    peace

Those who reject the information that Mohammed is messenger of God are kafirs.(4150). And kafirs among people of scripture are worst of creatures. ( 986)

Peace kestrel. Idol-free,from his posts,is one of the most original,open-minded,honest,brave,and enlightened members on this forum......Rather than a hell-creature,he is probably a 'peace-loving' creature... bravo
    Peace all.

Sorry boys, but I cant call those people "peace-loving creatures", knowing that Allah called them "the worst of the creatures".No matter how original,open-minded,honest,brave,and enlightened they are, kafirs are kafirs.

Lets start verifying the verses of Qur'an

12 Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds,
        Alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena

How many Worlds are there in Universe? Verify this and provide scientific proof of the other worlds.

          Peace be upon you KGB,

How many Worlds are there in Universe? Verify this and provide scientific proof of the other worlds.

First you have to verify that Aalameena refers to "knowldgeable", not "worlds". If you dont verify you will be searching in the wrong direction.

Peace all. So a person could say jesus is the only son of god, without verification, and if you questioned him as to why he believed that,he could say; 'its part of my faith in the ghayb',(unseen.) ,or he could say; 'its written in gods book'.(the bible.) How does one get out of that conundrum?
            Peace all.

              Peace be upon you Kyle

Following are the transalations which have translated alAAalameena' as world or universe. alAAalameena' does not mean knowledgeable. This is not an convincing answer.

Khalifa - Praise be to GOD, Lord of the universe.
              Yusuf Ali - Praise be to God, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the world;
Pickthal - Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds,
Shakir - All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
Sher Ali - All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds,
"Progressive Muslims" - Praise be to God, the Lord of the worlds.

The verse simply lost the meaning with your translation knowledgable. There are more proof in the Qur'an that it does mean worlds but trying to keep it simple by not bringing all the verses.

I wasnt trying to convince you , just bringing my argument. Those who refuse to gather knowledge, but rely on blind belief, well....I dont know who thier Lord is.

"..My LORD, increase me in KNOWledge.."

I would be grateful however if you could bring the verses you spoke of.

                  Peace be upon you Kyle

This means you are the only one has the knowledge and wisdom to change the meaning of simple meaning of words. All other translations translated this word as worlds. Knowledge is not my God. Allah the One and only is my God. It looks to me that you started worshoping your own big ego.

Not right now. Lets first settle the meaning of this one simple verse here.

How does one get out of that conundrum?

then how is jesus son of god? was there a union between god and a woman? for a man to be the son of his father, his father needs to impregnate his mother phsyically....is that how that person understands jesus being the son of god?

it is simple...if ur reasoning holds such a union to be conceivable, hold that belief the god already has stated in the quran those who do not wish to believe by it wont believe even if they were to be given portents! and those who believe by it believe it based on reasoning! -)

also, if u are of those who hold that god states to be of those without doubt by demanding proof of every verse of quran, then bring a verse from the quran where god states this! somebody suggested 2111 an 2147, but these were quoted half and/or out of context! infact, rather than asking proofs for verification of quran itself, the verses plainly suggest that the quran itself is the proof and truth from god! so if somebody wants proof for every verse of quran, it is fine! but if somebody says that god states to ask for proof before believing in it, then provide a reference where god states this!

as for 1736, 4157 is a clear example of those who uphold things without having regarding it 'ilm' and observe how their conjecture is done away with an assertion in quran...so god's revelation itself is 'ilm'! ofcourse, this is for those who believe in quran to be from god those who have doubts over the content of quran can ask for as many proofs as they like, only they would do well to not pretend speaking based on quran when they are as yet in doubt over it, and when asked for proof of their claims they can offer none! -)

                        but as 21106 says

21106 Lo! there is a plain statement for folk who are devout.

Thank you TG. Your reply is much more reasonable and logical.

This means there is still a possibility of other worlds within our universe. When human can't verify this how they are going to verify the each word of Qur'an.

i guess the Quran verse that it says Allah created 7 earths like our earth, is far more to incline that there is other worlds within the same and only universe
