OUR GOD

TO ANDYA PRIMANDA,
What do you mean by this I am not sure I understand your sentence here.
Ok I understand where you are comming from. Here is my next question. And if I sounded arrogant by saying this I did not intend to I was just asking you those questions to see where you stood on them. I ment no arrogance.
But to my next question do you believ the world will end does the Quran support this. If it does how does it say the world will end and when. And what do you think about this.
Sincerely, Abuja
Will the world end? Yes, I think the Qur'an said so.
How will it end? Qur'an describes some major changes (earth opening, mountains flying, etc).
When will it end? Qur'an doesn't specify.
What do I think? Not a major concern. It's more likely that I would expire first before the world end, and by then, it's all up to my own deeds anyway. I'm more concerned that some people want to create an early doomsday using their deadly weapons and deadly ideologies. And these people call themselves true Muslims or true Christians (or true Jews, but as far as I know the hardline Jews are not planning to destroy the planet).
Anyway, don't you think we're starting to get off topic here?

Peace all,
Just thought I'd drop some poetry on this thread...
Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you, yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts.
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness;
For even as he loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.
-Khalil Gibran
Peace Tay,
Fantastic! thank you.

To ALEN I will be answering these questions very soon. I have been researching this subject for some time and soon I will present my caes and facts. You see I am a Christian but what you dont understand is that I dont believe in the false trruth that the American churches try to get everone to believe. There is much more to it then many have been led to believe.
- If you think that Jesus is a god, then who did Jesus pray to?
- If Jesus is god, how can this god not save himself from the crucifiction?
- Who needs this crucifiction anyway?
- If Mary gave birth to god, then shouldn't she be a god herself?
- If god died on the cross, shouldn't reality be under our control and also time travel?
- Since people BEFORE Jesus couldn't believe in Jesus, are they going to Hell?
- Some people think Jesus is the son of a god. Where's god's wife then?
And to understand completley you do agree that God created us. And when I say Jesus was God son I dont mean that God gave birth to him. WOuld you not say that you are a son of God.
Sincerely, Abuja
TO ALEN,
Here are some short answers to your questions, I will be posting the rest later.- I do not think Jesus is God but Gods son. And the Bible clearly states Jesus prayed to his father God.
- Jesus could have saved himself from being crusified as also stated in the Bible, but he did not because he was following Gods will for is life as also stated in the Bible
- According to the Bible we all do. This is how Jesus died for our sins, and how we recieve forgiveness through him. In the Old testiment if you commited a sin you were stoned to death, etc, no because Jesus died and suffered punoishment for our sins we gain forgiveness through the sacrifice he made when he died for our sins.
- No she gave birth to Jesus the Son of Man. I will elaborate when I post the rest of my reasons.
- God did not die on the cross, Jesus did.
- No we are held accountable for the truth we have at the time we are alive.
- This I will also explain when I post my reasons that show Jesus is the Son of God. There is a lot to it.
Sincerely, Abuja
