NEW HERE SOME QUESTIONS/a bit crude warning***

Salaam
I am very new to this forum and i am so impressed mashallah. I havent quite understood though is it different to traditional thinkin islam? I am a born sunni muslim, husband to be is sunni mum and dad sunni, every where i go sunni which doesnt bother me. But as a 22 year old muslim woman I have pondered many questions about islam, when i read the quran i do question how sunni scholars have interpreted it..i am not well educated in islamic studies think i knw the basics yet i am searchin for my truth. Anyhow many things i feel people really twist to, is things such as hijab, Ive read and read and tried to look for where it mentions one MUST where a hijab cover her hair..i dont see it.
The other is a bit rude..but i do beg your pardon its IMPORTANT for me..I am so sorry if this is vulgar or crude but masturbation isnt mentioned as haram in the quran as FORBIDDEN I do believe Allah wouldnt forget to add such things yet the prophet muhammad, is it mentioned in the Quran a muslim MUST follow his path to be successful here on thie planet? I am confused..
The question referrin to masturbation is this, I have a few muslim female friends who are pious muslims but admit to masturbation, now my question is, if you have sexual intercourse between man and woman obviously one has to bathe, if you masturbate wots the etiquette in order to be in front of allah whilst performing salaat?
And does one burn in hell fire for not performing salaat? I am sooooo sorry for stupid questions im not a weirdo im just very inquisitive and wish for any form of help in findin these particular answers. I mean no disrespect to anybody.
Peace

welcome to the forums welcome, I dont have a Quran so i wouldnt know what to say about this. But I feel masturbation is acceptable. Why would god make sex an pleasureable act if he didnt want us to do it?

peace star and welcome
masturbation its like sex,in the sense that u achive an orgasm
the quran says when u cant find water for wudu u can use sand, after u have been with women or done your body needs.
the sand technique applies to sex but if not u need to shower when u have WATER?!?!?!,it says nothing about a shower.wudu for salaat is simple, shower is personal choice.peace be with you

Welcome sister
As for masturbation, the traditional position varies between totally forbidding it, considering it "haraam" and a total tolerance (Ibn Hazm, I think), as long as it does not regularly replace sexual intercourse in a married couple. One scholar (ach'chafii I think but I am not sure) considers it even an obligation if there is a fear of committing "zina" (out of marriage sexual relation)!
The verses on which the "forbidders" rely are
Successful indeed are the believers, Who are humble in their prayers, And who keep aloof from what is vain, And who are givers of poor-rate, And who guard their private parts, Except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess, for they surely are not blameable, But whoever seeks to go beyond that, these are they that exceed the limits;I don't report hadiths, of course, although there are many about this false problem.
All the problem is 1. what is meant by guarding their private parts 2. Is masturbation considered "beyond that"?
For me, there is no problem with episodic masturbation, either in adults or adolescents. I really don't see the difference between someone masturbating while having sex with his/her mate and doing this alone. As a doctor, I can assure you there is no problem with this kind of act as long as it does not generate a culpability complex or become an obsessive act. Of course, medically speaking, masturbation must not become the only way for sexual fulfilment, replacing the "normal" sexual sensual sentimental relationship.
For the question concerning bathing after masturbating, well, I think that as it was said, one must consider bathing after masturbating. It is not very clear in the Qur'an if we have to consider the word "junuban" as the state after sexual intercourse or after any sexual "act", including erotic dreams with or without orgasm (in men or women) and masturbation (self administred or passively, by the mate) In traditional islam, one sould'nt bathe after having an orgasm as long as there is no ejaculation in men or emission of vaginal fluid (they call it ejaculation!!!!) in women. They say, for example, that if some one has the sensation of ejaculating and applies firmly his hand on the urtehra preventing "ejaculation", he doesn't need to bath. This is total ignorance since ejaculation occurs then in the bladder and is eliminated in the urine! And for women, emission of vaginal fluid is not similar to ejaculation but one can compare it to erection since it is a sign of high sexual arousal. Unfortunetely for us, men, there is no comparison to be made between feminine and masculine orgasm ;D Orgasm in men does not mean ejaculation and orgasm in women may not occur even after high arousal.
That is why I think that "junuban" is related to orgasm which is the only "intersection" between all these concepts. A man or a woman who have sexual intercourse without achieving orgasm may not bathe, in my opinion. As for salaat, the contact prayer, I am afraid one can not consider himself as a muslim if he doesn't keep a kind of contact with his Creator. How you perform this contact prayer is another question. Burning in Hell? Only God can say, since only God knows the inside of the hearts...
So, don't feel guilty and try to be closer to God, God will help you for sure
God bless you

Peace all,
Maybe a small piece of flame.
as i understandMasturbate. If that is the only way of unloading the body. BUT keep your ASTRALE LIGHT clean.
ASTRALE LIGHT is the power of imagination. It is the opposite side to the verbal thinking. This power exists on higher levels of manifestation. So it is closer to GOD! What you project in this sphere not only changes you internally but it also attracts you to certain experiences in life! so you change from within and outer world reacts to it. The imaginations gets programmed in the subcosciouse mind! your ego gets complicated! It will start to emote meaning emotions come to control your wil.
enough talked for now
peace,
If you masturbate with imagination of a lover which you have never known, do not do it!
Then marry an imaginary lover and stay with that one. Or simply maturbate without any imaginations, that is far the best.During the moment of orgasm the physical body comes in touch with the HIGHER SELF. That is the reason for that extreme joy and ecstasy. The EGO disappears completely at that moment. The experiencer, the experience and the experienced become one. No Subject is remained. You have no notion of yourself. The SUBJECT has disappeared! That is why masturbation becomes an addiction! The intensity of experience will be rememberd! so this means that you have to organize yourself on natural frequency and keep it in control
This control with the natural rythm brings spiritual power! The body and mind come in control! One of the meaning of motagheen is those who are master of themselves.

It is an exemplary path because it is the path of Abraham .
