question about quran

Peace,
I believe, the appropriate term for the believers used in the Quran is eiter "Momineen" or "Muslim"?
You do realize Moses' followers, Jesus' followers, Jacob etc.. etc... use the term 'muslim' in quran. Put the 2 and 2 together. It's not / couldn't possibly be a title.

1st statement by the aforementioned person - ?I am a prophet? and we accept, right? Well, I am not exactly sure whether any messenger (except Moses, perhaps) even claimed to be a prophet/messenger but only ?a warner? and/or ?a bringer of glad tidings?.
I have entered only to clarify that the above perception is not correct.
All the Messengers first introduced themselves as the Messenger of Allah before communicating the message they were sent with. Here are some references
761, 67, 104, and the Last Messenger has addressed the humanity to tell them "I am the Messenger of Allah towards you all" {7158}
2616, 107, 125, 143, 162, 178

Thanks for the welcome, DArgento, and the reference to the article on the term "Muslim"... I look that up and think about it.
