Of course one could argue it is an interpretation/implication of what is said. Any counter view would have to have evidence.

It is against Quran to claim that the best community decided to corrupt the way of prayers. Allah the Most High said You are the best community that has ever been brought forth for mankind you enjoin good and forbid evil, and you believe in Allah.

Or ,perhaps you follow your own understanding after checking and studying Qoran yourself. Of course one can also study what others are saying, like does it fit with Qoran? At the end of the day, it should be your own reasoning/understanding where you are satisfied that you have used your "eyes, ears and brain" without bias or pressure and with honesty and sincerity to follow GOD s message ,if you believe in GOD. GOD will try your true conviction and effort . And it will be between you and GOD in the end. Always stay with what you understand best from your own checking. Do not rush ,even if your doubts grow. It also says that some Jews take quotes out of context 416. This is probably one of those times. IIRC, it is. Don't take this as anti-semetic, but something you should be weary of regardless the situation. Stay steadfast brother, I mess up a lot but God forgives sin. Also, I recommend not taking my word for it and taking the idea of confirming things yourself to heart. Context is everything, there's a reason we shouldn't argue about what is and isn't in the Quran IMO.

And we resume the status quo of" He is a liar!!!. My point is all the differences that exist, GOD promised to clarify. Did GOD send a messenger to clarify "The Salat"? To me that is the main question that needs investigation. Then one may find their "Salat2 and how many tiimes and when. Or they carry on following whoever or their own interpretations. At the end of the day, the main message of "sirat Al Mustaqueem" is the most important,but messengers will keep coming. So do not despair. May the Lord clarify "The Salat2 to all seekers of it.
