I supose different people have different personal beliefs, but if we are to follow the Quran than I supose that we would come to the same conclusion as Latif has.

Wich brings me to question of subjectivity and objectivity. So what do you think. Is there objective moral truth or is moral truth subjective?

    Thanks

I just had a look at this section and now I realise that in the last I have posted similar threads wich makes it obvious what's the most hardest article for my self to accept. I could be having a quranist mistycal experience, like a quranist sufi.

    Thanks

  • How does shaytan operate?
    P Peki

Wakas, I tried your suggestion again but couldn't navigate. It gave me verses in Arabic. But before you get anoyed by my failure I have to say that I have gone to the study quran link that you have in your signature and have navigate really well through there. So after reading all the verses that mention Satan and taking in to consideration my lifts experiences I soul still say that he is preaty much involved in almost everything we do. I soul say that he either can be at many places at once or that be is spiritualy conected to his other evil jins and they soul be synchronized like a mashine. More you do wrong, more power he has over you and God can let him give you a hard time if you don't obey God. So further you go it would be harder to come back such is common sense. So obeying God would be the only way for protection. First of all obviously you have to believe in God(in case a non believer reads this). I would say that you have to balance out reason with your heart preaty well to come to know the truth. Anyway Satan has his fingers in a lot on earth. Thanks

Peace Wakas. I have gone to the corpus link that you have provided and I typed in shaytan and it said that my search didn't match any documents. Then I tried Satan and shaitan and the same thing hapened. Maybe its because I am on the phone. I don't have a computer any more. Just a phone. Still a preaty good phone thank God but not ad effective as a computer for the internet. Either way it would be good to hear other peoples opinions. I think that the shaitan can do more than just wisper into hearts and minds. But that's a personal opinion. Thanks

I am not sure have you read the natural republic from the mono theist group but their understanding is that its ok to drink alcohol as long as it doesn't interfere with worship and the rest. I would like to hear anyone with similar opinion. Thanks.

  • What does hell mean to you/any alternative undrstandings
    P Peki

First of all I must admit that I am having doubts about the validity of the Quran. Second, no mater what I end up, wether a deist or an omnist(I am considering these two)I won't to stay friends with everyone on this forum. This is the best form of Islam. This and those sufis that believe that everyone will be forgiven.
Ultimately what maters is the truth even though I might no personally like something.

I rely greatly on my intuition and am in touch with feelings of love for the creator. And when I feel that love and closeness to God it feels like he simply wouldn't burn anyone. I t feels like if you end up evil you will be a demon and with other satanic beings you would spread mischief. And if you end up good you would end up with God and those sentient beings who have decided to be good or turn away from evil and have died as good beings.

Of course there is always a possibility that I could be wrong. So if you disagree, agree, half agree I would like to hear your opinion. I just want to make it sure that you know that I am not trying to have an argument but am simply interested in what are your thoughts on this post. These are personal beliefs. I see some truth everywhere.

Peace and respect brothers and sisters!

    Thanks

I was just wandering wether anybody believes that God sometimes intervenes and by doing so proves to us things such as devine justice? Or have you noticed in life how God works by looking into cause and effect. I believe I have. The only thing is those experiences are only good for those who have them and those who have witnessed it and I supose those who beloved that God is behind e everything. I supose that the Koran talks ably God revealing him self to those that he wants. So what do you think, are miracles possible and are they only within the laws of Gods laws that he has sat up for us? Thanks

  • Our treatment of others
    P Peki

Hi everyone, its me Pel. I apologise for deactivating my account recently. I have done that with all forums that I was registered with. However I am back on this one only because thats what I am, a Koranist/God Alone muslim. The atheists on their forums don't have much respect for religions so them I don't think I will activate.

Anyway I am interested with how do others understand the verses such as the following
551 O you who believe, do not take the Jews and the Nazarenes as allies, for they are allies to one another; and whoever takes them as such from among you is one of them. God does not guide the wicked people.

Reason why I am asking this is because I have others who are helping me in life and to have only Koranist muslims for instance in my life is impossible because I don't know one in person. And I like interacting with others.

Also I can't find it right now but there is preaty sure somewere in the Koran were it says that you shouldn't be friends with those who have caused the wrath of Allah to descend on them. I mean how do you know who is just being"tested/tried" as oposed to those who are beyond help?

Also I have started atending the Naqshbandi sufi meetings. Would anyone say that thats not good in any way.

The way I see it is it doesn't mean friends in general but only in religious sense, such as don't go to church for instance. Anyway how do you see and understand these kind of verses?

    Thanks
