Praying: What have you gained from doing it?

I agree with Jafar's post to me, but I would say the best is to separate from the world of delusion, i.e. the god delusion. Just knowing the Sustainer (Rabb) is there is sufficient. It does not require worship (no needs) and all it expects is for people to be totally completed (al-rahman al-raheem) in its spirit. That you can do without barely ever mentioning the Sustainer or "Father" as Jesus said except if you are to explain the phenomenon of the Sustainer and like Jesus said "I am in the Father and the Father in me". The Sustainer inspired to Moses "I am who am I" which is interconnected. Therefore gods a concept is totally irrelevant and it is better not to have a god but perceive you are in its stead (image).
The prophets, or should I say "the insightful" (nabi), knew and they did not teach anything else but malicious people always interpreted their words as something else other than what they taught. And the Pagan delusion of physical or abstract gods has always been prominent and used as a tool for control.
There may also have been a bunch of false prophets preaching throughout history. Some people corrupted the two first "commandments" of the famous 'Ten Commandments' that they did not at all represent what Moses received and the original stone tables are mysteriously gone.
The first commandment was "Keep inseparably Being in the Sustainer united"
The second commandment was "Do not take an image of anything in neither Heaven (abstract) or Earth (concrete) and worship it"
And that was not because the Sustainer was jealous but due to a good piece of advice. Worshiping images is a human tendency and fallacy, and it may surely become detrimental. No reason to worship an image when you should follow Moses realization from the Sustainer about the 'I AM' phenomenon, i.e. 'I am who am I'. From there is the inseparable talk of the first commandment, to keep in merging and to be perfected, with a spirit Being totally complete (b 'esm allah alraham alraheem). Al-Rahman = Adverb Al-Raheem = Adjective. Understand that Al-Asema is the spiritworld and that "esm" is a derivative.
The one who contemplates can realize through science that if the universe was one core or singularity with compact mass which rapidly begun to expand then also the origin must be ultimately One, i.e. Wahed in Arabic. No separation of the Sustainer.
So like Jafar said (one alternative); it is better not to have gods at all to remain sane. It is better to acknowledge the Sustainer as the platform of existence and the best way is to be synchronized with it rather than worship it superficially. The Sustainer is in total control and like Jesus acknowledged about those who do the will of the Father "My words are not my own but of the one who sent me". Obviously not his will either. He did the will of his Father, because he was keeping to the Father inseparably. But to do the will of the Sustainer one has to let go of the contradiction, the distractions. Jesus gave many pieces of advice.
Be well Jafar and others

Peace Man Of Faith.
I do not understand your following comment
The first commandment was "Keep inseparably Being in the Sustainer united"
Sorry, please explain?
GOD bless you.
Peace. -
Hi good logic,
Perhaps the word order became a bit Semitic linguistically.
It meant that the first commandment was to "Be bonded Being united in the Sustainer" in a better rendition to adapt it into English.
'Being' is just my marker that the word allah is used. Rabb and allah are both used in the original Aramaic version, and the traditional interpreters translate it as "serve The Lord, thy God alone" which is not really accurate since they translate either the yaweh or allah word as God.
This way it is easy also to reconcile it with why Jesus said "Be in the Father and the Father in you" and why the Rabb said to Moses "I am who am I".
Be well

Made me smile!
I felt proud of you with each mention of various topics that had been recently going on like the Nabi thing and whatever.
Why do you believe in a Sustainer at all? Isn't it just you? Have you looked into Solipsism?
Wouldn't you agree that the "Ultimate Delusion" is in fact that there is a "mainframe" at all and that in fact it really is just all you behind it all? Is there really anything behind that door but a mirror?
Why do you believe any of this stuff at all, that there is a "Sustainer" and there is blah blah. What is, after all, it is just you who did it all, you are in the situation you are in because of you, but moreover, you are dreaming up everything in your experience totally. Like a lonely child making up imaginary friends, bit by bit you've grown up until now its a "mainframe" but is that really necessary as well? When you are dreaming in your sleep, don't you see people and things, and sometimes even see yourself or view from a certain perspective? Why isn't the delusion that you're forgetting that you are the only God? Don't you think that is where your awareness is leading you, if it hasn't already? Why are you wasting time and not announcing it?
Even the Qur'an will tell you so, and the Bible, you will read it and translate it and it will say it right to your face, won't you wake up? That is the enlightenment, when the door is fully opened, not realizing you're a "clone" or even that there is a God at all or mainframe or Sustainer. None of it. You are the one and only, the supreme power. You put yourself in this story, and you can change it too. Just like in a dream, you feel like you're not in control, but you're the one making it all happen. You aren't "supported" by anything but yourself, are you ready to go to the next step?
Watch the progression of your evolution in this dream of your making. Look at how you re-learned and re-educated yourself. How you left clues for yourself that might wake you up. How everything is telling you something, the same things, in the movies you like even. Opening your awareness more, you even left yourself clues in the scriptures which you translated and understood. It is like a movie where you've gotten amnesia and are now discovering God, then realizing who that God is, and in steps, because of your genius in the way you have attempted to awaken yourself again, you have gone from silly rituals, to abandoning them which takes incredible strength and confidence too, and then realizing God is not a person or a personality really but a Mainframe, and then soon you'll hopefully realize even that is only a stage in your growth as you realize there is no Daddy or Mommy, not even a computer mainframe Daddy or Mommy, but that it is fully you and your responsibility, it was always you, there never was a parent to you, this is about you making yourself a "Son" and growing to realize you are the Father, there is no mainframe that you're "within", it is you, just like a dreamer, but you're waking up. When you realize this, then you can go even further.
If not, argue it with me, and you'll perhaps refine more.

Peace Man Of Faith.
Still too complicated for me.
Here is a simpler version of the most important commandment
"'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
Using "Rabb", "Sustainer","Iam who I am""Be bonded to it"...etc and confuse a simple message is a different language to me.
Anyway, thanks for your post.
GOD bless you.

Peace. Here is an even simpler version of the "Most Important Commandment"
Mark 1229
"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this 'Hear, O Israel The Lord our God, the Lord is one.Deuteronomy 1012
And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORDDeuteronomy 712
If you pay attention to these laws and are careful to follow them, then the LORD
your God will keep his covenant of love with you1 John 25
But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them1 John 53
In fact, this is love for God to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,So what do we learn here?
That the foremost commandment is the Shahada, to Fear God, and that this "love of God" business "to keep his commands". That is it. Thank you!

Hello,
"'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
The statement is also true and the word Rabb is used.
But the first commandment is better rendered "Be attached (love) exclusively to the Rabb with all your heart and soul". Obviously it has to be interpreted properly too.
The point was that there is no separation.
It is hardly to confuse a simple message but how simple can it be what I say?
"I am who am I" is not hard to understand. You are who you are, who you choose to be. Choose to be in the image of the Sustainer as your originator and you have solved many issues and you do not have to do Pagan worship including rituals and it is also monotheism, albeit mono-pantheism. Humans tend to complicate things.

That man was surely wise, Jafar. Although Buddha is just his title (enlightened/insightful) much like nabi of the Semitic languages.
Gain nothing materialistic. That is just the best meditation. Pray for things which just harm you, why do that?
His utterance was rhetorical though for he had gained something abstract which caused him to be rid of emotions (awareness of who he is, i.e. a copy of the spirit of the Sustainer having no needs). But I know his thinking and it is a different school of thought which is the Buddhist view that you want to be absorbed in the void (the Sustainer's). Quran mentions it and it is called to be completed (al-rahman). The similar goal is propagated by Jesua and Quran, but the purpose is to cease existing separately and rather joined in the Father as Jesus said. And the successful will rule in symbiosis sharing the stream of existence as the Sustainer.
That is Jesus' teachings basically rounded up.
Other thoughts with separate gods is of the Gentiles, sorry to say. But we accept them as humans, only that they can become dangerous in their delusion to defend their gods. At least we must guard ourselves alone in I AM from temptations and the constant desire of the animalistic body.
I feel this faith is less complicated and more rational even if 'good logic' feels otherwise. But we all choose our destination.
But we (or at least I) deem that the Kingdom is at hand. It is nowhere else. No Paradise and no Hell except here. And at one point in the future the Sustainer will be beginning to implement its full rule and then the now apparent losers will rule, such as the Buddha of Jafar who showed they had no needs of this delusion and showed who will be the wise rulers in the Sustainer's spirit and who could control themselves even in a harsh environment (their bodies and against temptations of other bodies while attached to one).
Be well

Hundreds of study has revealed what Mr Gautama said is true..
Effects of Meditation on Brain
http//www.forbes.com/sites/alicegwalton/2015/02/09/7-ways-meditation-can-actually-change-the-brain/- Meditation Helps Preserve the Aging Brain
- Meditation Reduces Activity in the Brain?s ?Me Center?
- Its Effects Rival Antidepressants for Depression, Anxiety
- Meditation May Lead to Volume Changes in Key Areas of the Brain Reduction in Amygdala, responsible for fear, anxiety, and stress
- Just a Few Days of Training Improves Concentration and Attention
- Meditation Reduces Anxiety ? and Social Anxiety
- Meditation Can Help with Addiction
But of course you need to follow a STRICT rules about meditation such as
- How to wash yourselves before meditation
- Mantra to chant before the meditation (and must be spoken in Sanskrit)
- Mantra to chant during the meditation (and must be spoken in Sanskrit)
- No meditation for women during her period. (very dangerous, God will get angry and shall punish you harshly if you do)
- WHEN you should do the meditation (Mandatory 5 times a day unless for Women during her period)
- The direction that you are facing while doing the meditation. (you must face Kapilavastu, Nepal otherwise it shall nullify the meditation)
- WHERE you are doing your meditation (The best place is Kapilavastu, the benefits of meditating there is 7 times greater than any other place)
- You MUST go to Kaplilavastu for pilgrimage at least once in your lifetime.
- And last but not least, you need to testify that Siddhartha Gautama is the last and the best Buddha, there shall be no other Buddha after him or greater than him.

That is why I prefer no religion. Those things are completely opposite of the teachings of abstention from the world. Contradictory. Seek a worldly location to seek release from the world...
Not like I think the Buddha taught it but sectarian leaders and scholars in between.

It was a satirical remarks, there ain't no such thing in Buddhism.. at least as far as I encountered..
Relatively they're more sober than "the other groups".They will gladly share their Meditation technique to anyone from anywhere without requiring them to "convert" or "Make a testimony" to anyone or anything. And afterward if you want to create "your own meditation technique" then feel free to do so, and feel free to share it to others..

You argue perhaps that Eslam means submission,
Peace Man of Faith, you argue for me that Eslam means submission,
while to me Islam means "peace" or to be free from shatayn's grasp, anxiety and worry.
To accept Allah's decree, to embody the ways of zakat and prayer, and righteous behavior,
to honor my parents, to be just even against myself, humility, obedience and more.God bless
peace

Hawk99,
Now you lie to make the words appear in your favor. I did not argue it means submission.
Peace is an acceptable translation, but sound is more correct.
