Arranged Marriages are an INJUSTICE?

Arranged marriages are a source for unhappiness and injustice in a person's life. If you're going to commit to one person for the rest of your life (ideally) it better be one you actually love and that loves you back.
Not always but I think all individuals should choose their own partner.

Arranjed marriages are just a gamble with your life and your happiness. Besides, it is a total mistrust of your own capabilities of chosing your wife/husband.

I strongly oppose arranged marriage. BUT i know my aunts and uncles who were in arrange marriage and have a good life.Me too!!!
But I know a plenty of people who are really happy in an arranged marriage. But if they had a choice in the begining I am sure they would have chosen their own partner....perhaps same or similiar partners...but whatever the case I want every individuals to choose their own partner...

This JUST reminded me of something i saw on news today. The Japanese princess gave up her title and status to marry a commoner. Isnt that stupid?Yes stupid!

they don't exist here.
Marriage is a personal thing here, no parents would dare to interfere. They will give some advice of course and some opinion but from outside., the work is done before it is believed that it is impossible to choose someone who won't be accepted by the parents if the girl or the boy gets along with them, with the parents, because the preferences will be the same, the values, the likes and dislikes.
This has been the way for me, for my parents, for my grand parents, (for my great grand parents I don't know) and it will be the same for my children.
Besides, it is not ok here to think of marriage too soon after meeting the other person, it would be considered selfish and to get married without knowing the other person well would be considered a crazy thing.
