Thanks. But still, we cannot do it publicly to initiate this mission or we will be jailed, shot or beheaded &

That's why I still suggest what to do on internet to spread about this, not in public. When we have collected maaaaany people from different countries (I would like to target Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan & Pakistan the most), when we have united and our number have become large, then we can speak out and spread this publicly. The mainstream scholars would also get pwned

          Peace to all.

In order to change the world, we have to know our real enemies. Who are our enemies? Can we know them? We have to get out of our mental block in order to recognize our enemies. Here are some points to consider who they are

One, they are also the enemies of the God and His system, satans and their followers among mankind

Two, they are afraid of the truth to be spread around

Three, they shout at and threat us due to our ideas which differ with what they hold

Four, they dislike what we are doing and block our way to the straight path

Five, they mock and ridicule us

Six, they disallow/shun our voice/opinion/message to be conveyed/heard

Seven, they refer to their authorities for action to persecute/prosecute us

Eight, they intrude our lives/community to impose their doctrine

Nine, they turn their backs when God alone is called

Ten, they reject us in mainstream life

Eleven, they scheme to destroy our community

I can go on and on. We have to be alert who they are. There are there to react to every effort we do.

Here is a suggestion on the way to move forward. First step, send the message to your family members and see how they respond. Deliver the message to your community leaders and see how they respond.

Second step, build our community center. Invite people to the call of the God only. Share the message with politeness and wisdom

Third step, when there are events such as the bombings, we go and help the victims and send our message of peace and the truth from the God. Say them loud and clear to the world

Fourth, if they want to harm us, we must be ready to defend, and if they fight us, we must be ready to fight back.

From my experience we would make a real breakthrough if we can reach to the second step.

Are we ready? Just do it.

            I can't believe there isn't a thread on this. p

Well, on the main website it has a poll, "How can the God Alone movement advance?"

I'd like to see what people here think, and how they would add their two cents.

I personally believe that it is important for Qur'an Alone Mosques to begin to appear. There are none that I know of in my local area and I live in quite a diverse area with a fair few mosques. I don't know of any in Birmingham (UK) either.

I have heard Hadithers say that Qur'an Alone Islam and Muslims are a predominantly internet thing. To some extent I think they are righ, unfortunately. How do we fix that?

One of the options is to start a town. How would we even go about that!?

            Peace Khaliq,

As we are spread across the globe its more difficult to 'see' the Quran only movement. Although on the side of being noticeable, maybe that's a good thing and intended in some way... the first thing might be to find those among us who think similarly. Then find a place that would serve as a gathering place. Would people want to prayer there, discuss? Would we be willing to accept each others differences on things like fasting, prayer and so on?

Maybe we don't realise that if we all were together in the same way as many other groups on a large scale, we might not be so different from many other groups who end up dividing and such things. Possibly because that's more about human nature or something. I think a town is a little bit of a stretch, plus I get the feeling some would they take any kind of aggreivation against quran only as an opportunity for aggression against others rather than peacemaking first and would use the Quran as justification with the 'harsh against the disbelievers (kafir)' in some translations even though it says deal with those who do not force you to leave your homes, with justice and kindly. That kind of reaction would not be a good thing and would actually be the last thing we want. Patience would be important in this scenario. Why would we need to create a town though, I'm not sure what you mean but that sounds a little like the Amish or with a bit of segregation? Although, not sure exactly what you mean and how well this applies to the idea of Quran only and the idea of spreading the message.
Also the fact that anyone could be a believer if they believe in God, last day/justice and do good the the group called believers becomes more open.
Are we ready for that kind of larger scale thing you mentioned rather than just mosques and such things as individuals and believers ourselves? That might be the question.

I was thinking of making youtube videos about Quran Alone, but I'm not sure how qaulified I'd be, seeing as I have not completed reading the Quran yet. But I seem to grasp the basis of it. But I don't think that's enough.

I also wanted to make discussion groups and events on Second Life (see www.secondlife.com), and build a virtual mosque there and community/center. There are already hundreds of thousands of muslims on that virtual world. Onislam.net even built their own virtual ka'bah and mecca, and islamic center, and give lectures there regularily and hajj tours every year.

I tried using the above idea also for virtual meetings for Quran Only Muslims who are scattered around the world , and even wrote about it in my own thread by very few people understood the idea P.

so im all alone with this idea until others see the value in it.

oo i so want to build a virtual quran only community!

oo this would be so fun! I can hire a builder to build us a beautiful white mosque (with no names but Allah in it!). I could probably build it myself but im not sure... Perhaps we can all pitch in how we'd like it to look.

What I love about this idea is that one day if it is possible, one could build a replica in real life. to reflect what we did virtually, and build a real life quran only community isA out there somewhere...

Oh okay, mine's Atreidez. I couldn't even get off that first island then realised maybe I needed to fly over the broken bridge. Various clones in the same goth clothes as mine tried following me after I had done that, before they were just wandering around looking at me, I thought it was zombieland...one even spoke to me in russian! Don't know if he was swearing at me or welcoming me.

Sure sounds great actually, I want cobalt blue stain glass windows! Probably can't enter one as a vampire however

It is true that in an aggregate there is a tendency that we will be divided. We differ in many things among us. Only the God can strengthen our hearts to keep the bond. We are told to hold to the rope of Allah, His guidance with His knowledge.

                                Dear Khaliq

Your question is " I wanted to talk about the whole movement; how do we grow? "

Ok. As we knew Quranist development is different each other by each region. So I will told you little about Quranist movement in my country. In Indonesia, Quranist labeled as "Ingkar Sunnah" or Sunnah rejector.

Quranist movement in Indonesia was risen and gaining it's pride during 1970-1980s, maybe same time with Rashad Khalifa's era. Some Quranist scholar's name was appeared such like Irham Surtanto, Dalimi Lubis, Nazwar Syamsu etc and even a Dutch orientalist named Snouck Hurgronje allegedly involved on this, but I don't know exactly.
At that period, the Quranist groups capable to spreading it's teaching by releasing books, dakwah in masjid, via radio and other medias.

Unfortunately, some Islamic organization and NGOs include Indonesian ulema autharity (Majelis Ulama Indonesia), quickly responded and they tracked down all Quranist movements, and in the climax is the Quranist movement evectively shut down and and it's figures was given an ultimatum by Islamic autharity "Stop your movement or this problem will bring into the court".

The more worse is Indonesian Supreme Court (Mahkamah Agung Indonesia) release act KEP-169/J.A/9/1983 and KEP-059/J.A/3/1984 about freezing all Quranist movements and Majelis Ulama Indonesia also releasing a fatwa (16 Ramadhan 1403 H) if Quranist is haram.

Yeah after that Quranist's last remant did their dakwah by hiding. In 2012 a base of Quranist group named Yata'in (Yayasan Tauhid Indonesia) under dr Minardi Mursyid was bombed by Sunni criminals and it's suspect already bring into the court and unfortunately the Yata'in receive same fate with previous Quranist (.

Yes it's hard if we spreading something which different from original mainstream and yes I'm very happy if Quran Alone is spreading well in UK such like abang Farouk Peru's group.
Freedom of though is not forbidden in Indonesia, but sectarian conflict and illegal dogmatic is still happens in here.

Ok I'm not told you about how we grow, because it's already answered well by another members.

                                Salaam

Well, on the main website it has a poll, "How can the God Alone movement advance?"
I personally believe that it is important for Qur'an Alone Mosques to begin to appear. There are none that I know of in my local area and I live in quite a diverse area with a fair few mosques. I don't know of any in Birmingham (UK) either.

I think you kind of mixing up between "God" and "Quran".
"God Alone" doesn't have to be "Quran Alone"/"Anti Hadiths", and "Quran Alone" doesn't mean "God Alone".

There are people who think that "Quran" is a kind of "Perfect Being", "Not Man Made" and/or not even "A Creation".
That's totally different than "God Alone", from my POV those people are idolizing a book called Quran.

                                  Now about "Specific Mosque".

It's wrong to fight "Religion" by creating another "Religion".
Fighting "Sectarianism" by creating another "Sect".
Fighting "Occultism" by creating another "Cult".

From my POV, the advancement of "God Alone" movement is in parallel to the advancement of "Critical thinking habits" of specific society. Which again according to my observation it's exponentially increasing world wide as we speak.
Critical thinking is a key skill to differentiate between truth and falsehood.
And what I mean by "critical thinking" is not only critical thinking of other people's idea but also critical thinking of their own idea.

Another indicator is the amount of "Religiosity/Sectarianism" among specific society.
Which again according to my observation it's exponentially decreasing world wide as we speak, or to put it in another words "Secularism" is exponentially increasing world wide as we speak.
Leader of nearly all organized religion are already aware and alarmed by this 'Bad Trend' (for them), the entire organized religion industry is falling down. They face grim outlook on this sudden rise of "Infidelism" / "Kufurism" (using their own lingo..).

Religion Among Americans Hits Low Point, As More People Say They Have No Religious Affiliation

Thus in summary.. The All-Mighty God shall have His will fulfilled in the end..
And the True God doesn't need any help from any of His creation.. because He's "All Powerful" in the first place..

You're merely an 'observer' of His Will being realized and seen as 'event' by your own very eyes..

                                      1. We need to strengthen our own base. We need to come to agreements on topics and issues where we can. Where we cannot, then we must agree to disagree, present the different views and let the people decide what is best for them.

                                      2. We need to get professional.

I think we need a better website. Something professional - this one will not cut it.

We need to do what the LDS Church have done. Check out their website www.lds.org

We need to present ourselves as the real deal and not amateur.

                                      1. We need to start getting the message out there.

I suggest we advertise in local / national papers. Maybe a verse or two from AQ, a few words on the oneness of god and the link to this site / forum. We need to increase awareness.

                                      1. We need to also target youth and converts. I say forget the old guard, they won't change. The focus should be on the youth to make them question the ways of their parents and converts who are having problems or aren't very cosy with their muslim community.

I think that'll be difficult.. but we def need to strengthen our own base and increase our knowledge about things.

People do present their different views here and it's up to people to decide their paths no-one enforces anything.

I guess everyone seems to take their own path which is probably why there is alot of fragmentation in the Quran following community..

Establish congregations. We can't force people to acknowledge, but we can deliver God's words. There're already many Unitarian Churches in the US and UK, so we can talk to people in those churches about the Quran. If they're indeed monotheists, then they will have no problem accepting the Quran. I'd warn, that, Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) in the US is not really a Monotheist congregation. "There is no god except God" or anything similar is not in UUA's basic principle, and UUA blesses gay marriage while it's clear from both Bible and Quran that gay is a gross sin, though I acknowledge that there shouldn't be persecutions against gays, for they didn't really act against us or cause dangers in the society. Speaking in a more Christian voice, we love the sinners, for they may hear God's voice and repent, but we hate sins, since God has forbidden them.
Sorry for digressing for a while. What we can do to make God Alone movement advance is to make God's message available to more people. It's not our business whether they acknowledge or not. We should also be good servants of God ourselves, so others can see the difference between a Monotheist and a polytheist, and God's blessings on us. Hopefully, we can have Monotheists who become public celebrities, like Nobel Prize winners and Supreme Court Justices, more hopefully, US President. Perhaps we've already got some of them. They may help a lot in making God Alone movement advance, for their words will sound more "authoritative," so non-monotheists are more likely to consider what they say.
We can also have Monotheist communities.
