Time To Change Your Paradigm

Peace all.
The Arabic words used in "1519.2053, 4310, 5007, 51 48, 71 19, 786.." Words like
"Mahd, Mihadan,bissatan... Just means habitable. Your "mahd"/ bed is where you live...( You try and find another habitable planet?)
"Farashnaha" is a similar word your, home where you live has "Farash" ,hence GOD has made the earth a "farash" for us i.e habitable.
"Madadnaha" just means made/constructed over a long period and a planned design.
None of them means "flattened or flat?!!!!!
GOD bless you all.
Peace. -
Hicham,
Negative to you too, flatten is not equal to that the whole Earth is flat.
And the word refers to that the area is flattened, evened out and not that it necessarily is in a straight line but too smooth the area. The word also reflects the spreading out of an area as an expanse. By other words, the word cannot be used to claim the Earth to be flat, only that an area is flattened out which everyone probably know what it means. Adding the miim prefix does not change anything except referring to that it already has the attribute.
You could use the word when speaking of using a rolling pin in baking.
Hence I am not speculating but providing perfectly feasible input.

Anything extended on a spherical surface is flatenned. If it does not have bulges or anything, that is, not any bulges that it wouldn't have on a straight plain horizontal surface, then it is flatenned.
On the other hand, the existence of mountains denies the "flat" assertion.

Salam everybody,
There's a verse in the Qur'an that's been bothering me!
725
Muhammad Asad (The Message Of Quran)
725 there shall you live" - He added - "and there shall you die, and thence shall you be brought forth !Rashad Khalifa (The Final Testament)
725 He said, "On it you will live, on it you will die, and from it you will be brought out.",Shabbir Ahmed (Quran As It Explains Itself)
725 He said, "You shall live on earth and die there and be resurrected from there.?Please read the context; but the verse is clearly implying that humans shall live on earth and die on earth!
The first time I read this verse I remember that I was bothered asking, "What if some astronaut dies on Moon or on Mars?!"
I think this verse is speaking that we humans are earth-bound!
(Allah) said "Get ye down. With enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood,- for a time." (24) He said "Therein shall ye live, and therein shall ye die; but from it shall ye be taken out (at last)."
They are being thrown out of the garden. It does not show anywhere that the garden is out of the earth. We must decide what we do with the word "ard". We cannot choose to translate at our own whim as planet or as land. En this two ayas, it seems that the meaning is land. They go out, down into the land, not into the planet and it does say in the aya "for a while" or "up to a time". To me it seems obvious that it is not talking about planet earth but about the land. and that it is apoint not for ever but for a time.

So a whole bunch of you strongly believe the Earth is actually flat, a disc at most?
You say that if the Qur'an said the sky was green instead of blue, you would take it to mean the sky is green instead of blue, insisting that the Qur'an is speaking the truth even if your eyes saw something else?
Then I strongly suggest the devils descend on the Qur'an and start messing around with it, because there are some people ready to listen to whatever it might say.
What takes precedence? The interpretation we have of a book, or our strategic reasoning abilities?
I don't hold the Qur'an in such high esteem that if it sprung feet and legs and started dancing and telling me to worship Jesus that I would.
I believe in the Qur'an because it coincides with what I believe ("this book is for those who believe" it is not the other way around, that you believe in the book before having the beliefs. If the Qur'an disagreed with what I believe, then I would see if it can be salvaged, and if it couldn't then it would be thrown out.
3918
Those who listen to the word, then follow the best of it; those are they whom Allah has guided, and those it is who are the men of understanding.Allah can freely manipulate the Qur'an, can change it and make it seem like it always said something that it might not have, can convince anyone of anything, and is the cause of the varied interpretations as well leading whoever Allah wills to whatever Allah wills.

Except that G-D never said "the sky is green"! That's what you say.
Let alone "blue"! That's what you think. -
Except that G-D never said "the sky is green"! That's what you say.
Let alone "blue"! That's what you think. The question was more about, if the Qur'an said something that seemed false, would you believe it? Why?
Would you try to interpret it in a way that makes it seem more true to you? Would you try to leave it as you imagine it is even if it is not in accordance with what you have seen or experienced?
Would you reject the whole Qur'an over it? Would you reject that verse in particular?
In my case, I have not come upon anything in the Qur'an that appears to be false at all, but in the cases of things like this, I interpret those verses in ways that don't make them out to be very important or very different from the reality I am seeing and experiencing.

Indeed.
We must not forget 1736, which tell us not to follow things blindly. Then it is better to not follow anything, than to be a blind follower of something. Also 3918 tells us to select the best of what we hear. This is referring to our attitude... to focus on positives and improvement. It's not talking about absolutes. We all may have different understanding, grasp, insight, wisdom and experience on various topics, but the important thing is to do the best of what we have. Those who backbite and focus on negatives are on the wrong course, no matter how informed or intelligent they are.
We must use our sense and senses, and avoid poisonous suspicion (4912), lest we become blind fools. The world becomes what we make it. We shape out world.
Peace

Peace brothers and sisters.
I honestly thought this thread will not go as far as 10 or so posts. I was wrong!
No doubt it will go on....
Well, best wishes to all of you.
Even if you have to turn away from them, as you pursue the mercy of your Lord, you shall treat them in the nicest manner.
Kind words and compassion are better than ... God is Rich, Clement
Tell My servants to treat each other in the best possible manner, for the devil will always try to drive a wedge among them. Surely, the devil is man's most ardent enemy.
Happy discussion to all, the round and the flat.
GOD bless you all ,brothers and sisters.
Peace .
Over and out from this thread for now. -

Salam, and Hello,
Pazuzu does not shy from taking on difficult subjects, he convinced me about Yemen with his diligent research gathering of Arabic and Hebrew resources, and for me it was indeed a paradigm shift as to the history of prophecy on Earth that led to Quran.
However on the subject of flat earth, I am not so sure.
I have a very open mind, so open bordering on the gullible.
As someone with some scientific training (I did some research and was exposed to science groups)
I find it very hard to believe that the field of astronomy is a big hoax, because of the intricate and immense complexity of all the science behind it, and the cataloguing of stars, galaxies, following measurable patterns, can just be dismissed as a scenario conjured up by some occult groups to blind us to the existence of a dome with a lamp and a refracting lens.
After all, Allah Himself said in the Quran that the creation of the Skies is far more complex than our own creation, so what's the point, if we cannot explore it? that He put a limit, that we cannot do it without his leave means that we will only be able to do it if He allows it, which is about anything that can be done, or not.
Sorry, this is absurd.
In this case, I am not convinced.Nothing more to add.

Salam Bro. Pazuzu
I watched some of the Youtube posted, the arguments about flat earth are not convincing at all, I just need look at the moon, with the naked eye I can see craters on the surface, and it looks spherical because it is.
Is the moon I see through naked eyes and binoculars a lens? come on.Maybe the stuff about going into space is a hoax, but using composite pictures as a proof of a cover-up that the earth is in fact flat does not wash, because if they could not get into higher space to take a full picture, the only option is to collate pictures from different angles and make a composite of a round earth.
Also, composite images from analysing spectroscopy readings of wavelengths from planets is a valid way of building a model to depict a planet, besides even astronomers amateurs can see stars and planets... or are their telescopes hacked too to show them fake images?
Allah refers to planets as kawkab, something round. The Earth and the Moon are round.
Pazuzu you are being hoaxed, not by NASA but by flat-earthers

-
Allah refers to planets as kawkab, something round.
The way I see it, kawkab refers to something which is bright/shiny/colorful, not expressly something which is round.
The Quran tells us that the LOWER heaven has been adorned with things that are bright and shiny. So the sky that is near us, just beyond the dome, is where the kawakib are situated. It is not hundreds of light years away, as they claim.
But of course, the heavens are great and expansive. Who knows what is out there?
The Earth and the Moon are round.
Doesn't mean they are solid spheres that can be walked on. The reason you think you see craters on the moon, is because the moon is coated with a certan metal (mineral) that gives it a phosphorent property, causing it to glow. It is basically a plano-convex lens, a one-sided mirror of sorts (bulging on one side, so the other side is never visible to us), coated with silver alloy. It catches the rays of the sun, absorbs them, and refracts them upon the Earth in the soft, glowing manner which we see. The moon is not something that we can walk on.
Stanley Kubrick, who shot the moon landings in a studio, inserted a message in his film "2001 A Space Odyssey", which actually came out one year before the Apollo 11 hoax. By decoding this message, you can see he was trying to warn us of something

Want to see the New-Delhi to Chicago flight path and how the AstroNOTS are lying scumbags? Listen very carefully to what this guy is saying, and you will understand the famous quote "the rope of lying is short". It is because when you lie, and then keep on inventing further lies to defend your original lie, you are going to slip up somewhere.
These Satanic deceivers, whose logo features a red serpent tongue, are filming their "spacewalks" right here on Earth. They conduct their interviews while being attached to a harness, which is then hidden by means of a green screen. You can tell they are wearing the harness (look at the position of their elbows and the bulge in their shirts, and the way their knees are bent).

Why do you say its a convex shape though that can't be walked upon? Where in the Qur'an does it say that it is that shape? If it is called a lamp, why isn't that taken as literally as possible as well? In ancient times they didn't have glow in the dark lamps or anything, they had flame lamps.

Hi Bro Pazuzu,
I have great respect for your work on South West Arabia compiling research on origins of Mankind and Prophecy,
but in this case of flat earth, I think you are misled. Not that I doubt they are faking their ability to reach the upper atmospheres of Earth, or even that they are unable to achieve space travel,
it is rather to do with Mechanics and Physics, Newton did not have CGI, Euclid before him did not have computer resources, yet they elaborated models of how the Earth and the Cosmos behave.
How about the Mayans which are even closer to us, did they fake their astronomical measurements?
The theories are sound until there are better theories that replace them.
We use them in our daily lives to predict motion of objects and interactions.
It is measurable, the equations are just models, I was a mathematical modeller once in theoretical chemistry, the Schroedinger equation, quantum chemistry and semi classical models are just maps.
We are limited in what we see, and we are limited by the accuracy of our instruments.
But it will take an impossible feat to devise a false model that covers all the angles.
You are wasting your time, I strongly reckon.
For me the feat of making such an elaborate construct as the Cosmos increases my belief in God not diminishes it, though a dome, a ceiling, a lamp and a prism, surrounded by ice diminishes it and confines it, and He said the Cosmos is a greater creation than Earth and ourselves.
Being very intelligent can be sometimes a curse, when you accept to be fed the wrong parameters.
How about turning this on its head and positing for a change that this conspiracy of flat earth is injected to confuse, and make us waste time on polemics, instead of dealing with developing our Nations and defending ourselves from the real enemy, Zionism and its Weapons of Death?
There are even those who argue that nukes do not exist... conspiracies can also be used as disinformation with intent.
