and was influenced by the Isis-cult who believed Isis was a virgin given birth to Horus.
Just to clarify this story (because it is just as corrupted as this message has become), the original story was NEVER taken literal. Heru (greeks call horus) represented the WILL. The WILL is what is missing in the majority of mankind. They are BLIND FOLLOWERS (i.e. why do you follow what your father followed?). They follow the WILL of others, instead of using thier own WILL. When you dont use your WILL you follow desire/emotion.
Picture this, you are standing at a crossraod trying to decide if you should go left or right, all of a sudden someone comes up and PUSHES you to the left. That is what your emotions do, they PUSH you in a certain direction. When you do something based on like and dislike, that is not choosing, that is not WILLING. If you are trying to quit smoking and you are at a gathering where you just ate a good meal and all the cigarrette smokers are now getting ready to light up, your emotions are PUSHING you to smoke. If you do not smoke, THAT is willing, because there is no energy pushing you not to smoke.
So the point is that Heru(horus) is your WILL. Auset (Isis) is your faculty of TRANCE, which is the means by which all conditionings are aquired in your life. Auset, when devoted to the ressurection of Ausar(Osirus) - The God within-, gives birth to the WILL. This is to say that when all your thoughts and actions are directed towards purifying your NAFS, your will is born. It is a "virgin" birth because no other is needed except the God's Word.
And so the story continued through many traditions.
Regarding Adam, that is the human intellect. The part of your subconsious that gives verbal expression to your thoughts. No the first human being. Remember this is not a fabricated history, this is guidance for human behavior.

Yes, Idolfree, i believe Adam stands for the first peoples and the whole of humanity. As for the Isis-cult. In Greece, it became something different then from the Egyptian theology. I was refering to the Greek cult, not the Egyptian cult. If you look at the statues and pictures of Isis with Horus and compare them with Mary and Jesus in the catholic church, you will see they are the same.
