Service is the act of doing in function of something or someone.
Basically, mathematically is f(X).
I have rarely known anyone who serves the Lord, only, and nothing else besides Him.
The reasons are the clustered circular systems of any society. All these work mainly in the function of money and/or ideology.
One system at work, one system at home, another one in town, yet another in religion, and of course whole another in school. If we count, 5 systems so far.
The question is which one is true?
And more importantly, which of them is designed to serve the Lord, only?!
The answer is ? none of the above.
It?s very easy to read the latest testament which confirms the word of the previous ones

Serve only the Lord and do not serve anything beside Him.

One way to find the failure of the system you find yourself caught in, is to ask Who receives the final credit and merit for all the work being done in the ?lower? parts of the system?
In whose hands is the control of that system?
Can any human influence it so it ceases to exist?
Can any human change it according to his will?
One thing is for sure, you can get old searching before you find someone who serves the Lord, alone and only.
At best, the 5 abovementioned systems may have isolated values which are in harmony with the word of God, but the problem with an isolated value is like the lamb which loses the mother sheep. It will suckle just about any tit along the way.
And so do the people who are trapped in the exampled systems.
Most work for money, but not for the source of all wealth.
Most work long working hours and short productivity.
Most lack any creativity and elixir for the own soul, hence become as robots. Run to show at work in time, and get out drained and not having done anything that makes the own soul sing and the own life worthy.
So?
Which is the solution?
- As with any problem, it begins with a prayer, said in many ways and more than dozens of times
My Lord, whoever and whatever I am serving besides You, please forgive me, thank you.
You have a body, and what keeps it alive. Only what keeps your body alive can bring aliveness to you. And that?s what matter, feeling complete and living fully as you are meant to.
Only God can do it for you, given that you let go everything that you are serving besides Him. The second part of the previous sentence is where your weakness is and your limits are built.
Once the antenna of mind tuned to the source of all knowledge, the heart will receive the guide what to do next. But before next moment comes, the now is present for you, and you are a present from the One who gives this moment to you.
Use it wisely and set yourself free.

But thanks to my Lord, alhamduliAllah, I am in the way of serving Him ALONE hailAlhamduliAllah, without Allah's help it is not possible for me to serve Him alone. But He is helping me in every situation and whatever comes in my way of serving Him alone and making it easy for me hail
Many times I ask my Lord how to thank Him for this ultimate gift that He gave me. And I see around me that even after realizing that we have to only serve Allah, many people fail to do so. Because they thought it is the most difficult path. But let me assure that it is the easiest path, believe me, when you try to get on the path of Allah, He surely makes it easy for you. So, I suggest, please take a try and see for yourself.

By serving Allah alone, includes not crossing the limit of serving non Allahs, the worldly pleasure givers.
we serve none other deities(sun, moon, stars, the king, the messengers, our work, wealth etc) than the only God for not crossing the limit.Abolutely vague, revealing nothing.

There is a purpose for each blessed soul on this earth. Living the own personal and authentic as well as original purpose is the service for God. This is the path that a rare soul nowadays walks. Therefore, read all the verses of Koran and see again for yourself how important is for God that his people focus and serve Him, alone and only.

your Lord, so give full weight and measure, and do not hold
back from the people what belongs to them, and do not make
corruption on the earth after it has been set right. That is better
for you if you believe.?7206 Those who are at your Lord, they are never too proud to serve
Him, and they glorify Him, and to Him they yield.931 They have taken their Priests and Monks to be patrons besides
God, and the Messiah, son of Mary, while they were only
commanded to serve One god, there is no god except He, be He
glorified against what they set up.103 Your Lord is God who has created the heavens and the earth in six
days, then He settled upon the Throne; He manages all affairs.
There is no intercessor except after His permission. Such is God
your Lord, so serve Him. Would you not remember?1018 And they serve besides God what does not harm them or benefit
them, and they say ?These are our intercessors with God.? Say
?Are you informing God of what He does not know in the heavens

Your Lord is not unaware of what you all do.1240 ?What you serve besides Him are nothing except names which
you have created, both you and your fathers, God has not sent
down any authority for such. The judgment is for none except
God. He has ordered that none be served except He. That is the

?Did We ever appoint gods besides the Almighty to be served??4364 ?God is my Lord and your Lord. So serve Him. This is a straight
path.?4381 Say ?If the Almighty had a son, I would be the first to serve!?
4621 And recall the brethren of `Aad, when he warned his people of
the sandstorm; no different to the warners sent before him and
after him ?You shall not serve except God. For I fear for you the
retribution of a great day!?5156 I did not create the Jinn and mankind except to serve Me.
5362 So, prostrate yourselves to God, and serve.
604 There has been a good example set for you by Abraham and those
with him, when they said to their people ?We are innocent from
you and what you serve besides God. We have rejected you, and
it appears that there shall be animosity and hatred between us
and you until you believe in God alone.? Except for the saying
of Abraham to his father ?I will ask forgiveness for you, but I do

I was thinking that I am on the correct path, but few months ago Allah showed me how to serve Him alone.

Say there is deity X, as it helps me I am praising its usefulness, writing stories, singing songs etc... until this everything is right and natural but soon if the limit crosses, reasons becomes rituals , false stories by giving false importance to the deity, steps in leading to idol worshiping. like many muslims worshiping His messenger, The Quran, etc..

It makes sense to me. . . there is nowhere in the Quran you can find the word (ب in the Quran. . . which is the arabic word for religion
It is because religion or sectarianism was never acknowledged by Allah
mankind is one nation. . . and Islam came to lay the foundation for unity in diversity through freedom of religionFor example. . .The Jews and Christians read the same Book, but why then it is two separate religions ?
It is obvious the idea of religion is not from God. It is man-made, that's why Muhammad is not a Jew or Christianand Islam came to end religion through freedom of religion, not to create new one . .
