hey guys do you think Allah dwell in us?
-
Can anyone find an ayat that says Allah dwells in us!
peace
there is no such ayat in whole book... that say Allah dwells in us or in angels ..
in one occasion allah said,, I listen to every callers when he/she calls.
on other occasion " we are near to them more than their juglar vein" even we dnt know what going on inside our body,
on other occasion "the creation of heavens and earth is more complex than creating human being"all these signs indicating opposite to dwelling inside
-
If now God is closer than the jugular vein then how can you say that God is not dwelling in you? Strange logic of yours.

its not my logic,, its the words of ur rab "closer"does not mean "inside" these two have totally different grammer meanings,,
I am inside my house
I m very close to my house.. -
Peace,
To answer the initial question, if Allah dwells in us, or more generally any where else, we can ask ourselves "where Allah Cannot/Will not dwell in?" and then give the reason why he cannot be there, in case you point to any place/space.
If you cannot find any place where Allah cannot be, then it means that Allah is in fact present everywhere.
Ps. In the above, Allah in Arabic means "the god" in English, and is referring to the creator of everything, seen and unseen, the origin.

Hi,
I do not understand your reasoning. I have here a pen, how is Allah present in the pen?

If you really want it then take any verse you like and translate it the way you want it and then tell people that this is the truth, very easy.
) @ Bender I'm here to learn not burn!

Peace Someone,
As imrankhawaja stated they are no dwell verses as per Quran, Allah is Al Khaliq (creator)
P.S. in English Allah is God, I've never anyone say "o my the God!"

If not, then why does my cat slyly hide/eat behind the door whenever he steals from the kitchen ?
Cats are big learners. Did you ever show reaction to his stealing before? If you did he learned that stealing is equal to illegal activity. My cats learned their list of illegal activities from our reactions.
in one occasion allah said,, I listen to every callers when he/she calls.
Could you provide the verse? I am trying to learn about it. Would be useful. Thanks.

yeh why not,,
chapter 2 verse 186 for everybody..
chapter 40 verse 60 for everybody..and chapter 21 from verses 76 to onward (for prophets but we can also get examples).

Peace hawk99,
Allah in Arabic is a contraction of al-ilah which means "the god". In al-quran, you cannot find this form "al-ilah", but you can find ilah, ilahokoum... so "ya ilahee" would mean "o my god". Or "ya Allah" would mean "o the god".
Allah is an "ilah", and he is the most truthful "ilah". So he is al-ilah, or allah in Arabic.

Hi,

Hi Bender,
Do you think that the god cannot be in your pen?
Let's start from the beginning only the god the creator IS. Only Him exists.
Then the creator created everything, in a transitory state ever changing, which ends up back to the god. We are from the god and to him we will return.
So everything in existence is from/of the god since only the god is existing ultimately, everything else is only a transition, us included.
I hope this is clearer. Please feel free to ask if you need more details.

Hi Mohamed,
I can not see anything godly in my pen.

In general I agree with this but what He creates is not Him according to me.

Hi Mohamed,
I can not see anything godly in my pen.
Let's start from the beginning only the god the creator IS. Only Him exists.
In general I agree with this but what He creates is not Him according to me.Your pen is energy, as per the physics. And the god is the ultimate source of energy, the origin of your pen and of all.
We are not the god, but we are from Him, and everything else for that matter.
Else, can you tell if your pen has a different (ultimate) source?
No one and no thing can be the god, because the god is unique, no thing is like him. BUT, every thing is emanating from him.
Although the god is above any example we may give to explain him and his nature, I would like to give an example imagine 2 cells in your body, being self-conscious, are trying to understand what is Bender, and even more, they are arguing about what is your favorite color... I hope you see the gap between your 2 cells and you they are from you, but they are not you and they can never be able to completely know you.
Another example, an image projected by a video projector the image is emanating from the projector, but it is not the projector itself. The image is made of photons created by the projector, but the photons are also not the projector. Now imagine that 2 pixels on the projected image are becoming self-conscious and are trying to understand their origin (like what we are doing here), how far can they go in their search from their perspective ?
The 2 pixels could understand that they are made of photons, and that there seems that all the photons are coming from the same point or origine. But they can never imagine how the video projector is made or who made it or even the material of which it is made. This is out of their reach.
This is to show how far we can try to go with our speculations, but I am sure that the god the truth is above all that which we may use to describe him.

I have put forward this analogy before to illustrate that point of God only existing and in spite of it, u existing to and not being God.
The analogy is dreams. We dream, our dream are not us but the dream is ours, without us there would not be tat dream.
We could say Creation is like a dream of God.
Salaam

We are a living miracle, made up of particles, apportioned out of a suspension. Born, with a purpose/promise to fulfill, into an divinely assigned world of duality, revolving around us, with an infinite amount of free/G-D given ressources.
Heaven & Earth. Sun & Moon. Day & Night. Light & Darkness. Hot & Cold, Soft/Hard, Wet/Dry, Etc. Thusly, we too are dualistic by nature, made up of two opposite parts/sides, one is incorporeal (jn) the other corporeal (insn). Anima (nfs) & Body (gsm). Reason (aql) and Emotion (fouad). Fem. & Masc. Two eyes, two ears, two lips, two hands, two feet, two balls, &c. Two Antipodes. Cf. The Law of Duality.
In my book, "right and wrong" is an intrinsic "program/software" found in most, if not all sentient creation, most notable in us, Adamites - the story of our primeval father/ancestor needs to be uncovered already - To the learned, undoubtly everything is created, designed, programed. And G-D, Exalted is He above every-thing, is not a thing. G-D is The Uncaused Prime Mover. The Appointer, The Absolute, The Divine, The ONE. Oneness transcends the twain. His, and His alone, are the most excellent Attributes. We can never see G-D. His Absoluteness ever can see through us. In fact, He knows us better than we know our selves (230). Reading us like an open book. G-D doesn't belong to us. We belong to Him. He lit. owns us. Never think of Him as your invisible wish-granting "genie" (like Sunnis do) ! For we are the inferior servants/slaves/owned and He is The Superior OverLord/Master/Owner of the worldlings/tellurians, and all that is ... We are not G-D's toys, we are a miracle. A sentient being that G-D lit. Honored and favored over many of His outstanding Creation.
Remember when G-D subjected His Agents (malykah) to us ?
Can ye see them now ?
Where's hybris @helios-centrists ?!
Ye just got reminded.

Hi,
Ok thank you.
But my 2 cells are part of me, in fact I am build with cells. The pen is not part of Him and He is not build with what He created.

Allah = God in English your Arabic definition that you use is yours!
Allah is Al khaliq the creator/ maker, the creator/maker is not part of the created
Ex. I create a song I am not part of the song!
You create a ....fill in........ you are not part of the .....your choice.............. yes
Moral of the story is creator and created are separate.

there is none worthy of worship, apart from Allah,
the everliving, the eternal, the master of creation,
the one that protects all that exist,
to him belong whatever is in the heavens and earth.say Allah is one , the absolute, unique
he bigets not ,nor he begotten,
and there is nothing like Allah..disbeleivers ask questions regarding their lord, but allah is above from whatever they associate with him..
in light of all these Allah cannot be a part of creation in any sense if you apply it whole unique concept of God take uturn..
he initiates the creation,, like a driver initiate the car, (a driver dnt need to be a car or patrol)
he created life and death to test among us..(so he cant be dead or get birth)he created human being and perfected it
he created human beings in stages
he initates history of mankind after offering the trust.if we think all things he created from his energy one need to check and understand energy is also created by Allah so pen till the stage to invisible energy are same infront of Allah energy matter source we need it,, not Allah
we need energy to create the things with already created things
we create something from something. that something where does it come from,,he created everything from nothing ... how can you say we are or anybody is a part of creator,,
