it is performed.

Even timings are invented based on conjecture and in any case there is no other timings than talk about assalat al-fajr and al-isha. It is the only verse with timing for as-salat that is not a repetition from other parts of the recitation. However, much of the recitation seems to be aimed towards a cleric and his/her life within the assembly (talking about private time before and after salat and also a noontime break in the middle of the day as if he/she comes home from the house of God to rest.

Here are verses with alleged timings.

11114 And hold the contact prayer unity at two parts (?) part of the day in your intention and in the near part of the night indeed the good deeds take away the bad. This is a reminder regard to those who remember pay attention

                              The first

Red This one is compatible with assalat al-fajr and al-isha verily, and before and after that is private time. I think should not be interpreted as dual noun but the suffix as a pronoun referring to your day. And I do not give a heck about diacritical marks because I do not think they are a part of the original composition.
Green This phrase within the passage is important for comprehension here.

If red would be plural then the recitation would contradict itself because there are no further timings about any more than two sets of timings throughout the day.

But to be honest with you I do not think that tarafi is supposed to refer to part at all but tarafa's secondary meaning of gaze as in keep doing good for unity during the day and the verse is followed by "The good deeds take away the bad." That is why I think the in taraf refers to as a pronoun. And taraf is likely a word of similitude in the context as to have it in perception. And I also wildly intervene here and think that "inna alhasanati yuthhibna assaiati" is and should be in conjunction with the previous phrase as in that your evil deeds are blotted out by nightfall if you keep your mind towards unity and the good deeds.

2238 Maintain the unities; and the middle best unity and assist God dutifully.

It does not refer to timing whatsoever much like I think brother Wakas has told before.

Sadly I have no time to go through other alleged timings because I need to dash.

                              God bless you

Deeper contextual analysis of salat/communionOkay. I have already claimed that communion is the English equivalent of the ancient Arabic word 'salat'. Before I continue, just the various definitions for the word from the year 1828 version of Webster's American English dictionary. After that we will just analyze the various contexts where 'salat' occurs to see what happens with the language when changed. Salawa , the base/root word from which salat is derived connotes (by dictionary definition) on connection, communication, relation, relationship, tie, link and linkage. And interestingly; is an Arabic Christian word for Communion. My suspicion is though that that hamim (close/near) is just a word not needed for it to connote the older understanding of communion and not the Christian sectarian definition. Even if I am personally 100% sure about the research I have committed into this I wish to deliver something that will eventually convince someone that I actually am presenting the true alternative for the Arabic discourse that explains why there seems to be "praying birds" and very dogmatic teachings to oppress people who do not perform "contact prayer" as the word is traditionally thought to mean. The truth is that it means the communion between birds or the people within a society and not for people to forcefully being told to observe a ritualistic prayer continuously. Enough rambling though, I will let the passages of the recitation to alleged Muhammad speak for themselves mostly with salat translated as communion and some logical commentary to show my point. I know most dislike footnotes and parentheses, but this is for demonstrative purposes.

COMMUNION, noun 1. Fellowship; intercourse between two persons or more; interchange of transactions, or offices; a state of giving and receiving; agreement; concord.
We are naturally led to seek communion and fellowship with other.
What communion hath light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 614.
                                2. Mutual intercourse or union in religious worship, or in doctrine and discipline.
The Protestant churches have no communion with the Romish church.
                                3. The body of Christians who have one common faith and discipline. The three grand communions into which the Christian church is divided, are those of the Greek, the Romish and the Protestant churches.
                                4. The act of communicating the sacrament of the Eucharist; the celebration of the Lords supper; the participation of the blessed sacrament. The fourth council of Lateran decrees that every believer shall receive the communion at least at Easter.
                                5. Union of professing Christians in a particular church; as, members in full communion
COMMUNION-service, in the liturgy of the Episcopal church, is the office for the administration of the holy sacrament.

23 Those who "build up" faith () for the unknown, and establish () communion, and from Our provisions to them they spend.

Red The 'ya' as prefix is very important for comprehension.

240 O Children of Israel, regard My blessings that I had blessed you with, and fulfill your pledge to Me that I may fulfill My pledge to you, and reverence Me alone.
241 And have faith in what I have sent down, something honest/rightful to what is with you, and do not be the first to disbelieve in it! And do not purchase with My revelations a cheap gain, and of Me you shall be aware.
242 And do not confound the truth with falsehood, nor keep the truth secret while you know.
243 And keep the communion, and contribute towards purification, and are humble with those who are humble.
244 Do you exhort the people to do good, but forget yourselves, while you are proclaiming the decree? Do you not comprehend...?
245 ...and seek help through patience and through the communion. It is a difficult thing, but not so for the meek.
246 The ones who conceive that they will meet their Master and that to Him they will return.

Does not the word start to shine true even for the stubborn of you who cling unto salat as contact prayer?

Green All the involved passages are all related to each other.

281 Indeed, whoever gains a sin, and is surrounded by his mistakes; those are the people of the Fire, in it they will abide.
282 And those who have faith and do good works, they are the people of Paradise, in it they will abide.
283 And We took the covenant of the Children of Israel ?You shall not serve except God, and do good to your parents, and regard the relatives, and the orphans, and the needy, and say kind things to the people and keep the communion and contribute towards purification.? But then you turned away, except for a few of you; you were objecting.
284 And We have taken a covenant with you ?You shall not spill the blood of each other, nor expel each other from your homes.? And you agreed to this while bearing witness.
285 But then here you are killing each other and expelling a group of you from their homes; you act towards them with evil and animosity. And if they come to you as prisoners, you ransom them while it was unlawful for you to expel them! Do you have faith in part of the decree and oppose a part? The punishment for those among you who do so is humiliation in this worldly life, and on the Day of Resurrection they will be delivered to the most severe retribution. God is not unaware of what you all do.

Red I.e. they did not keep communion but divided into feuding sects and waged war with each other and oppression occurred and they did not uphold the decree.

2104 O you who have faith, do not say ?Shepherd us,? but say ?Be patient with us,? and listen. For the opponents is a painful retribution.
2105 Neither do those who have opposed from among the adherents to the decree, nor from among the associators, wish that any good comes down to you from your Master. But God chooses with His might whom He wishes; and from God is the greatest grace.
2106 We do not duplicate a sign, or make it forgotten, unless We bring one which is like it or even greater. Did you not know that God is capable of all things?
2107 Did you not know that to God is the leader of the heavens and the earth, and that you do not have besides God any guardian or supporter?...
2108 ...or do you want to ask your messenger as Moses was asked before? Whoever replaces faith with opposition, he has indeed strayed from the right path...
2109 ...many of the adherents to the decree have wished that they could return you to being opponents after your coming to faith, out of envy from their souls after the truth was made clear to them. You shall forgive them and overlook until God brings His will. God is capable of all things...
2110 ...and keep communion and contribute towards purification, and what you bring forth of good for your souls you will find it with God. God is watching what you do...

The verse numbering throughout the recitation (Qur'an) is trap against the right comprehension of the scripture. I am very ascertained that it was not part of the original composition. It deliberately separates the passages so that they simply glide aside from each other losing focus on the context.

2122 O Children of Israel, regard My blessings that I had blessed you with, and that I had preferred you over all the worlds.
2123 And beware of a Day when no soul can avail another soul, nor will any amendment be accepted from it, nor will any intercession help it; they will not be supported.
2124 And Abraham was tested by words from His Master, which he fulfilled. He said ?I will make you a guide for the people.? He said ?And also from my progeny?? He said ?My pledge will not encompass the wicked.?
2125 And We have made the family/assembly to be a model for the people and a have faith in and you shall take from the example of Abraham ones who keep the communion and We entrusted to Abraham and Ishmael ?You shall purify My family/assembly for those who visit, and those who are devoted, and the respectfully humble.?
2126 And Abraham said ?My Master, make this a faithful land, and provide for its inhabitants of the fruits for whoever has faith in God and the Last Day.? He said ?As for he who opposes, I will let him enjoy for a while, then I will force him to the retribution of the Fire. What a miserable destiny!?
2127 And as Abraham raised from the assembly/family its foundations, along with Ishmael...

Red They connote on similar things but it is not necessarily biological family but more the group of people like an assembly of Abraham's example. Most important is that the passages never speak of any house whatsoever.

2153 O you who have faith, seek help through patience and communion because God is with the patient ones...
2154 ...and do not say of those who are killed in the cause of God that they are dead; no, they are alive but you do not perceive...
2155 ...and We will test you with some fear and hunger, and a shortage in money and lives and fruits. And give good news to those who are patient.
2156 The ones who, when afflicted with adversity, they say ?We are to God and to Him we will return.?
2157 For those there will be communion from their Master and a might, they are the guided ones.

Be patient and keep together is basically what the passages say.

2174 Surely, those who conceal ignore what God has sent down of the decree, and they purchase with it a cheap price "keep it in low regard"; they will not eat in their bellies except the Fire, and God will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them, and they will have a painful retribution.
2175 These are the ones who have purchased straying with guidance, and retribution for forgiveness; they have no patience towards the Fire.
2176 This is because God has sent down the true decree; and those who have disputed about the decree are in far opposition.
2177 Piety is not to turn your minds towards the east and the west, but pious is one who has faith in God and the Last Day, and the angels, and the decree, and the prophets, and who gives money out of love to the relatives, and the orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer, and those who ask, and to free the slaves; and who keeps the communion and who contributes towards purification; and those who keep their pledges when they make a pledge, and those who are patient in the face of adversity and hardship and when in despair. These are the ones who have been honest, and these are the righteous.

Green It cannot be conceal because one must be a fool not knowing the decree as the adherents to the decree are so prevalent.
Red I take that as an idiomatic phrase similar to the one suggested.
Blue The phrase is obviously idiomatic about taking a step away from the decree and communion. has hardly ever referred to face within the whole scripture and even God has one according to the text (!)

2238 Retain the communion; and the best communion and support God dutifully (?)...
2239 ...even if you are (still) considering, then you may do so while walking or riding. If you become faithful, then regard God as He has taught you what you did not know.

Experimental translation of these two passages, but something like this I am sure they are supposed to imply. It means that you should try to build up faith for God even if you are still considering about the faith by supporting God, the unknown.

2274 Those who spend their money in the night and in the day, secretly and openly, they will have their recompense with their Master, there is no fear over them nor will they grieve.
2275 Those who consume usury do not rise except as one being influenced by the touch of the devil. That is because they have said ?Trade is the same as usury.? While God has made trade lawful, and He has made usury unlawful. Whoever has received understanding from His Master and ceases, then he will be forgiven for what was before this and his case will be with God. But whoever returns, then they are the people of the Fire, in it they will abide.
2276 God condemns usury, and He grants growth to the honest. And God does not love any wicked sinner.
2277 Those who have faith and do good works and keeps the communion and contribute towards purification; they will have their recompense with their Master and there is no fear over them nor will they grieve.
2278 O you who have faith, be aware of God and give up what is left from usury, if you are truly ones with faith.
2279 And if you will not do this, then be informed of a war from God and His messenger; but if you repent, then you will have back your principal money, you will not be wronged nor will you wrong.

338 It was then that Zachariah prayed his Master; he said ?My Master, grant me from You a good progeny. You are the hearer of prayer ().?
339 So the angels summoned him while he was assisting in uniting, in the temple enclosure ?God gives you glad tidings of John, one truthful to the word of God, and a master, and steadfast, and a prophet from the upright.

Red In this example you see the rightful word for prayer too quite neatly. Is it not lovely how the message suddenly comes so clear? Zachariah is teaching about God.

443 O you who have faith, do not come near the communion while you are confused, until you know what you are saying. Nor if you have had intercourse, unless a wayfarer, until you wash. And if you are ill, or traveling, or one of you has excreted feces, or you had sexual contact with the women, and could not find water, then you shall select from the clean soil; you shall wipe your faces and hands. God is Pardoning, Forgiving.
444 Did you not see those who have been given a portion of the decree? They purchased straying, and they want you to stray from the path.
445 And God is fully aware of your enemies; and God is enough as a supporter, and God is enough as a victor.

I reject the whole traditional interpretation of this passage except the beginning. I have not been able to translate it even though I have experimental theories which I do not reveal here. But they have nothing to do with washing. 444-45 are highly related to 443. And despite not having the right translation I know the gist of what it talks about and it talks about wandering off from the decree.

475 And why do you not fight in the cause of God, when the weak among the men and women and children say ?Our Master, bring us out of this town whose people are wicked, and grant us from Yourself a supporter, and grant us from Yourself a victor!?
476 Those who have faith fight in the cause of God, while those who oppose fight in the cause of evil; so fight the supporters of the devil, for the planning of the devil is weak.
477 Did you not see those who were told ?Cease your aggression and keep the communion and contribute towards purification.? But when fighting was decreed for them, a group of them were concerned towards the people as they would have been concerned towards God or even more so. And they said ?Our Master, why did You decree fighting for us? If only You would delay for us until another time.? Say ?The enjoyment of this world is little, and the Hereafter is far better for those who are aware; you will not be wronged in the least.?
478 Wherever you may be, death will find you, even if you are in fortified towers. If any good befalls them, they say ?This is from God,? and if any evil befalls them, they say ?This is from you!? Say ?All is from God;? what is wrong with these people, they barely understand any narrative!
479 Any good that befalls you is from God, and any evil that befalls you is from yourself. We have sent you as a messenger to the people and God is enough as a witness.

4101 And if you go forth in the land, then there is no harm that you avoid from the communion, if you fear that the opponents will try you. The opponents are to you a clear enemy.
4102 And if you are with them and you make establishment of the unity for them, then let a group from among them who assist you and let them bring their weapons; and when they have acknowledged then let them be behind you; and let a group who has not yet made the communion come and unite with you, and let them be wary and have weapons ready with them. The opponents hope that you would neglect your weapons and goods so they can come upon you in one blow. There is no sin upon you if you are impeded by rainfall, or if you are ill, that you place down your weapons. And be wary. God has prepared for the opponents a humiliating retribution.
4103 Then, if you have completed the communion, regard God while standing, or sitting, or on your sides. Then, if you are faithful, keep the communion. Indeed, the communion for the ones with faith is a decreed matter...
4104 ...and do not falter in the pursuit of the remaining group. If you are feeling exhausted, then they are also feeling exhausted as you are; and you seek from God what they do not seek. God is Knowledgeable, Wise.

The passages speak of when alleged Muhammad is out preaching about the faith of God to help people to the communion of God and not about a ritualistic prayer. When he was out preaching about the information of God he was at risk many times and thus he was to be secured while preaching. Muhammad was "employed" by God to preach the message. I sincerely hope that there is a wise person who sees that this is the logical interpretation of the passages.

4141 Those who linger and observe you, if you have a victory from God they say ?Were we not with you?? And if the opponents have success, they say ?Did we not side with you and deter the ones with faith from you?? God will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection, and God will not grant the opponents any success over the ones with faith.
4142 The hypocrites seek to deceive God, while He is deceiving them; and if they assist in communion, they assist so reluctantly, only to show the people; they do not regard God except very little.
4143 They are swaying in-between, neither with this group nor with that group. Whoever God will misguide, you will not find for him a way.

4159 And from the adherents to the decree are those who refused to "start to have" faith in him before his death, and on the Day of Resurrection he will be witness against them.
4160 Because of the wickedness from among those who are Jewish, We made unlawful to them the good things that were lawful to them; and for their deterring many from the path of God.
4161 And for their taking of usury, while they were prohibited from doing so, and for their consuming the money of the people unjustly. We have prepared for the disbelievers among them a painful retribution.
4162 But those of them who are well founded in knowledge, and the ones with faith they "build up" faith in what was sent down to you and what was sent down before you; and those who keep the communion and those who contribute towards purification, and those who have faith in God and the Last Day; to these We will give them their recompense greatly.

56 O you who believe, if you assist in communion, then wash your faces and your hands up to the elbows, and wipe your heads and your feet to the ankles; and if you have had intercourse, then you shall purify. And if you are ill, or traveling, or you have excreted feces, or you have had sexual contact with the women, and you cannot not find water, then you shall select from the clean soil; you shall wipe your faces and your hands with it. God does not want to place any hardship on you, but He wants to cleanse you and to complete His blessings upon you that you may be thankful...
57 ...and regard the blessings of God over you and His covenant that He has bound you with, for which you have said ?We hear and obey,? and be aware of God; for God knows what is in the chests.

It is a spiritual cleansing at best.

511 O you who have faith, regard the blessings of God upon you when a group desired to aggress against you, and He restrained their hands from you. And reverence God. And in God the ones with faith should put their trust.
512 God has taken the covenant of the Children of Israel and raised from them twelve representatives, and God said ?I am with you if you keep communion and contribute towards purification, and have faith in My messengers, and support them, and lend God a loan of righteousness; then I will cancel your sins and admit you into estates with rivers flowing beneath them.? Whoever opposes after this from you, then he has strayed from the path.
513 But because of them breaking their covenant, We have cursed them, and made their hearts become hardened; they take the words out of context; and they forgot much of what they were informed of. And you will still discover betrayal in them except for a few; so pardon them and overlook; God loves the good doers.
514 And from those who have said ?We are Nazarenes,? We have taken their covenant and they have forgotten much of what they were informed of; so We planted between them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection; and God will inform them of what they had done.

554 O you who have faith, whoever from among you turns away from His command, then God will bring a people whom He loves and they love Him; meek towards the ones with faith, honorable towards the opponents; they strive in the cause of God and do not consider to be blamed by those who blame. This is the grace of God, He bestows it upon whom He wills; God is Encompassing, Knowledgeable.
555 For your supporter are God and His messenger and those who have faith; they keep the communion and contribute towards purification, and they are humble.
556 And whoever allies God and His messenger and those who have faith; then the party of God are the ones who will be victorious.
557 O you who have faith, do not take as allies those who have taken your command for mockery and play from among those who have been given the decree before you and the opponents. And be aware of God if you are ones with faith.
558 And if you summon to communion they take it for mockery and play. That is because they are a people who do not comprehend.

590 O you who have faith, alcohol, and gambling, and altars, and arrows of chance are tainted - by the work of the devil. You shall avoid him so that you may be successful.
591 The devil only wants to cause strife between you through alcohol and gambling, and to repel you away from regarding God and from communion. Will you be corrected...
592 ...and obey God and obey the messenger, and be aware. If you turn away then know that it is the duty of Our messenger to deliver clearly...
593 ...(that) there is no sin upon those who have faith and do good works for what they eat if they are aware and have faith and do good works, then they are aware and have faith, then they are aware and do good; God loves the good doers.

5106 O you who have faith, witnessing shall be done if death is approaching one of you and a will is being made, by two among you who are equitable. If you have gone forth in the land, and death is approaching, then any two may suffice - if you have doubt regarding them, then detain them after communing, and they will swear by God ?We will not "take it lightly", even if it was from a near relative, and we will not ignore the testimony of God, else we are of the sinners.?

670 Leave aside those who have taken their command for play and distraction, and this worldly life has tempted them. And pay attention to that a soul will suffer for what it has earned, it will not have besides God any supporter nor intercessor; and even if it brings all justice, none will be accepted from it. These are the ones who have suffered with what they have earned; for them will be a boiling drink, and a painful retribution for what they had opposed.
671 Say ?Shall we call upon other than God what cannot benefit us or harm us, and we turn back on our heels after God has guided us?? This is like the one whom the devils have managed to mislead on the earth, he is confused, having friends who call him to the guidance ?Come to us!? Say ?The guidance is the guidance of God, and we have been ordered to harmonize with the Master of mankind.?
672 And you shall keep the communion, and be aware; and to Him you will be gathered.
673 And He is the One who has created the heavens and the earth with the truth, and the day He says ?Be,? then it is! His saying is truth; and to Him is the sovereignty the Day the horn is blown. Knower of the unseen and the seen; He is the Wise, the Expert.
674 And Abraham said to his father, Azar ?Will you take statues as gods? I see you and your people are clearly misguided.?

690 These are the ones guided by God; so let their guidance be an example. Say ?I do not ask you for any wage; this is but a regard for mankind.?
691 And they did not appreciate God as He deserves to be appreciated, for they said ?God has never sent down anything to any human being.? Say ?Who then has sent down the decree which Moses had come with, a light and a guidance for the people? You treat it simply as paper for display, and you ignore much; and you were taught what neither you nor your fathers knew.? Say ?God has.? Then leave them playing in their folly.
692 And this is a decree which We have sent down, blessed, one truthful to what is in his possession, and that you may warn the capital of the towns and those around it. And those who have faith in the Hereafter have faith in it, and they commune.
693 And who is more wicked than he who invents lies about God, or says ?It has been inspired to me,? when We did not inspire anything to him; or who says ?I will bring down the same as what God has sent down.? And if you could only see the wicked at the moments of death when the angels have their arms opened ?Bring yourselves out, today you will be given the severest punishment for what you used to say about God without truth, and you used to be arrogant towards His revelations.?

6161 Say ?My Master has guided me to a straight path, an upright command, the ways of Abraham the monotheist; he was not of the associators.?
6162 Say ?My communion, and my deeds, and my life, and my death, are all to God, Lord of the worlds.?
6163 ?He has no partner, and it is to this that I was commanded, and I am the first of those who have submitted.?
6164 Say ?Shall I seek other than God as a Master when He is the Master of everything?? And every soul earns what is for it, and none will carry the burden of another. Then to your Master is your return and He will inform you of what you disputed in.
6165 And He is the One who made you inheritors on the earth, and He raised some of you over others in grades, to test you with what He had given you. Your Master is swift to punishment, and He is Forgiving, Merciful.

7169 Then, a generation came after them who inherited the decree, but they opted for the materialism of that which is lower; and they say ?It will be forgiven for us.? And they continue to opt for the materialism if it comes to them; was not the covenant of the decree taken on them that they would only say the truth about God, and they studied what was in it? And the abode of the Hereafter is better for those who are aware. Do you not comprehend?
7170 As for those who hold fast to the decree, and keep communion; We will not waste the reward of the righteous.
7171 And We raised the mountain above them as if it were a cloud, and they thought it would fall on them ?Take what We have given you with strength and remember what is in it that you may be righteous.?
7172 And your Master took for the children of Adam from their backs, their progeny; and He made them witness over themselves ?Am I not your Master?? They said ?Yes, we bear witness.? Thus you cannot say on the Day of Resurrection that you were unaware of this.

81 They ask you regarding the spoils, say ?The spoils are for God and the messenger.? So be aware of God, and be upright in matters between you; and obey God and His messenger if you are ones with faith.
82 The ones with faith are those whom, when God is mentioned, their hearts reverence; and when His revelations are recited to them, it increases their faith; and they put their trust in their Master.
83 They keep the communion, and from Our provisions to them they spend.
84 These are the true ones with faith; they will have grades with their Master and a forgiveness and a generous provision.
85 As your Master made you go out from your true assembly, but a party from among the ones with faith disliked this.
86 They argue with you about the truth when it has been made clear to them; as if they were being herded towards death while they are watching!

832 And they said ?Our god, if this is the truth from You, then send down upon us a rain of stones from the heaven or bring upon us a painful retribution.?
833 And God will not punish them while you are with them, nor will God punish them while they continue to seek forgiveness.
834 And why should God not punish them when they are turning others away from the ones who respect the restrictions, and they were never its advocates! Its advocates are the righteous; but most of them do not know.
835 And their communion in the assembly was nothing but noise and aversion. Taste the retribution for what you have opposed.
836 Those who have opposed, they spend their money to turn others away from the path of God. They will spend it, then it will become an anguish for them, then they will be defeated. Those who have opposed will be gathered to Hell.
837 This is so that God will distinguish the bad from the good, and so that the bad will be gathered together into one heap then He will cast it all into Hell. These are the losers.
838 Say to the opponents ?If they cease, then what has passed before will be forgiven to them, and if they return to it, then the example of the previous generations has already been given.?
839 And fight them all until there is no more oppression, and the entire command is for God. But if they cease, then God is Seer over what they do.

91 A revocation is made by God and His messenger to those with whom you have made a pledge from among the associators.
92 ?Therefore, roam the land for four months and know that you will not escape God, and that God will humiliate the opponents.?
93 And a proclamation from God and His messenger to the people, on the day of the greater joining ?That God and His messenger are innocent from the associators.? If you repent, then it is better for you, and if you turn away, then know that you will not escape God. And give news to those who have opposed of a painful retribution.
94 Except for those with whom you had made a pledge from among the associators if they did not reduce anything from it nor did they support anyone against you; you shall continue the pledge with them until its expiry. God loves the righteous.
95 So when the restricted months have passed, then you may kill the associators wherever you find them, and take them, and surround them, and stand against them at every point. If they repent and keep the communion and they contribute towards purification, then you shall leave them aside. God is Forgiving, Merciful.
96 And if any of the associators seeks your protection, then you may protect him so that he may hear the words of God, then let him reach his sanctity. This is because they are a people who do not know.
97 How can the associators have a pledge with God and with His messenger? Except for those with whom you made a pledge of ones who show respect to the restrictions, as long as they are upright with you, then you are upright with them. God loves the righteous.
98 How is it that when they come upon you they disregard all ties, either those of kinship or of pledge. They seek to please you with their words, but their conscience denies, and the majority of them are wicked.
99 They "taken the revelations of God lightly", so they repel others from His path. Evil indeed is what they used to do.
910 They do not care about those who are have faith, nor a kinship, nor a pledge. These are the transgressors.
911 If they repent, and they keep the communion and they contribute towards purification, then they are your brothers in command. We explain the revelations for a people who know.
912 And if they break their oaths after making their pledge, and they challenge the authority of your command; then you may kill the leaders of opposition. Their oaths are nothing to them, perhaps they will then cease.
913 Would you not fight a people who broke their oaths, and obsessed to expel the messenger, especially while they were the ones who attacked you first? Are you concerned about them? It is God who is more deserving that you be concerned with if you are ones with faith.
914 Fight them; perhaps God will punish them by your hands and humiliate them and grant you victory over them and heal the chests of the faithful people.
915 And to remove the anger from their conscience; God pardons whom he pleases. God is Knowledgeable, Wise.
916 Or did you think that you would be left alone? God will come to distinguish those of you who strived and did not take other than God and His messenger and the ones with faith as helpers. God is Expert in what you do.
917 It was not for the associators to accept the ones who respect God while they bear witness over their own opposition. For these, their works have fallen, and in the Fire they will abide.
918 Rather, the ones who respect God are who have faith in God and the Last Day, and he keeps the communion and he contributes towards purification, and is only concerned by God. It is these that will be of the guided ones.
919 Have you made (your) (baptizing) with water of the joiner and the acceptance of the one who respects the restrictions the same as one who has faith in God and the Last Day and he strives in the cause of God? They are not the same with God. And God does not guide the wicked people.

I am sorry for lackluster translations here in the end but they are a bit tricky for me still. I hope the gist of their meaning still comes forth despite my inability to get words out for the interpretation. This is still far better than any other translation available to man today as far as I am aware.

In 919 the translation is still an inference based on history of practices, but I cannot think of anything else in meaning using water. I have come to the conclusion that hajj and umra point towards joining and acceptance.

953 Say ?Spend willingly or unwillingly, it will not be accepted from you. You are a wicked people.?
954 And what prevented what they would spend from being accepted from them except that they opposed God and His messenger, and they do not care for the communion except reluctantly, and they do not spend except unwillingly.
955 So do not be impressed by their wealth or children; God only wishes to punish them with it in the worldly life, and so that their souls will be taken while they are opponents.

970 Did the news not come to them of those before them, the people of Noah and ?Aad and Thamud. And the people of Abraham, and the dwellers of Midyan, and those overthrown. Their messengers came to them with clarity; it was not God who wronged them, but it was themselves that they wronged.
971 And the faithful males and the faithful females, they are allies to one another. They order good and prohibit vice, and they keep the communion and they care towards purification and they obey God and His messenger. God will have mercy on them; God is Noble, Wise.
972 God has promised the faithful males and the faithful females estates with rivers flowing beneath them, abiding therein, and pleasing homes in gardens of delight. And the acceptance from God is the most important; such is the great triumph.
973 O prophet, strive against the opponents and the hypocrites and be firm against them. Their dwelling is Hell, what a miserable destiny!

981 Those who have remained are happy with their position of lagging behind the messenger of God, and they disliked striving with their money and lives in the cause of God; and they say ?Do not mobilize in the heat.? Say ?The fire of Hell is much hotter,? if they could only understand.
982 Let them laugh a little, and cry a lot, a recompense for what they have earned.
983 So, if God sends you back to a group of them, and they ask your permission to come with you, then say ?You will not come with me ever; nor will you fight any enemy with me. You had accepted staying behind the first time, so stay with those who remain behind.?
984 And do not make a gathering for any of them who have died, nor stand at their grave. They have opposed God and His messenger and died while they were wicked.
985 And do not be impressed by their wealth and their children; God only wishes to punish them with it in this world, and so their souls will be taken while they are opponents.
986 And if a chapter is sent down ?That you shall have faith in God and strive with His messenger,? those with wealth and influence ask your leave and they say ?Let us be with those who remain behind.?
987 They were content to stay with those who remained behind, and it was imprinted on their hearts, for they do not understand.

999 And from the Nomads are those who have faith in God and the Last Day, and he looks upon what he spends to make him closer to God, and the unions of the messenger. It indeed makes them closer. God will admit them in His mercy; God is Forgiving, Merciful.

9102 And others who have acknowledged their sins, they have mixed a good work with another that was bad. Perhaps God will pardon them. God is Forgiving, Merciful.
9103 Take from their money a charity to purify them and develop them with it, and unite with them; for your unity is a tranquility for them; and God is Hearer, Knowledgeable.
9104 Did they not know that it is God who accepts repentance from His servants, and He takes the charities, and that God is the Pardoner, Merciful.

1087 And We inspired to Moses and his brother ?You shall seek out assemblies for your people in Egypt; and leave your assemblies to be a role model, and keep the communion. And give good news to the ones with faith.?

1187 They said ?O Shu?ayb, does your union order you that we leave what our fathers served, or that we do not do with our money as we please? It seems only you are the compassionate, the wise!?

11112 So be firm as you were commanded, and those who have repented with you, and do not transgress. He is Seer over what you do.
11113 And do not lean towards those who have wronged else you will incur the Fire; and you will not have besides God any allies, and you will not be victorious.
11114 And keep your focus on the communion and (at) the near part of the night the good deeds (have) taken away the bad. This is a regard to those who pay attention.
11115 And be patient, for God does not waste the reward of the good doers.
11116 If only there was from the previous generations a people with wisdom who prohibited corruption on the earth, except the few that We saved of them. And those who were wicked followed the enjoyment they were in, and they were criminal.
11117 And your Lord will not destroy the towns unjustly, while its people are good doers.

Red This passage does not refer to a timing of a prayer whatsoever. The arafayi refers to your gazes, or more properly translated into English your focus/attention. It was so insane that I was fooled in the past by this language, but it is so obvious that one can begun to cry.

1320 Those who fulfill the pledge of God, and they do not break the covenant.
1321 And those who deliver what God has ordered to be delivered, and they are concerned towards their Master and they consider a terrible reckoning.
1322 And those who are patient seeking the face of their Master and they keep the communion and they spend from what We have bestowed upon them secretly and openly, and they counter evil with good; these will have an excellent abode.
1323 The gardens of delight; which they will enter with those who are good doers from their fathers and their mates and their progeny. And the angels will enter upon them from every gate.
1324 ?Harmony be upon you for what you have been patient for. Excellent indeed is the final abode.?

No matter how much I would like to continue tonight I have to stop here. It is late in the night, but it has been interesting to analyze the discourse this intensively. We can only tell ourselves to stick together and keep communion with all the new information that we have with us now that was disregarded and ignored and care for purification. If people cared to read this far without being arrogant and stubbornly rejecting I hope that at least someone understands the fallacy of the traditional interpretation.

                                To be continued...

                                  Peace Man Of Faith.

                                  Quote

This does not make sense ,they are already united, all of them, after all they are fighting together as one unit?
How do you make a communion for others?
A group has to establish" unity" when each individual pledging to unite! How can someone else establish the unity for others?

                                  GOD bless you.
                                  Peace.

                                    Peace,

The passage makes sense to the gist of it. I may have been confusing the words because I was a bit tired while working and a lot of text. It talks about teaching about God where hostilities may try the messenger and have him trapped. And the messenger was suggested to be protected while informing about God. Besides was it all you could get hooked up on and not checking other passages?

"If you are with them communing then let respectful among them keep their weapons ready and be behind you and then let the group that not has been communed to come and commune with you and let them be wary and weapons ready if the opponents should try to fool you."

Here you have a loosely paraphrased version of the passage from last night.

As you could understand if you were honest you could see that all related passages do not speak of prayer whatsoever.

                                      Peace,

After brief thinking here I realized the understanding of the word sajda is important here. I infer that sajda is more than only respectful but inclines on dedicated because these people who are dedicated and respectful can protect the messenger while preaching.

The verse numbering throughout the recitation (Qur'an) is trap against the right comprehension of the scripture. I am very ascertained that it was not part of the original composition. It deliberately separates the passages so that they simply glide aside from each other losing focus on the context.

                                        Trap? Are you sure, brother?

Wouldn't it be easier for us to learn verse by verse gradually?

If there's no verse numbering, then it will be a very long sentence, isn't?

                                        Salm.

Be patient and keep together is basically what the passages say.

Bold I like this concept, actually.

I can understand why this is very important.

Yes, this is simple, easy to understand, but it seems very rarely done by us.

If only this can be implemented globally by all people who believe in God.

                                          Salm.
