Quote of the day/week
-
"The believerts will win. WHEN THE BELIEVERS REACT! not by some magical inteferrence that some seems to be waiting for. You dont have to be a prophet to figure this out. When you get it AND you react upon it, things will change. And when you make that conscious choice, you will get help and support and thus be victorious." ~ Magi

Although this is controversial, it is funny.
"There aint nothing holy about Mecca, there aint nothing holy in Rome, and there sure as hell is nothing holy about Jerusalem. Yeah the stories...they are full of holes. So it would be the holey Mecca." ~ Magi

Please reflect on your position and take a step back, and not waste time pereaching to the converted, every second wasted is a great loss.
By (the Token of) Time (through the ages),
Verily Man is in loss,
Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds,
and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth,
and of Patience and Constancy.Lets get back to real world and bandage the bleeding. ~ Burhan21

...understand that in reality, both sides are to blamed, or, better, both sides are to be pitied for unknowingly working together in a "partnership" of negative thoughts. ("I am poor, pitiful, oppressed." "I am big, strong. If anyone dares to cross me, I'll kill them!" for instance....)

Well, personally I do think the messengers were 'special' humans in the sense that their behavior were exemplary, exceptional and more importantly much better than average humans like me. However, in my opinion their 'specialness' as humans were not way better than the 'specialness' of people like Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi or Mother Teresa because I think people like them are really special too.

The Divine feminine...how does one give birth and remain a virgin? Mental Creation!! Thats how ;D That which you put in your nafs(feminine)..your subconcious, you give birth to. You are what you think and imagine you are. Let God impregnate your spirit/nafs(feminine) and bring forth Its righteous character. ~ Idolfree1

lilyfleur Sis Sweden, btw, I noticed on another thread you mention zodiac signs and such. Do Muslims believe in astronomy?
jankren Muslims are people too you know. I for example find astronomy kind of interesting. The most important thing is that we do not believe in it 100%.
jonny_k Peace sis "lyli" and bro "jankren",
I beleive theres a confusion here. "Astronomy" is the science os stuying the physical universe. What you are talking about is "astroLOGY" which is a pseudoscience and nonsense and good Muslims reject it. GOD Bless!rotfl rotfl rotfl

Thanks to you Lily. I sound real dumb in that thread ;D ;D.

Peace jankren,
jankren "Thanks to you Lily. I sound real dumb in that thread." ;D ;D
I think these guys ;D ;D mean I didn't really hurt your feelings, but just in case...
( No you don't jankren (sound dumb). It was me, the one with English as a FIRST language who shredded the word astroLoGy. You don't sound dumb at all. You just made the very small mistake of using the same word incorrectly as I had. But what I loved about your statement was the part where you said, "muslims are people too you know", which when related to believing in astroNoMy (the science of the universe in which the stars, planets, etc. are studied, including their origins, evolution, compositon, motions, relative positions, sizes, etc.), makes perfect sense. I honestly hadn't even noticed that you too said astronomy and not astrology. However, astroLoGy is sometimes referred to as "primitive astroNoMy", so it's an easy mistake to make. I'm sorry if I embarrassed you. It was my goof-up, followed by your pointing out that of course Muslims study astroNoMy that I thought so deserving as the quote of the week, for being so funny. As for astroLoGy though, I tend to agree that the study of stars and such affecting human behavior, therefore foretelling the future isn't imho in line with what the God says.
Peace and love,

The problem lies not within our differences, it lies within the need to compel others to shape their minds like ours =adley=

"Can I get some chapstick. My lips hurt real bad!"
Napoleon Dynamite
Though the quote may seem simple, irrelevant, and stupid to some, the genius lies upon the interpretation. By inserting the Can in the phrase, this is insinuating a reader whom "supplies" the chapstick. Furthermore, the simplicity can be analogized to a code. Lips can refer to "genitals" bad can refer to "hunger" and chapstick can refer to something "sexual." Encontraire, there is also a possibility it can be a drug reference. This is a lesson to all you guys who use sophisticated language to enhance your reputation around you, but in reality, people who use simple everyday words are the true geniuses, who conceal messages among each other. THere are two types of thinking. Structural, math, spelling, basic robotic thought, which takes experience and memorization, and the other more superior, subconcious type... emotional, psychological symbolism found in poetry, music, and movies which requirse common sense, experience, a bit of psychology, and true understanding of the persona.
