There is no Us or Our God...speak for yourself pls. You are talking like a cult member just like the sunnis and shias. You are yelling proof proof like a child. How do you Prove that God exist ? by a book..? really..!! Which book did Ibrahim follow to Understand God!! Which book did muhammad study to realize God before Quran was revealed to him !!! Without wisdom the book is just ink and paper with some stories. If you dont have any wisdom to understand the deeper meaning and go beyond words than Quran is nothing more than another object made of paper. Haven't fear already sparked a chain reaction of suffering among muslims ? Fearing(to me being concern) of the consequences and fearing God(like a dictator) is two different thing. God is manifested in everything...... You are failing to comprehend my understanding because you observe God like a character/persona..

    peace

One does absolutely need wisdom in order to proceed. Wisdom is even worth more than knowledge. Wisdom is to be able to make sense of what you know of something. Without wisdom knowledge means nothing.

With wisdom one is also able to distinguish true knowledge from false knowledge. One can know a lot of knowledge (information), but the question is whether the knowledge is authentic or rightfully interpreted.

Under wisdom comes logic and rationality. It is the ability to filter out the weak links and use what you know in an efficient way. The actual knowledge is not so important and experience of the world can actually teach a thing or two and much can be discovered by mere contemplation. Think of Abraham who could make out about Rabb when there was no Torah, no Injeel and no Quran. Intelligence is not bound to a scripture. A scripture is a tool to help people understand who cannot understand by other means and like a quick reference guide.

The moral lessons you can find clich?s of everywhere in the modern world. Many movies give moral lessons through their manuscript. Much is understandable by common sense because the human is not ill-equipped to understand the consequences of actions.

    Be well

So Satan is upon me? I do not fear God. It is more Satan to inflict fear in people. I serve the cause of God and that is not due to fear but because I wish to take a my part.

      Yes.

3175 It is only the devil trying to create fear for his allies, so do not fear
them, but fear Me if you are believers.

You are rejecting a clear command of God...

      Salam

Why would God want me to fear? Is God a mean person?

I recall Parvez Ahmad explaining that fear of God means fearing the consequences of violating God's Law.

No, God is the Most Kind...and He's not a person.
If someone fears his Lord, it's a mercy from Him. Why? There are sins which you would stay away from if you fear God.

Can I not stay away from them without fearing God then?

Anything that seeks to provoke fear in someone I learned is the work of Satan.

                  In the Quran it is stated Muslims have to do their best to progress in stages;

                  1. For all there will be ranks from what they did Thy Lord is not unaware of what they do.
                  2. And for ALL there will be ranks from what they do, that He may pay them for their deeds! and they will not be wronged .

I think in the early stages of progress one is likely to be in the state of various fears of the emotional types. These emotional types of fears has their pros and cons. Those who get too stuck in the these primary emotion of fears are not going to progress much.

At the higher stages of progress the type of emotion based fears turned to spiritual based 'fears' which are not within the grasp and control of the emotions . At the higher states of progress what dominates is the fa-ir'habni; warahaban; RHB; fear with reverence and in awe.

                  1. Then We heard his prayer, and bestowed upon him John, and adjusted his wife (to bear a child) for him. Lo! they used to vie one with the other in good deeds, and they cried unto Us in longing and in fear , and were submissive unto Us.

Thus there are two categories of 'fear' of God.

                  1. Kh W F types which are strongly emotion-based
                  2. R H B types which is not emotional but manifest from Tagwa, and higher stages of spiritual progress.

I still think the English word fear is very inappropriate for use in the context. Fear is when you feel uneasy and afraid of doing things to the extent that you become impaired because so much mental capacity goes on thinking on what fears you.

To be mindful is the possible word to use in that case. One should be mindful of what will happen to oneself, but to walk around in fear is only going to be disabling.

Fear is an instinct and emotional state, and I would urge people to refrain from fear and just do what is required. If people rely on fear in behaving properly in servitude to God they are surely spiritually inadequate. Mindfulness of the obligations to God would be a logical parameter of someone's life.
