It seems the Zionists would do anything to achieve their dream of 'Greater Israel'.

Anyway, I can't really blame them though. Any government in the world would like to have bigger territory.

Quote of the day/week?
here's a quote of the yearThe Quran, 2214 Or did you expect that you would enter Paradise, while the example of those who were before you came to you; they were stricken with adversity and hardship, and they were shaken until the messenger and those who believed with him said "When is God's victory?" Yes indeed, God's victory is near.
I think that this ayya speaks volumes.
We have to fight.
We have to strive.
We have to be patient.
We have to stand firm.
We will win, inshaALLAH.Peace.

You never seem to cease to say amazing things Alen bro.
peace be upon you bro!Salam.
Thank you, brother Haroon.
I have been feeling down lately but i have good friends around me to remind me what is our goal and who is our enemy.Remember, brothers and sisters throught the world our goal is Paradise and our enemy is satan, so let's not fight each other, let's stand firm and be patient and let's not argue about small things.
We have a bigger goal to accomplish - Paradise, a world without any pain, suffering or sadness. A world where we will live in the eternal peace, experience true love and much, MUCH more.
God willing.
Peace.

It is brave for people to swim against the tide and to not be caught up with maintaining the status quo.~ Haroon
I believe what I believe in is the truth. However, everybody in this world believes that what he believes in is the truth. We believe that what others believe is not the truth and others believe that what we believe in is not the truth either. So, what I'm saying is simply that we should not take what we believe as truth for granted because we will only know whether the truth we believe in is the actual truth or not when we meet face to face on the judgement day with the Lord of the Heaven and the Earth. ~ Jankren

Quote from Brother Warner,
We are not here to discuss whether I will do or not. We discuss what the Quraan says. See the above verse. You are like a PR agency trying to spin doct and make Islam attractive to people with your fancy manipulations, but Allah does not need that. He has set the laws, man has to obey them. Bending the Quraan to make it more attractive to people is not one of my objectives.
i guess , this is true for a few on this forum.

People think miracles are needed so God can show His Power, seems creating the Universe is not enough, He needs to show He can break the Laws He created Himself! How irrational the human-being is.....
The Universe is enough proof for God's Power and Wisdom. It's only problem is that it goes against the popular belief and approach.

No naming names, please.
I think that although we may have differences of opinion, accusing others of manipulating the Quran is wrong (except in the case of rashad khalifa). I don't think anyone on this forum purposefully changes the meaning of the quran for personal gain. I think it's just that our interpretations based on our personal world view are different.
"He has set the laws, man has to obey them," is what bro. Warner said. Well, I don't like it when people make these kinds of categorical statements because the whole argument is about what God's true message is, and what his laws are. If there was a clear cut, single answer, most of us would be following it. But there isn't. -
salaam,
I think that although we may have differences of opinion, accusing others of manipulating the Quran is wrong (except in the case of rashad khalifa).
And how do you know if Rashads intentions won?t sincere?
People say that about bro Aidid Safar too.
I don?t know anyone in the forum who are manipulating the meaning of the Quran, perhaps there are some cherry pickers, but there is nothing wrong with cherry picking, in fact it should be encouraged.

The mentality that allows for symbols, words, images, to become important unto themself. thats how a kaaba bvecome important, how a cross become important on its own, a star become important. You think you freed youself of this thinking when you tossed hadith and became a 'free mind', but you didnt.

Without wishing to enter the debate, this is a truth / a questioning which each of us will face (in the mirror) sooner or later - or at least (imo) it should be that way.
peace all, elke

The problem is not one of tolerance in America. One can find places that will be tolerant. There will always be places full of the intolerant, that's how places are. The problem is our government is slowly stripping away what freedoms we had and leaving us only with an illusion of freedom. Which sadly shows that the freedoms we thought we had were only better illusions of those same freedoms.

The reference point is the inner compass, which is always in harmony with God's guidance because it is, in itself, divine. Reading the qur'an, you find yourself saying, "yes...of course, that makes sense" because we have built-in barometers of how to live harmoniously in peace. The same goes for any other source that contains "truth". We already have it and can tap into it at any moment. And once we recognize it, then it is up to us to implement it if the brain and body are not already in accordance with it. Thus we establish harmony and balance, and ultimately, peace. ~ Tay
