Thank you very much for the support yousef! laugh I agree, language doesn't really matter. The main inspiration as to why I would like to learn Arabic because I woul like to publish a Polish translation of the Quran and I feel like doing it from English wouldn't be feeling so "authentic". You see, there's absolutely no Quranist community that I know of in the Polish speaking world, there are muslims but they're all hadithers; most of the from north africa, few Poles.

    Peace to mankind sun

I've seen the documentary and I think in some parts in supports the Quranist logic as hearsay not being a good source for information. Anyway I don't see what the fuss is about with all the fool sunni scholars the story he presents seems to be true and reliable without the arab myths encompassed into the religion. I say "good job " to the historian for unravelling what is hidden under lies.

    Peace to all, D

Seriosly hadith has so many regulations on how to do stuff; it tries to make religion the whole of our life whis is seriosly wrong. Any respected historian doesn't accept hearsay as evidence because there's no reliable way to proove it unless the person claimed to speak in them was alive. Hadith is a way to destroy freedom tha the Qoran gives to humankind. It's really revolting what some move up to for hadith terrorism, beating one's wife, killing dogs! & .

    Good day!

Basically, a cow has flat teetch because they only eat grass. But we have thos sharp teeth in front, called inscisors I believe, in English. Aditionally the teeth form a zig-zaggy shape, which further helps to decompose meat. Our stomach is adapted to eat meat. Like it adapted itself to drink milk and stuff.

    human teeth http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_tooth
    Cattle http//www.nzdl.org/gsdl/collect/fnl2.2/archives/HASHc79c.dir/f11p05.gif <-----------as you see, they're flat.

    Selam,

I have given this a lot of thought (couldn't sleep yesterday because of the problem). Of course I give my greatest thanks to all who gave answers to the question. In the end I came up that

    1. It is natural for us to eat animals, we have carnivore teeth. However, the way animals are treated on today's farms is absolutely unacceptable, therefore as a form of a protest I do not eat it at all. Also, moderation is important . in my household , meat is eaten nearly everyday. I hold the same belief that mass production should be possible to stop trough moderation. I think it is healthy to eat meat 2 day a week, but I'm unsure, that's what I've heard somewhere. Also I do not think that young animals that are to be eaten should be killed but at the edge of their life, but not too old, or filled with disease; because as Allah said , animals form communities like humans and I believe everyone should have a right to establish a family before being slaughtered.

    2. I think that the formless one gave us an amazing choice that other animals can't make, we can choose not to eat meat; some sufis did practice vegetarianism , by the way.

Anyway, sorry for the confusion, I used to be on this forum but I harshly deleted my account because I thought I wouldn't comeback to Islam. I was wrong therefore I created another acount under the same name. Sorry for any confusions.

Peace and good day. sun I am very satisfied with my conculsions, and they wouldn't be possible without this forum community , thank you!

    Peace,
All the sikhs I know of are vegetarians, veganism, hmmm, yes they sometimes do treat dairy cows very unfairly and I would agree to be a vegan because of that , but, I wouldn't consider products from animals as unlawful unless the animals have been treated badly. Anyway, I am at a really confused point and I am actively looking for an answer, it's just so difficult to find.

    Peace to all,

Now , we all know that the Koran teaches us to believe in God, the Lord of the universes, the benevolent , the merciful etc. But I have an issue I would like to discuss; the view on islam on polytheism and atheism. The Koran speaks that disbelief is wrong, and says that those who disbelieve will be in hell, but I believe that the few words that are recited before almost every surah in God's book have a significance Bismillahi Ar-rahamani Ar-raheem . So at the beggining of almost every surah we are told that God is merciful, does that nullify that hell for atheism and politheism policy? I personally pray that every body be given access to heaven, and stand on the grounds that the access to freeing your spirit and travel to the ever conscious (HEAVEN) does not require a belief in God, but only self realisation and righteous deeds. So pointing out things that we as muslims believe is wrong isn't wrong in itself but denying an atheist, or a politheist or any other theist heaven even though he does godly/righteous deeds is in itself wrong.

Please sisters/brothers give me your opininions on these matter, SLM

    Peace friends!

Straight to the point I'd like to start understanding koranic arabic for myself without being so dependent on the few people from this forum that actually speak arabic wow. Could you make any recommendations as to the books to be gotten, stuff I should do. My main problem is resources because when I go to bookshops around London but there aren't many (hardly any ) helpful books and I am quite didstrusting to buying books off internet that'll dissappoint me. Also I have peace at my mind when I can learn the grammatical rules before attempting deep vocabulary.

    Thank you! sun

Peace to all who seek truth,
Yesterday on my way to a photographer I saw one of the scariest most revolting things in my life! An open truck from a slaugher house, with skinned cows hanging upise down. And I thought wait, do I eat that? Is it right to hurt another creation of allah that breathes and feels pain? This cannot be right, therefore the following night I stopped eating meat. I need quranist answers, and if I don't get something specific I will be considering changing my faith! With Sikhism being the first that fits my philosophical profile, I used to be a Christian , by the way.

Sisters and brothers, please answer! '(
