Why do we judge people based on what they call themselves? why not not call ourselves anything? Why not avoid meaningless labels?

They are not meaningless labels. In fact, they DO have meanings, but people do not fit with the meanings. People try to identify themselves as such so that they can have some moral high ground compared to others, sneer at others.

People will call themselves things they want to. What counts is their actions and whether their actions are in line with what they claim to be. So it would be wise to leave them with their labels. Forget about their labels and just look at their actions, their attitude etc... )

peace Reza,Why not translate Allah? I don't get it. We all know what I mean by God. When I say God, no one is stupid enough to think I'm talking about a godess or godfather or demi-god.

Well, I guess Mr. Reza one who is "stupid enough" to think that you are not talking of "Allah".

well enough.Silence implies consent. No one replied. It just means that everyone either agrees with me, or doesn't care about what the hell shirk actually is. What do you think?
        peace

        Mr. Phoenix.

Most people have FIXED in their minds that "Silence implies consent"! Silence DOES NOT necessarily imply consent! Just look at your own statement. "doesn't care about..." is not equal to "consent".

              peace
I was just thinking, can't a person be a rejector and a believer at the same time?
For example I try to be a good person, I try to live within limits and try to learn and improve myself. But there are a few things that I can't accept (even though I know they might be true). Maybe something like evolution. I am a good person in everyway but I can't accept that theory as true even though I have seen the evidence.

You have seen a monkey turn into a human?

No. But that would be quite interesting...

But contrary to the example, I do accept evolution. Or at least it's general idea.
