Don't look at your past, the past is already dead. The most important thing at this point is what you're going to do NOW and in future time. Focus on re-tuning your life and being dedicated to God.

    Salaam Maryah,

If you think you are a great sinner or kafir , you should take a look at the following aayat.

    676
676 So when the night covered him, he saw a star. He said, "This is my lord." But when it set, he said, "I like not those that disappear."

This is Ibrahim, look what he has done. He said to the star that "this is my Lord", and then goes on and said to the moon that "this is my Lord" and again to the sun . The only reason was he was in search of his Lord . So, it is very big to say so, but it is not considered as a sin.

Secondly, Please read carefully from 2563-71 and see what are the sins Allah forgives. So nothing to worry about what you have done, inshaAllah.

Finally, you don't need to hide from your friends. Just be with them and behave normal. When Allah what THEM to hear something good from Allah, then they themselves ask you questions .
Then, you must tell them the truth only about what they ask you. Then let them decide to be your friend or not. Nothing is upon you and nothing to worry, if they are not true muslims, they will take a side from you. And you don't have to do anything, believe me, just be normal with them.

If you have any difficulty in understand what I wrote, please feel free to ask for clarification here or PM me.

Thank you for the answer. It helped me alot. But I dont think unbelief is a sin. There is no place in the Quran that it is a sin... whas the sura's you showed me (Ibrahim) shirk or unbelief?

But i found one surah "4.106. Pray God for forgiveness. Assuredly God is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate." In that surah the word sin is not mentioned, but it says you are forgiven for everything if you regret.

    Peace Maryah,

I feel sad to read your post and I can feel the struggle going on inside you...

Whatever happened or happens you should remember that there is only God to judge you in the end, no other people. I discourage you from saying the truth (whatever it might be) to your friends. See, we are only human beings and noone can really understand the other person and their choices until one walks in the other's shoes.. They will probably misunderstand you, misjudge you and maybe won't like to talk with you. They might have this 'holier than thou' attitude. There is really no need to go through all this and suffer more..

You should always remember that there is only One in this world who knows the truth about you..The GOD.. He is Al Rahmani Raheem but also he is As Samad (concealer of faults) if he concealed your faults from other people from His mercy, then it would be wrong if you revealed your things to them unnecessarily. You should turn to Him for repentance and you shouldn't postpone it... it's Satan's trick to make you feel bad and depressed that you end up thinking that you don't deserve Gods forgiveness...NO, if you genuinely repent and ask for forgiveness, God will forgive you, but first, you should forgive yourself too. Whatever you have done, acknowledge that you are not the first nor the last one to make mistakes, we human beings are weak and fall constantly. What takes courage is being able to go back up again, and despite all the weaknesses, strive for better. Do not feel depressed sister, do not be discouraged. Forgive yourself and start being close to God again. Respond to your friends and meet with them, you deserve happiness in your life

    Peace
    M.

Thank you for your answer. Means a lot. You're right. It may destroy much if I tell it. But I feel in a way it becomes a kind of double life if I do not tell the non-Muslim my friends that I am a Muslim. I will not risk meeting both on the street at once. I almost have to leave some of my friends, no matter how painful it is. I am so tired of this. To walk around being afraid of meeting people on the street. I have to choose sides. Either be friends with my non-Muslim friends or my Muslim friends. It probably sounds fine out to be friends with both, but I do not think it works.

    I have really ruin everything.

    Peace be With you too!

    I'm glad. God bless you.

And for those who avoid serving evil, and turn to God in repentance, for them are glad tidings. So give the good news to My servants.

The ones who listen to what is being said, and then follow the best of it. These are the ones whom God has guided, and these are the ones who possess intelligence.

As for those who have deserved the retribution; can you save those who are in the Fire?

But those who reverence their Lord, they will have dwellings constructed upon dwellings, with rivers flowing beneath them. The promise of God, and God does not break the promise.

Do you not see that God sends down water from the sky, then lets it run as springs in the earth, then He produces with it plants of various colors, then they grow until they turn yellow, then He makes them dry and broken? In this is a reminder for those who
    possess intelligence.

If God comforts the chest of a person to submission, then he will be on a light from his Lord. So woe to those whose hearts are hardened against remembering God. They have gone far astray.

God has sent down the best narrative, a Book that is similar, dual. The skins of those who are concerned towards their Lord shiver from it, then their skins and their hearts soften up to the remembrance of God. Such is the guidance of God; He guides with it whoever He wills. And for whoever God misguides, then none can guide him.

    ...

Say "O My servants who transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of God. For God forgives all sins. He is the Forgiver, the Merciful."

And repent to your Lord, and submit to Him, before the retribution comes to you. Then you cannot be helped.

And follow the best of what has been sent down to you from your Lord, before the retribution comes to you suddenly when you least expect it.

Lest a soul will say "How sorry I am for disregarding the path of God; and I was certainly one of those who mocked."

Or say "Had God guided me, I would have been among the righteous."

Or say, when it sees the retribution "If only I could have another chance, I would be among the good doers."

Yes indeed, My revelations came to you, but you denied them and turned arrogant, and became one of the rejecters.

And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied about God, their faces will be darkened. Is there not an abode in Hell for the arrogant ones?

And God will save those who were righteous as their reward. No harm will touch them, nor will they grieve.

God is the Creator of all things, and He is Guardian over all things.

To Him belongs the keys of the heavens and the earth. And those who rejected the revelations God, they are the losers.

Say "Do you order me to serve other than God, O you ignorant ones?"

And He has inspired to you and to those before you, that if you set up partners, He will nullify all your works, and you will be of the losers.

Therefore, you shall serve God, and be among the thankful.

And they have not given God His true worth; and the whole earth will be within His fist on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Be He glorified and exalted above what they set up.

And the horn will be blown, whereupon everyone in the heavens and the earth will be struck unconscious, except those spared by God. Then it will be blown another time, whereupon they will all rise up, looking.

And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the record will be placed, and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought forth; and it will then be judged between them with truth, and they will not be wronged.

And every soul will be paid for whatever it did, for He is fully aware of everything they have done.

And those who rejected will be driven to Hell in groups. When they reach it, and its gates are opened, its guards will say to them "Did you not receive messengers from among you who recited to you the revelations of your Lord, and warned you about meeting this Day?" They said "Yes indeed"; but the sentence of retribution has come to pass upon the rejecters.

It was said "Enter the gates of Hell, abiding therein. What a miserable destiny for the arrogant."

And those who reverenced their Lord will be driven to the Paradise in groups. When they reach it, and its gates are opened, its guards will say to them "Peace be upon you. You have done well, so enter to abide herein."

And they said "Praise be to God who has fulfilled His promise to us, and He made us inherit the land, enjoying the Paradise as we please. What a beautiful recompense for the workers!"

And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne, glorifying the praise of their Lord. And it will be judged between them with truth, and it will be said "Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds!"

    Thank you again!! sun

God bless you too! You have helped me so much. Do not know what I'd do without you. You are a very good person.

    General Issues / Questions

  • I am safe? I dont think that anymore
    M Maryah

    Salaam, Maryah.

Yes, it does! Right after , the Qur'an immediately describes the worst offenders to the rule the hypocrites during Muhammad's time.

Now the hypocrites of Madinah were an opportunistic group. When the Muslims were on top, they'd side with the Muslims, but when the Idolaters gained the upper hand, they'd side with the enemies, and so on and so forth. They believed, then disbelieved, then believed, then disbelieved, again and again, until they died.

So, they were the worst type of people, and the Qur'an says that they'll burn in the lowest level of Hell. BUT, even then, after all of that, they would still be saved if they repented sincerely.

Those who believed, then rejected, then believed, then rejected, then they increased in rejection; God was not to forgive them nor to guide them to the path.

Give news to the hypocrites that they will have a painful retribution.

Those who take the rejecters as allies instead of the believers "Do they seek glory with them?" All glory belongs to God.

And it has been sent down to you in the Book, that if you hear the revelations of God being rejected and mocked, then do not sit with them until they move on to a different narrative; if not, then you are like them. God will gather the hypocrites and the disbelievers in Hell all together.

Those who linger and observe you, if you have a victory from God they say "Were we not with you?" And if the rejecters have success, they say "Did we not side with you and deter the believers from you?" God will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection, and God will not grant the rejecters any success over the believers.

The hypocrites seek to deceive God, while He is deceiving them; and if they stand to make the contact prayer, they do so lazily, only to show the people; they do not remember God except very little.

They are swaying in-between, neither with this group nor with that group. Whoever God will misguide, you will not find for him a way.

O you who believe, do not take the rejecters as allies instead of the believers. Do you want God to have a reason against you?

The hypocrites will be in the lowest pit of the Fire; and you will not find for them a victor.

Except those who repent, and amend, and hold fast to God, and are loyal in their system to God; then these will be with the believers. And God will give the believers a great recompense.

What would God want with your punishment if you were only thankful and believed? God is Thankful, Knowledgeable.

How can God guide a people who have rejected after believing, and they had witnessed that the messenger was true, and the clarity had come to them? God does not guide the wicked people.

To these the punishment will be that the curse of God will be upon them and that of the angels and the people all together!

Abiding therein, the retribution will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved.

Except those who repent after this and make amends, then God is Forgiver, Merciful.

Those who have rejected after their belief, then increased in rejection, their repentance will not be accepted, they are the strayers.

Those who have rejected and died while they were rejecters, if the earth full of gold were to be ransomed with it would not be accepted from any of them. For these there will be a painful retribution and they will have no supporters.

Repentance is only for those who commit a sin out of ignorance and then repent soon after; these will be forgiven by God, for God is Knowledgeable, Wise.

And there will be no repentance for those who commit sin then when death comes upon any one of them he says "I repent now!" Nor for those who die while they are rejecters. For those We have prepared a painful retribution.

You'll find repeatedly phrases like "God guides whoever he wills." What this means is that "God guides anyone who wills" or "God guides anyone who wants to be guided." Obviously, people who increase in rejection do not want to be guided, thus God would not guide people who increase in rejection. And obviously, God will guide people who repent/come back to the path.

The Children of Israel worshiped the golden calf, and their repentance was accepted. This is even mentioned in the same surah as

The people of the Book ask you to bring down to them a book from the heaven. They had asked Moses for even more than that, for they said "Show us God openly!" So the lightning strike took them for their wickedness. Then they took the calf after the clarity had come to them, and We pardoned them for this; We gave Moses a clear authority.

If even the Children of Israel and the hypocrites of Madinah could be forgiven, then obviously your sincere repentance would be accepted.

Say "O My servants who transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of God. For God forgives all sins. He is the Forgiver, the Merciful."
    sun

    Salam!

Thank you for your reply ! I have had a lot of pain mentally recent days. I really thought I was doomed. Because the verse says not afterwards that one is forgiven if you start believing again before dying . So after reading the verse again and again , I was unsure about the conclusion I arrived a few weeks ago is correct.

I did not get an answer right away here on this forum, so I thought it was a sign that now is the battle lost. But I dreamed of Islam throughout the night . When I woke up I had to check the Quran , one last time . Then I read a little further and came to the same conclusion as you.

4 137 Those who believe , then reject faith , then believe (again) and (again) reject faith , and go on Increasing in unbelief , - Allah will not forgive them nor guide them nor guide them on the way .

4138 Give tidings to the hypocrites that there is for them a painful punishment

4145 The Hypocrites will be in the Stop depths of the Fire no helper wilt thou find for them ; -

4146 Except for those who repent , correct themelves to hold the two Allah , and are sincere in their religion to Allah , for those will be with the believers . And Allah is going to give the believers a great reward .

Allah says the first " Allah will not forgive them nor guide them on the way" but afterwards " exepect those who repent , correct themselfs "

Allah does not oppose himself, so since its possible to convert back to Islam again after many times, then it must mean that the sentence" and go on oncreasing in unbelief " mean that one must repent before Death or that you dont have really increasing in unbelief since Allah guides you as you said. Since as you said Allah guides not them who icreasing in unbelief.

So after that i went to this forum in here and saw your response. And i saw you have the same opininion. And that helped me alot. So thanks again )

    Peace Maryah,

    I would suggest the following

    Approach God directly.
This can be done by just sitting down in privacy and praise and thank God for all things in your life. Ask God to show you the truth, increase you in understanding and remove your fear and blindness. This is what I do. You need to get into a praising, happy mood when asking and thanking God. Don't think about doing it the correct way. Let go of the fear and just thank, praise and ask God for insight, wisdom and righteousness. Forget all about what religious authority is saying. They'll just bring fear into your mind, and fear will only paralyze, limit and shut you down. God's way is increase, growth, abundance, goodness, generosity, joy, compassion.... not fear. The evil forces will definitely try to thwart all steps towards purification and ascension. It's up to you to choose God and ignore fear. We become fearful when we don't understand who and what we are and when we don't understand God's greatness. Fear comes when we resist our natural inclination towards goodness. Fear comes when we focus on small, petty issues and details, totally losing scope of the bigger picture. Don't listen to the negative and confused human beings claiming to be religious authority.. they will just confuse you. Go straight to God. Ask God directly! Your heart knows how to do it!

Set your direction on God and goodness. Ask God to guide you and start listening to your heart... not your fearful mind!

    Peace and best wishes!

    few more points to add

the best conditions is night time for studies

because you need to identify LIAL A TUL QADR night

and use lamp instead to light in the room .....as darkness place a great role in heading our journey with allah

and you should also be able to sense that ALLAH is talking to you

allah talks always on 3 conditions
    Proof 425
It is not for any bashar that Allah should speak to him 1) except by revelation or 2) from behind a hijabin or 3)sending a messenger to reveal by his permissions. What he wills, indeed he is most high , the most wise..

so the most probable condition here is HIJAAAB ..... and revelation

and say to allah that you called musa in hijaab n spoke with him ...but i came all alone so will you not guide me ...i need your guidance my lord ....as i dont wanna go to hell ...save me from shaitaan .....,,,,but this is my idea ...you can generate your idea

    General Issues / Questions

  • Sabbat in the quran???
    M Maryah

    Peace,

Every seventh day of the week is generally accepted as a day with devotion to The Lord. Fifth day for Muslims, sixth day for Jews and seventh day for Christians. This is your Sabbath and no one disputes about that, so it is already accepted by all. Many people have forgotten about a gathering day however so they have lost it. It looks like people here dispute in it. For me it has started to become clear.

The particular day does not matter, I commemorate The Lord extra much on the sixth day of the week, every seventh day.

    God bless you

    I understand, thank you!

    Questions/Comments on the Quran

  • Go you to mosque?
    M Maryah

    Peace.

    Check these

Masjids that Oppose God and His Messenger*

    9107
There are those who abuse the masjid by practicing idol worship, dividing the believers, and providing comfort to those who oppose God and His messenger. They solemnly swear "Our intentions are honorable!" God bears witness that they are liars.

*9107 Any masjid where the practices are not devoted absolutely to God ALONE belongs to Satan, not God. For example, mentioning the names of Abraham, Muhammad, and/or Ali in the Azan and/or the Salat prayers violates God's commandments in 2136, 2285, 384, & 7218. Unfortunately, this is a common idolatrous practice throughout the corrupted Muslim world.

Do Not Pray in Those Masjids
    9108
You shall never pray in such a masjid. A masjid that is established on the basis of righteousness from the first day is more worthy of your praying therein. In it, there are people who love to be purified. God loves those who purify themselves.

    9109
Is one who establishes his building on the basis of reverencing God and to gain His approval better, or one who establishes his building
on the brink of a crumbling cliff, that falls down with him into the fire of Hell? God does not guide the transgressing people.

Check the verses underlined as per {1736] in case you disagree with the translation.

  • Im have destroyed my own life
    M Maryah

    Salam!

There is something called You do not know what you have until you lose it. I had everything.I had several Muslim friends . I went wore hijab and abaya sometimes. I went to the mosque almost every day after school. I got to know the people in the mosque. I had a peace inside me .

But after a while I found myself astray. I was an unbeliever . One who believe , then disbelief, then believ so on.. . Or rather one hypocrites . I've done a lot of stupid as unbeliver . I have also taken an overdose of pills twice to die and ended up in hospital both times . I hated that life. And now I hate myself and everything I 've done. I am so mad at myself.

The Muslim friends my contacts me yet, they wonder what happened . Why I never answer and meet then anmore . I miss my muslim friends. But now I dare not meet them . Why ? Because I 'm afraid they will leave me if they know the truth . I miss the Muslim my life . I miss it so terribly much. I miss praying five times a day. Getting closer to God . But it can never be like before . For that case then I tell the truth , and then no one will be with me. Not the muslim friends , nor the non- Muslim friends of mine. But I will not live a lie anymore. I am considering telling all, for both sides . Telling the Muslim side that I have been unbeliver and tell my other friends that I am a Muslim. And now that I'm going to become a better Muslim. If I lose all I have at least been honest .

And you may well judge me here. But I do not care. The only thing I care about now is to get closer to God , go to the mosque and pray again . Pray for forgiveness. Ask to not let the devil catch me. Whether I have some friends again or not.

But im afraid. Its scary to tell the truth. But should I?
