it would be cool if people learned greek before talking about logic and all the philosophical terms. just like they are learning arabic to understand the quran. i mean think of it. shouldnt we varify all these terms in there orginal languages also? to see where these philosophers came with this approch on logic.
It is really interesting its like why depend on this imperfect form of logic to base all your arguments on?

Christianity is very hellenistic and it seems like people are trying to make the Quran hellenistic too.. with all these terms.

EDIT I have 2 friends getting there majors in philosophy and the one i spoke to does say that greek is the way to go when talking about philosophy. which makes sense... western philosophy is based on greek philosophy.!!

actually the day you posted it i checked it out. i think its cool that we have a list of what "muslims" did for the society. And would use it to debunk false claims that "muslims" are barbarians.
Other then that i think there are people from all religions and beliefs that had great ideas that benifit others thanks to God.

First they are not Muslim they are Mohammedans. Then is not practical to bring those ten thousands as witness for accuracy of verses when such forging is on the line. At the end how many can understand the Arabic grammars, root of words , spelling ....etc. hence all they need to see proof by Miracle on this screnn is knowing how to +-/* 1-9 .

They dont call themselves "Mohammedans" the least you could do is describe in a way that you and they would agree, not some name that is made up. They follow Quran + Hadith.
So refer to them as Muslims who follow Quran + Hadith instead of using the term "Mohammedans" which is very offensive and rude.

IT was already in a previus post that it was mentioned.... I forget which one. Its a very good thing that we all become educated in this word! I see polygomy written in religious articles! it shows that some people dont look up the words that they speak. I dont look up all the words i speak either but its a good time to start! like Cult,Ideology, Religion, Ritual. and how people use these words against people. I find myself explaining people words so they dont have a bad connotation. And I also see people in this forum having to explain words. Which i learn from at times.

IT also depends on the individual. Perhaps when Ayman says THe Merciful he doesnt mean it the way you worded it. He means it in context.
