in the profound sea, tsunami is not dangerous at all. after the wave of tsunami passed, the ship can be said as "istawa" and people inside can be said as saved from the danger of being at coasts.

Having this said, every human being in this world has the right to have an opinion and to change it or not with time. Feel free to question all the posts you have doubts about and to learn from the forum if you want to.

I don?t know if you want my advice but I think you should look for your own truth, life will show you and you will learn, that?s a positive attitude, don?t obey people blindly and always respect each others opinions. They may be wrong or bad, or they may not. Maybe they?re right, but everyone has a path to complete. In fact, we are all ignorants trying to find something true in this deceptive life (imo).
Also, always have a space in your heart for doubts (dont be afraid of being wrong D ) and dont be too pride! And thats my mini-useless guide to life , lol. I hope you didnt fall asleep reading all of this.

Btw youre very young (and so I am P ) so just give yourself time to learn about life and dont let people or your own mind obsess you about anything/forget the important things as long as you dont harm others.

I wanted to share it for the purpose I mentioned, for women so we wont be discouraged, or maybe for the new hadith followers reading the forum, who knows?

Btw I dont feel bad if some guys comment here, I suppose we could have an "al about women" category but not restricted to women...we dont need that "women are worst/shameful" thing.

I also think hoor as whiteness could mean pureness, well only God knows.

And I think I read somewhere in Quran that God will repeat creation for the last time in 2920 , so there will be no need for companions for procreation, maybe for fun, or who knows? Only God knows.

Hi everyone

I would like to tell you my story in short. ( i am not so good in telling stories )

I have been born an raised a Sunni Muslimah in a traditional family. I always loved Eid, Ramadan and everything about it.

A couple of years ago (2004) i was in my early 20's and very very confused about life. I stumbled across a website that spoke on Quran Only (without hadith) i was really IN SHOCK. I started to really believe what was said but confused at the same time. I could not believe what i read. All my life we lived according to all these rituals. I wasn't the best in performing all these rituals so i didn't really do them all (what pissed my parents off -p)

After this shocking info, i just thought, fuck it, i am not doing this sh** no more so i went out and i try to forget about islam because it was too difficult.

When my father died a couple of years ago, i started thinking about life again (still going out at that time)

Now i have a boyfriend over 3 years and he we was also very strict, but i thought thats what i need to get back on track.

Now i "accidentilly' come across this website (last week) and i am all confused again. My confusion of 2004 is still not over.

I took off my head scarf and i dont pray. If i think of praying i dont wanna do it. Even though i really believe that Quran only is good.

I dont know whats wrong with me...

I have been reading all week about Quran only and how to pray or fast, i dont know how to do any of it. I see Rashad Khalifa praying 5 times and i some other people say 3 times.

I am confused

But the one thing that has positively changed in me is this

I have stopped seeing Allah as a man with a long beard who is always angry and trust me i have been thinking this for almost 30 years.

Now i see Allah as a light that i wanna be a part of

I just need the extra push and advice from fellow Quranist or better yet just Muslim

1- The sentence talks about praying while still thinking about sex (mental purification) or having physical "symptoms" (wait until its over so you dont mix prayers with hormone-induced thoughts).

2- Washing the rests of the "liquid disdained", only coming from men, as well as women have their periods.

All linguists the world over say that particle "seen" renders the verb only futuristic meanings. Present is excluded. The verb means to "to see, to watch, to observe".

Allah is alwayas watching the acts of people. Then what does watching, seeing in future denotes?

But particularly how would the Messenger watch in future from the point in time it was stated? How can he see the acts done in privacy? How can he see acts without he being present for everyone of them?

If our deeds will be made visible during the Judgement even us will see it.
It may refer to the future from the moment you are informed you are being observed, or the future in the day youre judged . Maybe the acts will be shown to some witnesses.

Forgive me i bring a hadith to throw light on this. I can't remember textually, but it is in itself an indictment of hadiths.

It goes int he sense that people asked the prophet this, and then this, and then this, asking for details of this and more details, and he was bothered not because he did not wnat to answer or they annoyed him but because he felt that automatically when he said anything they would take as an order and not as his feeling or opinion, so at a certain point he said do not ask me so much, because afterwards you will feel bound by what I say, and it is not obligations it is just my opinion.

The thing is that may be the Qur'an points to that. That we are not in a position yet to know certain things, and if we push we may get answer we cannot understand or do not make sense, because we lack the knowledge of the ground on which those questions rest.

For instance, scientific matters. Any question about ADN or which inolved it at a certain time, my throw people into the weirdest beliefs, because they did not have a map of where those things fit. So, in due course they might be answered but not there and then.

That is something I could make of it right now.
