  • What is Islam?
    F farida

    Salam farida,

The mind itself is quite mysterious since it contains the conscious mind, the subconcious mind and some say the superconcious mind. What we are witnessing today are only the mind power, and not on its full optimization. It is a very looooonnnnnnnnnnggggggg journey to reach the sovereign of the heart. However we do need to cleanse our nafs and mind before it produce the signal required to penetrate the heart (Qalbi Salim) .. 100% obedience. Only our heart can communicate with our soul.

    (A?udhu billahi min ash-shaytaan-ir-rajeem)

    (i) Whether the above statement is there in Al-Quran as it is or it is reconstructed? I find a similar statement at 1698 but not exactly the same way.

(ii) What is exactly intended in the Verse 1698 - a ritual of uttering the statement as lip service before reciting Al-Quran or something else?

    I am not quite sure but maybe it sums up these two last surah;

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak
From the evil of that which He created
And from the evil of darkness when it settles
And from the evil of the blowers in knots
And from the evil of an envier when he envies".

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,
    The Sovereign of mankind.
    The God of mankind,.
From the evil of the retreating whisperer
Who whispers into the breasts of mankind
From among the jinn and mankind."

Read these, with full faith in Allaah (swt), whenever you fear harm; from enemies, magicians, known and un know harm, from your evoirement, enemies disguised as friends, animal, insects, virus, darkness voodoo etc. you name it; all risks covered.

In Eastern Christianity bema remains the name of the platform which composes the sanctuary

In Orthodox Judaism, the bema is located in the center of the synagogue, separate from the Ark. In other branches of Judaism, the bema and the Ark are joined together

  • Hijab and verse 24:31; explanation without extrapolation

How is it modest for a woman to uncover her face? Burqa is the dress of Muslim ladies since the time of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. Quranist women don't observe veil, they wear English style clothes like the immoral English ladies who have no faith and no fear of Allah Tabbarak wa Taala. Burqa is the symbol of faith and love for Allah and love for modesty, while high heels and lipstick are the symbols of Satanism.

And when Moses said to his people,

"Indeed, Allah commands you to slaughter a cow."

They said, "Do you take us in ridicule?"

He said, "I seek refuge in Allah from being among the ignorant."

They said, "Call upon your Lord to make clear to us what it is."

    said, " says,
    'It is a cow
    which is neither old
    nor virgin
    but median between that,'
so do what you are commanded."

They said, "Call upon your Lord to show us what is her color."

    He said, "He says,
    'It is a yellow cow
    bright in color
    pleasing to the observers.' "

They said, "Call upon your Lord to make clear to us what it is.
Indeed, cows look alike to us. And indeed we, if Allah wills, will be guided."

    He said, "He says,
'It is a cow neither trained to plow the earth
    nor to irrigate the field,
    one free from fault
with no spot upon her.' "

They said, "Now you have come with the truth."

    Peace returned to you farida,

While you have translated as signs, which may be acceptable,
a better translation as ayats or revelations are better and more to the point.

    I prefer this translation

None argues against GOD's revelations/verses except those who disbelieve.
Do not be impressed by their apparent success.

    God bless you

    peace

    hawk99

Thank you for your input and I wonder why you returned my peace. Were you offended by my greetings, or are you saying peace be with you as well confused

For now I think its better we deal with the first part of your post which deals with the very basic the According to you better translation as ayats or revelations are better and more to the point

If you could kindly expound on this so I can I fully understand what exactly you mean, as word is mentioned, again and again in the Qur'an. For that reason you cannot link it to the next point/verse to understand its meaning. This surely has a whole set of solid meanings, which can be applied according to the relevant next point.

I translate it as sign/symbols/letters/alphabets, as Imam al-amiyr mentioned in his lessons/posts, and there is no harm in learning from the point of view of others. It will only increase your knowledge. So we can discuss it in two ways, either you explain fully how you apply your translation 'aayaat in different situations, as most are doing here on this forum on several subject like Salaah etc.
Or you learn from al-amiyr his point, and refute his understanding of or accept that he is right.

I am sure you are a confident mature and intelligent person and you are not superstitious or suspicious of other's studies or research. You can only confront someone after understanding what they are saying. Otherwise, as you have seen on this forum where there are so many intelligent members who have been debating many basic issues, yet are unable to reach a consensus...WHY?

Therefore, those who base their faith on, and accept

on Quran. Please correct me if I am wrong.

My take on this is that those who believes that; None can dispute about the Signs of Allah but the Unbelievers.
would give priority to first finding out about the Signs of Allah, and if they see that yes the person has shown them what he claims then they have confirmation of Muhammad's(SA) lineage.

When al-amiyr started to teach, and invite people, to learn from his knowledge from ALLAAH, the obvious question will be how did you get this special sacred knowledge? In order to satisfy their inquisitiveness he must obviously present his CV, if you like, his credentials or family background, to show people that he is indeed qualified for the job.

Now if you believe in the Signs of Allah you will not worry too much about his claim, as the proof is in the pudding. You will say ok show me if you are truthful, and when you see the truth, with your own eyes, you will know whether or not he is from Muhammad's(sa) lineage .
Others who see, accepting 'Muhammad's lineage as a prerequisite to obtaining knowledge, should ask themselves do I really believe in .

I am amazed how much you have progressed on your own since your initial lessons of the Book(al-kitaab) about five months ago. Very few understand what you understand above. This is the meaning of, "seeing they see they will not see and hearing they hear they will not hear, neither will they understand."

    salaam++ my respected Imam

You are too busy to check the two PMs I sent you in your forum, one was what I discovered this morning and the second was my excitement about finally understanding Salaah, yay

It happened when two JW missionaries came knocking on our door, and I invited them in, as I have great respect for them. They go out seeking to inform about Jehovah/Jahve, and people treat them so badly. We had a good chat, and they were amazed how similar our beliefs are. They kept saying the people will speak an alien language; at the same time insisting we read the Bible in English. I tried to explain to them that that is precisely the problem, but you know how difficult it is to get your point through to JW.
As we were talking this lady made a comparison of the straight and narrow path and the crooked path with her hand, the way of the righteous. This reminded me of the diagramme you made, in one of your last lessons here, and there it was; my answer that I have been struggling to understand for all this time! I finally cracked the code!!

Next step was simple; just refer to our lesson with you, and copy and paste them here -[

As hadith say if you take one step towards ALLAAH He takes ten steps towards you, and there is similar passage in the Qur'an too, but I can remember the verse at the moment.

May ALLAAH guide us all further to the straight road inshaa ALLAAH
