"Obey the Prophet" refers to Political Obedience

My dearest brother, hopefully you?ll reply and not ?beat around the bush.?
I did answer and left it as ?teach/instruct? so you can come back to tell us it means we are supposed to follow in every detail from sleeping, walking, eating, etc., except perhaps the sunna of eating watermelon ? no joke and remember according to one of the sunni schools of thought (Maliki perhaps) they weren?t sure to cut it with a knife or bite, thus refused to eat watermelon.
Waiting for answers to my simple questions above you keep dodging.

Do you know the language of the Quran ie Arabic?
I have repeatedly asked ,which arabic word in the verse has been translated as "giving the book".You are telling me English words.
Tell me exactly the that "Arabic word" or leave the topic please.I will definitely answer your questions but first clarify my confusion.

I will talk about this root of (,, ) later.But the actual verse is as follows
Would you please let me know which "b^ab" of arabic this word " belong to?
Which properties of meaning does this b^ab carry ?
If you had known this, you would have consulted the dictionary correctly. -

WayuAAallimuhu alkitaba waalhikmata waalttawrata waal-injeela

While you are talking about roots; perhaps explain how God taught per above verse?
Oh, started learning Arabic; therefore still prefer left-to-right and stuff like this is very difficult to see.
Take your time answering; perhaps by then I?ll be proficient enough to stay in Arnold?s topic. ;D

Dear Leoxyz,
The things are quite clear. Allah says that the Book has been sent upon "you people". You know and I know the Book was sent to the Last Messenger. It is thus evident that the Book was sent for "We the people". And Allah says follow the Book. What people say and attribute it the Last Messenger is no more than scud, non verifiable. Teaching the Book denotes nothing else but communicating what is written in the Book to other people. Hundreds of people kept asking the Messenger to tell them something other than Quran but he always refused to say anything other than Quran as is recorded in the Quran. If the Messenger said many things so that it could reach you and me through a chain of people, good and bad includud, why was he so reluctant to "teach" those people one or two things from himself?

Dear Brother ;
I have seen a common practice on this forum ,that people usually avoid the revalent question and start a thing which is not relevant.
My question was simple ,I repeat
Are the folowing two actions synonymous
1To give a book
2To teach/instruct a book
???????
If possible answer in "yes" or" no' -
Yes, it is in many ways one and the same thing. It would be stupid on my part to hand over a book to someone about whom I know he cannot read the book. If you can't read a book in Japanese and I know it, and even then I give you a book saying it is an excellent book, you may feel I am making fun of you. I will read it to you its contents in the language you understand. You read out the book only to those who are listening to you in front of you. For the posterity you will leave the book in writing. Messengers taught people what they did not know earlier and that included his own person. It was to tell what is written in the Book revealed to him. There is a mention of our promise/agreement and that is only about the Book not about the so called teachings collected/compiled by people after unnecessarily roaming from city to city despite the fact that they knew that any one who decides in any matter and in any manner and other than what is sent in the Book is a Fasiq, Zalim and Kafir.

If this is the condition of "Balagha" of the language ,honestly I have become dumb.

Surah 72. The Jinn, Sprites
- Say It has been revealed to me that a company of Jinns listened (to the Qur'an). They said, 'We have really heard a wonderful Recital!
- 'It gives guidance to the Right, and we have believed therein we shall not join (in worship) any (gods) with our Lord.
1035 Say "Of your 'partners' is there any that can give any guidance towards truth?" Say "It is Allah Who GIVES guidance towards truth, is then He Who GIVES guidance to truth more worthy to be followed, or he who finds not guidance (himself) unless he is guided? What then is the matter with you? How judge ye?"

Probably it is the way the Quranists think.(446) Among those who have become Jews ,there are some who alter the words from their context, *

Sorry I am not so knowledgeful that I can talk to such people who do not know the difference between;
1Giving a book to someone
2To teach/instruct .
When a librarian gives you a book ,it means he teaches you ?
Then no need of a teacher ,no university expenditure.

God is not a librarian nor is Qur?an a paperback. (A Misguided thought)
People are given The Book and guided (taught) by God or go astray.

"They are like cattle - indeed, even more astray. Such are utterly heedless" {Leoxyz}
This is a story coming from the past. Do you think cattle are astray? None of them is astray. If the people have been translating the words of Allah in a manner and in words that were never said/communicated by Allah, how can you depend upon the stories sent to you by the past people? If you believe them then you will find that "Qala Ibne Abbas" that sperms come from the bosoms of the woman. Should I make my self an idiot and stupid by believing the words of Ibne Kathir and many others?

Why are you upset with these verses by the way?{Leoxyz}This is about Ruminants who keep regurgitating the old material and are not attentive to any thing new in their surroundings. They are the people who keep on orchestring the stories listened from the forefathers and tale tellers {exactly like regugitating}. I just drew your attention to your translation that cattle are astray. I wished you to listen to the Book alone since what other said is not necessarily the word of Book.
