    This is about Ruminants who keep regurgitating the old material and are not attentive to any thing new in their surroundings. They are the people who keep on orchestring the stories listened from the forefathers and tale tellers {exactly like regugitating}. I just drew your attention to your translation that cattle are astray. I wished you to listen to the Book alone since what other said is not necessarily the word of Book.

    You are right

    (7179) And certainly We have created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind; *140 they have hearts with which they fail to understand; and they have eyes with which they fail to see; and they have cars with which they fail to hear. They are like cattle - indeed, even more astray. Such are utterly heedless

          Peace all,

          "Balaagh" and "3allim" are not synonymous. Neither means just giving a book to someone.

          Balaagh = convey/deliver using one's best ability

          3allim = make someone to know, give information/knowledge of something to someone

          The Prophet conveyed/delivered the words/signs of The God using his best ability (balaagh) by making others to know the words/signs of The God (yu3allimuhum). The words/signs of The God themselves are the knowledge and the wisdom and contain the full explanation relevant to our guidance.

            I would also like to post some verses just for people to see

            551 The Most Gracious.
            552 Teacher of the Quran.
            553 Creator of the human beings.
            554 He taught them how to distinguish.
            555 The sun and the moon are perfectly calculated.
            556 The stars and the trees prostrate.
            557 He constructed the sky and established the law.

            Peace
