I do not remember in The Quran any such word (in Arabic "hurr", "hurriah"; even for freeing a slave, it uses the Arabic word "faqqu" which means release).Have a nice day

iam sick of all these people who call themselves atheists. I believe they are just cowards and lazy and do not want to take responsibility. They are just too childish. they get all the good things and opportunities of life and they believe its free. God is trully patient. just because this forum says its for free minds does not mean I am free to swaer obscenities to anyone on board. Civilisation is about law and order. The law of the one that you and i know exist even though you deny because you do not want to be gratefull.Kirbytime & Peace can hold their belifs to themselves and i wish them all the best.(remember) The Quran was sent to LI QAUMI YATAFAKKARUN and not to the JAHILUN or the SUFAHA.

i know quite a few atheists and i can say from experience they are the worst and the way ansi described them is correct

I dont think that its 'atheists are bad people' directly. More indirectly, because atheism has no morals for people to live by, there is nothing personal to stop them. So atheism is bad becuase of no belief at all. Not bad belief.

Yeeep I must be the devil incarnate. I'm not an atheist though, but you can label me anything you want. Maybe you're right and I should take my views to another forum, but I've been reading this forum for years now and it's kinda stuck with me. If everyone told me to leave I'd have no hard time doing it, I just find having discussions with some of these people on the board very insightful. -

I think Atheist are better than traditional Muslims who have many gods. Atheists are half Muslim because they believe in "La Ila ha" <there is no god> they just have to realise "IllaAllah" But GOD. They are not bad people they are impatient.

Easy peeps.There are many atheists (incuding myself.) who have strong ethics and morals. Having a wife and two children i feel i am a responsible and commited person.I am 100% faithful to my wife,dont drink or take drugs,or earn money from immoral behaviour. I follow logical societal laws and try to have compassion for society in general. I dont discriminate people soley on their views or metaphysics,but on their ACTIONS in life. I dont even need to define myself as an atheist,i acknowledge that some of the greater questions of life and the universe may be currently unknown or unresolved,and so i keep a somewhat open mind on matters of god,life after death and the supernatural.....Having said that,with the evidence and life experience i have currently i surmise that their is no god except cause and effect,and that science is the messenger......

Well what is freedom anyways? I mean since I came here some years ago I got some food for thought, which is the best you can hope for really. Everyone will interpret how they will in the end. But you get to come across some pretty unique characters out here along the way.
And please pay tribute to Layth al-Shayban. The man has a lot of guts doing something like this for such a long time and much love goes out to him from this direction. The man lives in Wahhabite Islamic HQ for Pete's sake. bravo
