Peace "tarmo", I tend to agree with you here. "Nafs" has uniquely evolved into the human brain. It may also be as a result of the specific connection between the heart and the brain, the former of which also posesses a small neural network unlike previously thought. The specific arragement of neurons and their firing within humans results IMO in the formation of what we call as Nafs/consciousness. Should this Nafs evolve in other species, or creatures which we currently classify as other species, we wouldnt be allowed to kill them anymore. I actually wanted to write an article on this. Dolphins or some of what what may today still be classified as primates may actually turn out to be Nafs possessing creatures after thorough scientific inquiry in the future for example. GOD Bless!
